The recommendation from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP)
is exclusive breastfeeding for about the first six months, and the continuation of breastfeeding along with the addition of new foods for one year.
It is the AAP's position that it's exclusive breastfeeding for 6 months.
And so it's exclusive breastfeeding, no supplementation, no additional foods, breastfeeding around the clock.
The breastfeeding did not have to
be exclusive breastfeeding, without formula use.

breastfeeding support kits,» which include, of all things, formula.

is no pushback at home for
exclusive breastfeeding.
I do not get why these folks
are so hung up on «
exclusive»
breastfeeding.
Really, she
's got > 99 % breastmilk, but by many definitions we
're not counted as
exclusive breastfeeding.

I also feel that «conflict of interest;» I would have
been willing to do anything for that magical perfect
exclusive breastfeeding relationship, including go without sleep or adequate nutrition and turn into a raging hell - beast as a result, but it

Full time
