I hope that after reading
what follows, the only fish fear you will face is
FOMO — fear of missing out.
We all know
what shopping
FOMO does to a person, right?!
I think
what's holding me back is a lingering feeling of
FOMO.
I wanted to see
what this great gambit was all about, and I also didn't want to experience the
FOMO of seeing other people on my twitter feed talking about the film before I got a chance to see it.
So,
what for many is typically a barrage of irrelevant information concealing a few precious gems, I have a steady stream of high quality, valuable content, which of course I don't want to miss out on (this is real
FOMO in action, you see).
What about
FOMO — or the fear of missing out?
Impulse buying may occur because of a fear of missing out (
FOMO), or people may find it hard to «let go» of the idea of making a purchase if they convince themselves it's
what they need to do.
More importantly perhaps for those like me who tend to suffer from tech
FoMO, the relative technological dullness of 2011 (in hindsight) also means that it's probably OK to generally ignore most of the noise in the tech space and focus on
what matters.

FOMO In a report published this week, in collaboration with Group IB, the professional services giant reviewed 372 ICOs and warned about
what it views as the ICO market's «big risks.»

The result is a pump and dump, a falsely induced price spike which encourages others to get on board for fear of missing out (
FOMO), and then the consequent sell - off, which dumps the asset value back to
