what about God — but even these sentences do not matter as much as «what you do with you are taught».

We are discussing the content and man's interpretation of the bible and it's many changed versions of the bible,

So you see the BIble made it pretty clear how
God felt
about slavery, it just took us a long time to realize it... we are a s.inful people after all... And as for g.ay rights,

about sacrifice or just making an extra effort in your daily life in remembrance of
what God has done for us... whether it be good deeds, praying more, spending less on vices or earthly pleasures, etc...
what many people don't realise is that the bible is telling people

God but the Religions want you to believe in Religion and so mislead people.

Every time religion is brought up regardless of

about people start dissing on

What I am advocating is that we reframe our thinking when it comes to how we discuss our beliefs

So much of
what I led worship with in high school was
about me — the lyrics centered on me telling
God what I wanted to do, or
what I wanted Him to do.
I am so sorry that you have been told / taught such awful things
about Jesus, but whether or not you believe He is fully man and also fully
God, there is more than enough proof historically and in present scripture to show that labeling Him as a mysogonist and an advocate for murder is a drastically false account of who He is and
what He stood for.
We as Muslims have 99 names for
God Allah and it would have been a pleasure for me to list it out for you so you would know

I do know enough
about God's love that hell is not
what most people believe.
the only important thing in life is how we treat one an other, how we live our lives, dipping into religous orthodoxy and entering a discussion
about what god to pray to is nothing more then selfindulgent hokus pocus guesswork.
To claim to «know» there is no
God, and yet still not knowing so much of
what there is to know
about the universe, is just taking something you want to believe on faith.
What about the widespread creationist belief that
God created the universe in six literal 24 - hour days?
What did our Founding Fathers have to say
about religion: «Question with boldness even the existence of a
god.»
In my brain I know
god doesn't exist, so when I walk by a sign that says something
about Jesus (which is quite often around here) ya know
what I do?
But — caution is wise: Be careful a blog does not become a theraputic enviroment for one to say
what they want to say
about the church — even
God — Jesus or whatever.
