kale and cardio fitness and instead focus on
what the year ahead could look like for one of the most talked
about investment ideas — smart beta.
It would be weird if one day I wrote
about a decadent, butter and sugar filled Nutella cake and the next day I blogged
about kale salad — it sends mixed messages of
what you're all
about and you won't necessarily connect with your target audience as you're not totally catering to anyone's needs.
When I first started my blog almost three years ago
kale was not cool and everyone around me thought I was mad with my healthy eating, my audience was so much smaller but
what mattered was that my readers could see that I cared
about what I was writing
about.
What I love
about using the dehydrator to make
kale chips is that there are no burnt pieces and all the
kale chips come out evenly baked.

kale or spinach or beet greens or collard greens or mustard greens anything verdant when at the markets because pooping is important
After reading yet another blog post
about kale chips I decided to see for myself
what all the fuss was
about.
What's in it: 1/2 butternut squash, peeled and cut into 1/2 inch cubes (
about 2 - 3 cups) Prepared cornbread *, cut into 1/2 inch cubes (
about 3 - 4 cups) Multigrain bread, cut into 1/2 inch cubes (
about 3 - 4 cups) 1/2 small onion, chopped 2 cups chopped
kale 1 1/2 -2 cups chicken or vegetable broth 2 large eggs 1/2 cup dried cranberries 4 fresh sage leaeves 3 sprigs of fresh thyme (or 1 tspn dried thyme) Salt and pepper to taste For vegetarian version: 2 cups roughly chopped portobello mushrooms For non-vegetarian version: 3 lean turkey italian sausages
May substitute some Walla Walla onions and
kale just to mix things up, but that's
what is great
about this recipe, it screams for variation and playing around with the ingredients.
Other favourite snacks to grab when I am out and
about are chia pods,
kale chips, coyo and of course
what could be simpler than fruit!
Or at the very least, if you're calorie counting or merely being more mindful
about what you put in your smoothies, you can still generally go nuts on the
kale, spinach, and chard.

I work at a natural food market and have had a lot of discussions with folks
about what to do with
kale.
I'm thinking
about sautéing some
kale, adding it to the spinach with a squirt of Liquid Aminos and see
what that taste like.
but thinking
about it the other day is
what inspired these savory sweet
kale and cherry galettes.
I don't know
what I like the most
about this, the dough, the cherries, no wait it's the
kale!
Now that it's (finally) March, we only have a few weeks left where root veggies,
kale, and heavy winter flavors are
what we need to keep us going, so I'd suggest that you indulge in this dish now before all you can think
about are radishes and asparagus and rhubarb.

What a genius way to sneak in some healthy adding in the
kale... I love that these are so easy to make and are so perfect to add with just
about any meal you are making..
Also, with thyroid issues, there are certain foods you should avoid as they inflame your thyroid (broccoli,
kale, etc) so I would talk to your doctor
about what foods to focus on and avoid to help you recover as quick as you can.
What about the fat soluble vitamins found in
kale or other vegetable juices like carrot juice?
The 12 % fat that is in
kale also fits with
what Campbell, Esselstyn, Greger, etc recommend which is
about 10 % fat in the diet.
What I don't like
about his discussion is that he speaks
about sugar INSTEAD of talking
about the information
about GREENS like bok choy, and greens like collards, turnips, kudzu, spinach, mint,
kale.
Although, Heather was not very careful
about what she ate or drank while nursing, to my dismay, And, when Ethan was weaned, his mother or father gave him juiced
