I suffer from Crohn's disease and decided a radical change of
diet might be a very
good idea, especially as I'm such a sugar lover, So I've cut out sugar (was already gluten - free, and a
veggie) and have stuck to
good, healthy Ella - type food for the last week.it's already made a massive difference.
I was skeptical about the low carbs being the problem too but since I've started taking supplements and adding some more
veggie carbs into my
diet I'm definitely feeling
better every day so I hope they were right and it really is that simple of a fix!
It's no surprise that plant based
diets are extremely healthful and even if you aren't ready to give up animal products 100 % (I know am not), then you can feel
good knowing that an increase in your fruit and
veggie intake can have great health benefits.
Between work, taking care of the kids, maintaining a
veggie - filled
diet, and attempting to fit in some self - care here and there, prioritizing and understanding products that are both
good for the environment (and you) can fall to the wayside.
