A report from webOS Nation suggests HP has sold the Palm brand to a shelf company which appears to be owned by Alcatel Onetouch, or rather its owners, Chinese phone maker TCL.

This is according to a report by webOS Nation which has looked at the details of the shelf company that purchased the Palm brand from HP.

webOS Nation also noted that Palm website diverts to mynewpalm.com, which shows the well known Palm logo and morphing text that first says «Coming Soon», and then says «Smart Move», with Smart Move being one of the slogans for Alcatel Onetouch.

webOS Nation discovered that the Palm brand was sold to a shelf company called «Wide Progress Global Limited», who has a Vice President called Nicolas Zibell.
