Ok, so besides discussing what irritates our mothers, let's take a moment to break down a new winter
outfit (that yes is FINALLY weather appropriate) Yes, I acknowledge that some
of the
outfits I share aren't ideal for the cool temperatures this winter has brought to NY, but hey like I said... I wish it was spring /
summer year round #SorryNotSorryMy love for an Old Navy cable knit sweater has become quite apparent this
week on the blog (I wore this brown one on Wednesday here + I wore the baby blue one yesterday here)... I guess you can say a classic cable knit sweater has become a winter staple for me!
It is a way to say here is a great

I said last
week that I would share some
of my favourite
summer outfits before autumn kicks in.

summer pieces into fall on the frugal side.
I might've been all about spring layers last
week, but this
summer, I'm looking for a one - stop - shop kind

of the nautical feeling this
outfit spreads and since I'm going to Croatia this
week I thought another similar
outfit would be a good idea:D This time I prefer a classy

Since we've been vacationing this past
week, I prescheduled all

It seemed like
Summer was only a few short
weeks away, and I'm all
of a sudden looking for Thanksgiving
outfit ideas.

week of fun with styling our

We believe a chic pair
of comfortable tennis shoes should be a
summer staple, so this
week we're welcoming Lilly from Lilly Style to share her favorite
outfits to wear with sneakers this

Last
week we rounded up a bunch
of summer blazers — I thought I'd put together a few
outfits using some
of the pieces.
That was enough
of an excuse as I needed to bring out my Spring finest & ditch the tights for a more spring
summer style
outfit, specifically it gave me the perfect excuse to finally wear my new Zara denim playsuit which has been sat patiently awaiting wear since I picked it up a few
weeks ago.

While I'm still savoring the last few
weeks of summer and every sunny, warm day, there are have been a few sneaky days and will be for sure in the next month or two that call for a balanced
outfit and some longer sleeves.
Kicking off with the Spring 2018 men's shows overseas — including London Fashion
Week Men's, which wrapped on Monday — showgoers hit the ground running in their best
summer outfits, as opposed to the winter - ready ensembles from the beginning
of the year.
So to wrap up
summer (although I still have some summery
outfits that will transition into fall to share over the next couple
of weeks), I wanted to share some
of my favorite looks from

I've always loved the Audrey Hepburn inspired
outfits that involved ballet flats and slim little capri pants... but the reality was that in Michigan, ballet flat season lasted approximately 6
weeks: From the beginning
of September (after the
summer thunderstorms and muggy heat stopped) through mid October (before the first snowfall).
