What's there to
love about life overseas?
«He's an egomaniac devoid of all moral sense» ---- said the society woman dressing for a charity bazaar, who dared not contemplate
what means of self - expression would be left to her and how she would impose her ostentation on her friends, if charity were not the all - excusing virtue ---- said the social worker who had found no aim in
life and could generate no aim from within the sterility of his soul, but basked in virtue and held an unearned respect from all, by grace of his fingers on the wounds of others ---- said the novelist who had nothing to say if the subject of service and sacrifice were to be taken away from him, who sobbed in the hearing of attentive thousands that he
loved them and
loved them and would they please
love him a little in return ---- said the lady columnist who had just bought a country mansion because she wrote so tenderly
about the little people ---- said all the little people who wanted to hear of
love, the great
love, the unfastidious
love, the
love that embraced everything, forgave everything, and permitted everything ---- said every second - hander who could not exist except as a leech on the souls of others.»
That's why I
love marketing, because we get to try and come up with stories
about what we think people are doing and why and then we get to go figure it out in real
life!
My Aunt who was old @ 93 when I asked her
about her
life what did she want to talk
about on her death bed, she talked
about her
love!
I am grateful that God allowed me to witness t his
loving expression, it taught me so much
about how to continue
living my own
life and
what I MUST teach my children.
I suffered a terrible car accident... during 3 weeks I almost died «many times»... Now I can read a beautiful article like this one and agree with it... Believe me... no matter your faith, your fortune or whatever you may be involved with... on the face of death if you are human you will only care
about your
loved ones... you will remember
about the moments you were happy together and dream they happen again... you will remember your childhood like you were 7 again... you will ask forgiveness and try to show your
love, no matter how hard you are... In the face of death we realize that nothing more then our family matters... For the professor, once his
life of arrogance reaches an end, he will then understand
what is the meaning of family...
Since last week, I've been thinking
about how differently my
life and / or the world (all mankind) might have been, had I / we been taught
what has been revealed to me over the last 20 + years and now know in my mind / heart is the truth / gospel for me,
about Father God's
love, character and nature, the death of Jesus and Salvation.
if you want to see Christ start with yourself — You are just as
loved by God as any man of God, open your bible, read it, if you don't understand it look for a community that will help and encourage you in finding out
what our Creator has to say
about you, and your
life.
Through them all we learn finally
what Sukhanov thinks must be the meaning of his
life: «And it was only after twenty - three years of mute crawling through the mud» only after he had felt the smooth taste of betrayal on his lips and the chilly weight of thirty pieces of silver in his sweaty palm, only after he had learned
about the slow fattening of the soul, the anguish of wasted chances, the pain of
love slipping away, the soft, horrifying slide into death» yes, it was only then that the elixir of
life was granted to him and his resurrection assured.»
Not one word
about the man,
what he
loved to do, how he
lived his
life, nothing... just promotion of the catholic church and the lead priest prancing around in his robes with a microphone like a freakin rock star.
The reviewer can tell the reader that in Three Discourses on Imagined Occasions he is to think along with the author
about what it means to seek God, how the «resolution of duty» that ought to be present in marriage transforms romantic
love into
love that conquers everything, and how the awareness of one's mortality, of the certainty of death, of «death's decision» enhances earnestness in
life.
Everything we read in the Bible surely has to absorbed and considered in line with our experience of God — for those of us who have travelled with God for a long time this experience (I hope) bears out a
loving, caring, intimately involved Father whose example in the
life of Jesus is all
about love — tough, body - taking - the - brunt - of - whatever -
life - throws, with the deeper soul fixed to God's promises of
what lies beyond.
To hold that same - sex marriage is part of the fundamental right to marry, or necessary for giving LGBT people the equal protection of the laws, the Court implicitly made a number of other assumptions: that one - flesh union has no distinct value in itself, only the feelings fostered by any kind of consensual sex; that there is nothing special
about knowing the
love of the two people whose union gave you
life, whose bodies gave you yours, so long as you have two sources of care and support; that
what children need is parenting in some disembodied sense, and not mothering and fathering.
That was a very interesting read many comments caught my attention I've recently been diagnosed with Bipolar I have hallucinations and hear voices in my ear's when I hallucinate it's likes they are trying to get me thousands of them I can only describe them as dark shadows and they are trying to get me just as they are
about to get me a brilliant white light surrounds me and there's three entities humanly shaped but like this brilliant white light they are also glowing this brilliant whiteness I can't understand
what they are saying the only way I can explain it is emotions comfort joy
love is
what I feel emanating from these entities the voices I hear aren't evil telling me to do bad things to people when I get put into a mode of fear I
live in a rough area of Scotland and everytime I've got into a fight something possesses me I know this for a fact as I can't control myself I'm an observer watching my family / Friends say I change they say my eyes change and I look evil I personally do think possibly through my own personal experience I» am possessed as I act out of character I've lost interest in many things I've recently I decided it's time for change I've lost my faith I've been trying to connect with God and feel his
love which I used to feel the presence of the holy spirit everytime I try connect I get a feeling of abandonment I just think if I am possessed could these entities stop me connecting with «God» I can say from my heart of hearts «JESUS CHRIST HAS COME IN THE FLESH» I think it's more to do with the persons own personal fears which I have noticed my fears have changed if I had to be truthfully with myself I fear God which I know I'm not supposed to just I can't explain it I guess if you ever need a test subject I'm up for the challenge like I said I'm on journey to find myself and my travels have brought me hear I'm going to hang around for a wee while there's lots of good information to be plundered loll
Early Valentine's morning, I can hear the cutlery in the kitchen, and he's putting away clean dishes and I smile in the bedroom and I feel serenaded by the spooning of spoons and
love isn't so much
about what you give — but that you
live given.
If
what I believe
about Love doesn't find a roost here in my regular and ordinary and unremarkable
life where I learn and practice
what Eugene Peterson called «the biggest nouns and verbs,» then I have no right to those words in moments of transformation and change and importance.
There are so many other views on who /
what God is, and all they can do is attack the most logically inconsistent one (that there's an all - knowing, all - powerful, all -
loving God that personally cares
about every detail of your personal
life).
And I nod — and we will
love all always and
live given always, no matter
what is said or not said, — and always now is the time to speak the whole truth
about the deep worth of God's daughters.
I underlined paragraph after paragraph in Prototype, and at times found myself wondering how someone from such a different background and with such different
life experiences could know exactly
what I'm going through, exactly
what I hope for, exactly
what I worry
about, exactly
what I fear, exactly
what I
love.
I
love the way CS Lewis explained that ``... He (God) sent the human race
what I call good dreams; I mean those queer stories scattered all through the heathen religions
about god who dies and comes to
life again and, by his dead, has somehow given new
life to men.»
What does my
life show that I actually know
about the truth:
Love wins only when love gi
Love wins only when
love gi
love gives.
The Christian
life is not
about tolerance... but truth... The Bible is quite specific
about what sin is... we must
love the sinner but not tolerate the sin... being a Christian requires us to know and speak the truth in
love... tolerance means accepting everything without judgment... we can not do that in this society in the midst of moral decay.
What I
love most
about Kathy's writing is that it is real — representative of a
life spent «in the trenches» of
loving God and
loving people.
If my
live exhibits
love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self - control, people are more likely to doubt
what they've been told
about me.
Therefore a
loving concern
about this problem requires that men and women together try to learn
what new possibilities of the organization of public
life for both sexes there may be.
Of course I was skeptical because of my past and seeing all the people who were either decieved or really didn't care
about really knowing God but saying they did... but seeing the genuine ones that really had had their
lives turned upside down and went through all kinds of hard situations but something was different
about them that made me want the peace and
love they had, that's
what led me to become a Christian.
, but they have only very hazy ideas
about what the Church really says on human dignity, the value of each one of us, the beauty of human
love, the value of authentic family
life, the mutual companionship of men and women.
What I
love about Luther, besides his rather curmudgeonly and down to earth personality, is his emphasis on forgiveness rather than perfection in
life between now and our complete restoration in the fullness of Eternity.
Men — already underrepresented in the Church by some 30 per cent, and who very rarely have to sing anywhere else in
life — must sing
about loving a male figure, traditionally shown wearing
what looks like a dress.
The entire book of 1 John is engaged in this idea
about good and evil, light and darkness, truth and error, and John is intent on showing his readers that based on who God is and
what Jesus has done for all people, we can choose to
live in
love, light, and righteousness, rather than abide in hatred, darkness, and evil.
Do it for the
love of yourself, to search for the truth and nothing but the truth
about what life is all
about.
What does it matter when we die what is important is what we do with our life now.The struggles people find themselves is because of living a sinful lifestyle you cant play with fire and not get burnt there are consequences.Jesus wants to bring forgiveness and healing and remove the guilt and shame that you are feeling.Ive have been there i was just as guilty i do nt believe theres a big screen that replays our life if it is it, it will be about what we have done for God as our sins are covered under the blood of Jesus. The judgement for christians is that we must give an account of what we did for Jesus while we were here did we make the most of opportunities given to tell others to reach out others with his love.Mat 25:14 - 30 the Parable of the talents talks about judgement and for me it is all about what we do for Jesus the ones who are faithfull in the small things are set over much. The one who did nt use his talent that God gave him was punished for his lack of faith. So for those who are struggling with sin and life Jesus loves you and has a plan for your life just trust him to help you and he will.To be fair its wont be easy you will have to make some hard choices but he promises to help you through its all about choosing him over choosing what we think best because he knows whats best for us.Its important the choice you make as it will impact your life for eternity.bre

For example, I can talk to my trans - friends
about Jesus, and how He RESOLVED to
live among the Samaritans for two days; how He RESOLVED to use the Samaritan in His story of
what it means to be
loving towards the wounded — in short, lifestyle and genetics are soooo minor that the hero is the one that shows and engages in compassion.
only reason y i say this is because of Santification, once we give our
life to the Lord, we streight way (so to speak) begin the process of Santification, this is Christ making us like him, and this Is SUFFERING It does nt happen over night, but for the duration of our time here, as you have said, its sort of like sin being done unto us, and we are handleing it just like Christ did, (with
Love) of coarse with the help of the Holy Spirit, This Does NOT feel Good At ALL since our soulful flesh is Corrupt, (but our spirit is saved) This is were your trails and tribulation, your own desire, and All play apart, Now Moment by Moment we choose by our own will, And Jesus helps in these times, as he was tempeted, but without sin, The devil can do nothing but try and decieve the Christian into thinking that he has to work for his salvation as you have said, this thing here is
about your Inheritance In Christ, Its gonna be some show nought broke christian in Heaven, because their trying to set of for themseleve trasure on earth, and their is going to be weeping and gnat of teeth, but it wont be, because of their going to Hell, It will be cause they miss out on
what they could have had, and it is Devistation, cause they waste so much time, and they wont be able to attend the wedding, supper of the lamb, they wont be, getting the position over city, galacy, ectt... just check it out some of the points i have made, God Bless you!
This is to davidnfran hay David you might have brought this up in a previous post I haven't read, but i did read quit a bit
about your previous comments and replies at the beginning of this blog, so I was just wondering in light of
what hebrews 6 and 10 say how would you enterprite passages like romans 8 verses 28 thrue 39
what point could paul have been trying to make in saying thoughs amazing things in romans chapter 8 verses 28 thrue 39 in light of hebrews 6 and 10, Pauls says that god foreknew and also predestined thoughs whom he called to be conformed to the image of his son so that he would be the first born among many brothers and then he goes on saying that neither death nor
life nor angels nor rulers nor things present nor things to come nor powers nor hight nor death can ever separate us from the
love of god in christ jesus so how would i inturprate that in light of that warning in hebrews 6 and 10,
What about: «
Love means
living the way God commanded us to
live.
The problem, Boe, is that
living in a fallen world, we are all too often expected to submit to those who do not know us, do not
love us, do not necessarily know
what they're doing and certainly don't care
about us as if we were their own selves.
Would they say you teach them more
about what it means to
live with purpose and
love well, or would they say you get easily caught up in petty and unimportant matters?
Neville i mentioned those people only because the discussion was talking
about dominionism the combination of the church and state as a governing rule all those people were government leaders all of them suffered in there own way.Its was the suffering that prepared them for the roles that they were to play and there faith in God was
what helped them get through. We are made stronger in our weakness no matter how important or unimportant we may appear to others.I guess it is easy to fall into the lie
about political involvement that its hard to make change but some people have had a huge impact.Really it is God who deserves the praise he is the one that creats the opportunitys to make impact on the world as in our strength we can do nothing. In hebrews the great men and woman of faith there are those that seemed unimportant to the world and many suffered for there faith Our Lord knows everyone by name and every small act of faith we do he remembers because we do it out of our
love for him that is
what the christian walk is
about living for Jesus and sharing that
love with others.brentnz.
I feel like I could
live for the rest of my
life on
what we experienced that day — that, or write a whole «
Love looks like» book
about it!
