The four
weeks of paid
parenting leave may be taken in increments of one
week or more, or as otherwise approved by your business manager, and must be taken within 12 months of the birth or adoption of the child.
Finance Minister Bill Morneau's budget announced an option that will give new
parents the ability to share either five or eight additional
weeks of
leave following the birth of a child, provided they also share the job of caring for the baby.
