By far, the oddest
thing about Donald Trump's 1995 tax returns, a portion of which was published by The
New York Times on Saturday, is not the massive $ 916 million loss — some 9,385 times as large as
what was taken by the average filer who claimed a similar loss — but this: 1995 was actually a very good year for Trump, perhaps one of the best of his career.

its not really atheism or religion that I have a problem with, its the hate, control, and fear that goes along with it that I have a problem with, you say that those who are spiritual are into
new agey, crystal ball, stuff, see that's
what I'm talking
about, you assume to know
what something is
about when you don't understand something you naturally fear it, your self righteous clouds you, don't you get that by being narrow minded in your view towards
things, you really act no better than religious fundamentalists, being spiritual is a lot more than just the
new agey, think positive all the time that you think it is, its
about being aware of who you are?
It says in 1john 3:8 whoever sins belongs to the devil and Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil which was sin.Think
about this, right or wrong
things is not sin, sin is a nature that you were born with, but when you confessed your sins he forgave you, and you became a
new creature, old
things have passed away and now you are a
new person; and a
new person is not the same, if you can still sin after being born again then
what did he take away, don't you know that his blood is so powerful that you don't have to worry
about sinning because it has been destroyed, he took it away.
Think of some of the most liberated souls you know

thing is stated
about the manner of creation, and this can be recognized aetiologically, though not very easily, so that it was worth saying it, namely, that this creative intervention of God positing

Mike i like
what you wrote
about the relationship with Christ its all
about that.To me the gospel description is found in that verse it covers our fathers love that he has always loved us from the beginning when he created us it covers the reason why Jesus was sent to put
things right to remove our sin guilt and shame and to receive from him
new life his life eternal but it is just as real today and tomorrow and forever.brentnz
Rick the more i think
about it we are to live as overcomers not strugglers since the day i decided to turn away from the sin that was controlling my life i never fell back into old sinful patterns not once, was i tempted many many times. The Lord will work in our lives one area at a time he needs us to give him full control so if an area is taking control we do need to hand it to him so he can change us.How do we do it immediately we say Lord you know i am weak but in you i am strong i leaned on him and overcame time and time again. We all have areas of weakness that we struggle in so do nt feel bad.Struggling is us trying to do it in our own strength before this process i was so stubborn i refused to let God help me i wanted to do it in my own strength and so it was a roller coaster ride in my christian walk if the day went well i was on a high if it did nt i would would be down. Not any more now when
things do nt go to plan i still thank the Lord and when it goes well i thank the Lord.Because i know that all
things work for good to those who love the Lord. The main area he is wanting is our hearts he wants all our heart not only some until we come to that place we will continue to struggle in our faith. The only reason to tell you this is not to boast because of
what i have done in myself because i have nothing to boast
about but if i did i would brag that Christ has empowered me by his holy spirit to be an overcomer just as he would want you to be.As Christians we are all called to be overcomers more than conquerers.Make a decision today to turn all your hearts to the Lord to acknowledge the areas you are holding onto that are controlling your flesh life hand them to the Lord and walk according to the spirit and not the flesh and he will give you the victory. That can be a reality starting today merry christmas everyone and may the
new year be an exciting one as we put all our trust in Christ our Lord and savior.Brentnz
Or
what about the drowning of the Egyptian army in the Red Sea, the earthquake the swallowed up all those who followed Korah in rebellion against Moses, or the
things that God allows Satan to do to Job, or even some passages in the
New Testament such as the death of Ananias and Sapphira, or the bloodbath that takes place in the book of Revelation?
One of the striking
things about the Easter and post-Easter narratives in the
New Testament is that they are largely
about incomprehension: which is to say that, in the canonical Gospels, the early Church admitted that it took some time for the first Christian believers to understand
what had happened in the Resurrection, and how
what had happened changed everything.
Jeremy i am surprised you never countered my argument Up till now the above view has been my understanding however
things change when the holy spirit speaks. He amazes me because its always
new never old and it reveals why we often misunderstand scripture in the case of the woman caught in adultery. We see how she was condemned to die and by the grace of God Jesus came to her rescue that seems familar to all of us then when they were alone he said to her Go and sin no more. This is the point we misunderstand prior to there meeting it was all
about her death when she encountered Jesus something incredible happened he turned a death situation into life situation so from our background as sinners we still in our thinking and understanding dwell in the darkness our minds are closed to the truth. In effect
what Jesus was saying to her and us is chose life and do nt look back that is
what he meant and that is the walk we need to live for him. That to me was a revelation it was always there but hidden.Does it change that we need discipline in the church that we need rules and guidelines for our actions no we still need those
things. But does it change how we view non believers and even ourselves definitely its not
about sin but its all
about choosing life and living. He also revealed some other interesting
things on salvation so i might mention those on the once saved always saved discussion.Jeremy just want to say i really appreciate your website because i have not really discussed issues like this and it really is making me press in to the Lord for answers to some of those really difficult questions.regards brentnz
I pretty much agreed with most of
what you have said and i think that the sinners prayer has been misused as a get out of Jail free card.A couple of
things that people miss is that God is in charge. As soon as you offer yourself to God and accept Jesus Chris the holy spirit has liberty to work on you.Because he loves us he will discipline us so that we do repent of our sins. The downside of living a walk like that you are a hypocrite until you admit your sinfulness the holy spirit can not help us because of our pride. The second part was you talking
about disciplining the flesh personally you cant discipline that which is corrupt our hearts are deceitfully wicked we need
new hearts no amount of effort on our part will transform our hearts that is the work of the holy spirit he changes our hearts so that we no longer desire to sin we would rather serve the Lord with all our hearts instead.brentnz
You may say Deborah is of the Old Testament,
what about the
New Testament Church?Well, we have Priscilla who taught a man named Apollos.Whether Apollos was taken outside the congregation or whatever (and ofcourse he couldn't be interrupted that way) the point is, a woman together with her husband, taught a man.If this was such a grave
thing, Priscilla could've backed out and left the teaching for her husband alone, instead she does the opposite.
It may not be
what «the
new» mantra for «church» is, but going back to ministry after being away for a time has shown me that to the many that are disenfranchised the «
new» way or the pie in the sky of
what the church should be... is ending up with a lack of loyalty to the cause, a lack of accountability to leaders — move on if you don't like this or that, complain
about whatever and never really commit to the hard
things.
In describing and accounting for the lives of the Religious Right, which we define simply as religious conservatives with a considerable involvement in political activity, the book and the series tell the story primarily by focusing on leading episodes in the movement's history, including, but not limited to, the groundwork laid by Billy Graham in his relationships with presidents and other prominent political leaders; the resistance of evangelical and other Protestants to the candidacy of the Roman Catholic John F. Kennedy; the rise of
what has been called the
New Right out of the ashes of Barry Goldwater's defeat in 1964; a battle over sex education in Anaheim, California, in the mid-1960's; a prolonged cultural war over textbooks in West Virginia in the early 1970's — and that is a battle that has been fought less violently in community after community all over the country; the thrill conservative Christians felt over the election of a «born - again» Christian to the Presidency in 1976 and the subsequent disappointment they experienced when they found out that Jimmy Carter was, of all
things, a Democrat; the rise of the Moral Majority and its infatuation with Ronald Reagan; the difficulty the Religious Right has had in dealing with abortion, homosexuality and AIDS; Pat Robertson's bid for the presidency and his subsequent launching of the Christian Coalition; efforts by Dr. James Dobson and Gary Bauer to win a «civil war of values» by changing the culture at a deeper level than is represented by winning elections; and, finally, by addressing crucial questions
about the appropriate relationship between religion and politics or, as we usually put it, between church and state.
What is the
new thing about the kingdom of God?
I don't think it's so much
about the levites being paid for their service it's
about us doing
what's right toward Pastors that must feed and tend to the flock of GOD if GOD has called them.JESUS even said in luke 10:7 that the laborers are worthy of their wages. In luke 8 1 - 4 it's says even JESUS HIMSELF recieved financial support from the women who ministered to him with their possessions. Now most people today would say he should have been ashamed of taking money from those poor women but JESUS accepted their support and they was blessed for sowing onto the LORD»S work.1 Corinthains 9:1 - 15 says dint muzzle the ox while it tread out the grain was GOD talking
about oxes no he was talking
about those who labor in the ministry.Who goes to war at their own expense.Or who goes to war but pay for their clothes, guns, etc.No one because the goverment if that country provide these
things because of the soilders service.Who plants a vineyard and don't eat from it.Who tends a flock and don't drink the milk of it.I think it's just spiritual sense to support a pastor that's teaching you the word, casting out devils, laying hands and healing is manifesting in people lived, going to hospitails, prisons, and house calls to pray for the sick and shut in, going to graduations and funnerals, praying and fasting for himself and the flock.I think a person who think a pastor shouldn't be paid for their service either don't know they need to be paid and need to be taught or they are demonic in their thinking and either hate GOD, PASTORS, AND GOD»S PEOPLE.Why do nt you hear people saying anything against the dope dealers, strip clubs, dope houses, liquor stores, etc. It's only when people give into the LORD»S work that evil minded or misinformed people have a problem with it.No sir we don't have to use the old testament to show that we should support out pastors. You don't use the law, love tells me to support the pastor.Under the
new testament LOVE is the greatest of all.Love for GOD and man.If GOD asked for 10 percent under the law to support the levites who didn't have all the responsibilities of Pastor today.Church rent, gas for vans of thd church, insurance fir the church and church vehicles, feeding and clothing the poor, light, gas, and water bill, mantience on the church or vehicles, not to mention the Pastor own house, cars, children, insurance, etc.If would be foolish for one to think that a pastor should take care if his house and GODS HOUSE without people supporting the work of the KINGDOM OF GOD.If we love GOD we are going to support HIS KINGDOM and HIS PASTOR.If under the law GOD asked for 10 percent how much should we give under the LOVE COVENANT?Example I love my wife and if I had 300 dollars I would surley give her more that 10 percent which would be 30 dollars because I love her.The law says you must give LOVE says I chose to give because I love GOD and man.Again we don't have to use the law just love and spiritual sense because hate and a carnal senses will not understand. Now I have given you scriptures please do the same when you respond not your opinion. Please respond right away I await your answer.GOD BLESS.
