In this way, Dead Island 2's world becomes the product of the each player's perspective, unloading what they can't experience and loading in enemies that will more effectively combat them as a group.

With the original games taking place in a set of islands, Escape Dead Island has the task of explaining what happens in the story that causes the zombie outbreak to reach land for the Dead Island 2 setting of San Francisco.

I for one can not wait to get my grubby paws on Dying Light — I was a huge fan of the first Dead Island and with the creators at the helm of Dying Light, I am looking forward to seeing what Techland c...

All in all I think Dead Island: Riptide would have been more successful if it was marketed and priced for what it really is, and that's an expansion upon the original.

It will be something that more clearly communicates what Techland originally planned for Dying Light; a similar sense of humor to Dead Island, or a more serious tone like The Last of Us.

What is probably Escape Dead Island's most unique feature is its appearance.

To be honest some of you might want to substitute Dead Island 2 for Dying Light, but having played Techland's zombie slasher at EGX last year, I developed an interest in what is an overdone gaming staple of relying on zombies.
