So when I get back into town and barely have enough time to throw in a load
of laundry, let alone meal
prep my typical veggies and salads and grains before the
work week begins, you KNOW I'm putting together some crazy simple meals to get me through the
week!
Since I don't
work full time anymore I don't do all
of this anymore but I promise the more
prep I do the better I feel about my eating that
week!
Also this
week:
prep for upcoming class,
work on garden, harvest / preserve rhubarb as needed, get back into walking after being a sicky last
week, make kimchee, finish GFCF cake packet,
work 15 hours typing data entry (at least — 20 would be better, but doubt I can do that much), and
work on getting clothes that are too small out
of the girl's closets — maybe... We will see how much
of that gets done, but it's good to have a goal!
I have had a wonderful weekend, with the first ever Iowa BBG Meet - up, an easy meal
prep (remember my posts are staggered by one
week), a home movie - date with Draz and a lot
of time
working on my Etsy store!
Both
of these snacks are quick to prepare, but I love being a food -
prepping queen on Sundays to get the ingredients prepared and ready to compile during the
week while I am at
work.

of the dish (depending on how many people are in the group), and then bring in lunch for the group on your designated day.
While Im excited to get home to my boyfriend and my dog, to snuggle in on the sofa and relax, Im even more excited to hit the grocery store,
prep my food for the
week, route Saturdays run, and put my body back to
work at what it does best: taking care
of me.
Sunday was also my food preparation day, when I made all my salads up for the
week ahead so I had more time on
work days to train instead
of worrying about
prepping food.

The first 6 days
of it made up the end
of my American trip, the following
week an adjustment period
of jetlag and playing catch up which saw my motivation to dress prettily bottom out, and then a frantic two
week period
of busyness and
prep as birthdays, blog
work and the approaching festive season blended together to make a perfect storm
of overwhelming «what next, what next?»
Between
prepping of our HOLIDAY POP - UP SHOP and preparing for our big Asia trip in a few
weeks — I have found little time to

week here in mid-October — Mother Nature is
working hard to transition from summer to fall, and I along with many others are
prepping for the last big pop - culture convention
of the year, New York Comic Con!
In the fall quarter, when I had a particularly challenging schedule, I was
working close to 70 hours per
week (which is why I was posting a lot less back then) in addition to the considerable amount
of prep time I had put in over the summer.

With a place to sit and chat at the counter, a spot to
work or research new recipes at the desk, a dedicated bar area for entertaining, and plenty
of counter space for

of the
week.
