A

To tie in with Anti-Bullying
Week 2014 (November 17 - 22) Into Film, an education charity supported by the BFI with Lottery funding, has developed a resource featuring six carefully selected films — three
for primary and three
for secondary — to promote
discussion about bullying and related themes such as friendship, standing up
for what is right and the power of
groups, positive and negative.
Chandler says that it usually takes one and a half to two
weeks for students to learn how to handle the

The National Education Association hosted a National Summit on Family, School, and Community Engagement last
week in Alexandria, Va where educators, education leaders, parents, family and community activists, business leaders and representatives of the faith community met
for two days of small
group and panel
discussions.
We had an online writer's
discussion / support
group that met every
week for over 10 years, but the critique
groups that tried to spin off seemed to die early deaths.

PROGRAM Each of the four
weeks includes
group critiques, individual studio visits and a seminar: a focal point
for group discussion of contemporary ideas, theory and issues based on readings, artist talks, public events.
Other ongoing programs include a free printmaking workshop that provides artists and amateurs 10
