Well, I would like to make, thinking some line still taut between me and them, poems direct as
what the birds said, hard as a floor, sound as a
bench, mysterious as the silence when the tailor would pause with his needle in the air.23.
Come to think of it, if not having a proven striker and very rich
bench has been hindering the club from clinching major trophies all these years, sincerely, it baffles me why the club is bent on not trying to risk getting
good and enough players, if not for anything, for the sake of seeing
what would result from taking such step.
And while Ilyasova and Bellineli are, on the margin, improvements on
what we WERE bringing off the
bench, they should not be counted on to carry the mail for extended minutes against
good teams.
in the end nasri, fabregas even robin would still be playing at their
best or close to, had they stayed with us but we know
what happened however where are they trading their skills now?nasri on loan with sevilla, fabregas is warming the
bench on the wrong side of the city, robin is in the turkish league:) short terms they made the right move but long terms they might have one or two regrets i think koss knows
better!!
From
what am hearing it seems OG is proving
what most of us have been saying that his very
good off the
bench or atleast played with a partner.
I'm going to repeat
what I said earlier... this team actively pursued a policy to undermine the relationship between the fans and the
best player on this team... for all intent and purposes this is a traitorous act... so instead of spending money, which all pundits and fans agreed was necessary in order to compete at the highest levels, this club was wasting time and money trying to turn fans against Sanchez long before the end of the season (the real concerted effort started around the time that Wenger
benched him for the start of the Liverpool game)... for a team that pertains to be different, like a FAMILY, and constantly questions the tactics of it's opponents, to engage in such a treasonous act is deplorable
we have no cover for CB at all then, Chambers needs to sit on the
bench and be healthy for covering RB and CB as much as i want to see
what hes like as a DM its too high of a risk to play him there atm, I'd def go for bellerin for RB though hes so fast and has tremendous technical ability, One person i think wenger should of taken to dortmund is diaby just incase hes needed would be nice for diaby to get a
good 60 min game but i do nt think hes ready for CL just yet since he hasnt even featured in the PL yet but then again no harm in taking him since hes been linking up with bellerin pretty
well in the U21's we must remember we have some really
good youngsters in the squad than can fill in some of the spaces.

good manager to to psych - up the players and use the
bench wisely.

better that
what we put out there from our
bench.
@ andrew Maybe,
what i've noticed is that wenger is scared of his own players, players who we want to sign know they are
better than per they do nt want to be
bench for him
What I don't understand is AW taking huge risks by playing young players out of position especially when we have the
best LB in the German league last season on the
bench.
Based on his record to date and
what I have seen though, he's got as
good a shot as anyone else to run with that opportunity and at least make it very difficult to send him back to the
bench.
Coutinho is the real problem for me in that Liverpool team.He can destroy midfield strategies. That's why I worry when I see us with no DMF.Years back (14/15) I remember Coquelin back pocketing Coutinho yet it's likely Wenger will
bench him for no reason. That guy has so much potential if only he's used wisely. He has the abilityto mark players out of a game and intercept many passes.I know many of you will call me stupid and say he's average but imagine if Coquelin was used in a very defensive sense.Being brilliant tactically is all about producing the
best system with the players you have and clearly that's not
what's happening.I already lose hope when I see Kolasinac and Bellerin at WB whsn clearly it doesn't suit them.WB's are so important in a 3 back but clearly we've ignored that.
Parlour, you always knew
what he would bring to a game right till the last minute and i think all
good teams have players like this willing to come off the
bench and put in a shift whether you are hunting a goal or defending won.
His lack of making substitutions at
good times in a game in order to give chance to all the players also puzzles me,

what you're trying to say, Do we
bench Carzola because you believe that he wont play

best players)?

bench so I'll stick to that an keep the emotional crap that someone needs «minutes» over
what's
best for the team.
It's a disgrace we leave our
best player on the
bench for a crucial game to the one thing we always get — the top 4 trophy, but you know
what?
In the midfield, (including RWB & LWB) we have a whole bunch of tweeners... none offer the full package, none make sense in our manager's current favourite formation, except for Sead on the left and Ox on the right, and all of them have never shown any consistency for more than a heartbeat... Sead, who I'm including in this category because of our present formation, looks like a positive addition, minus his occasional brain farts, but I would rather see
what he could do in a back 4 before making my mind up... Ox, who has never played
better, which isn't saying much considering his largely underwhelming play in previous seasons, seems to have found a home in this new formation; unfortunately, can we really expect this oft - injured player to handle the taxing duties that come with said position over the long haul, not to mention, it looks like he has no intention of staying... Ramsey has relied on the empathy that stems from his gruesome injury years ago and the excitement that was generated a few years back when he finally seemed to put in altogether, but on the whole he has been a big disappointment (neither he nor the Ox have scored enough to warrant a regular spot)... Wiltshire should be put on a weekly contract then played until he suffers his first injury, if and when that occurs he should be shipped - out and no one should very be allowed to say his name on club grounds ever again... Elnehy & Coq are average players who couldn't make any of the top 7 teams currently in the EPL... both have showed some great energy on the pitch, but neither are top quality and no
good team can afford to have that many average players on their
bench playing the same position, especially with Coq's injury history / discipline concerns and Elheny's headless chicken tendencies... as for Xhaka, his tenure here so far has been incredibly underwhelming... we know he has some skills to provide the long ball but his defensive work is piss poor and he gives the ball away too cheaply and far too often... finally, the enigma himself, Ozil, so much skill with his left foot but his presence has been more frustrating than uplifting... in many respects his failure has been directly related to the failure of this club to provide him with the necessary players up front, minus Sanchez of course, and unless something drastic happens very soon his legacy will be largely a negative one (much like Wenger's)
OT: Looking @ our team I think we need one
good attacker more especially on that right wing, not necessarily a striker as walcott and sanchez can play there, as in someone like Pedro... If we use our
best line up up front which Sanchez, Giroud and Walcott, then imagine
what we will have on the
bench offensively..
Maybe some rest would do
good for him but as for Ox his mostly on the
bench so I don't know
what his story is.
Im not blaming the players for anything because #aw controls the team & if he can't see
whats going on with jack holding onto the ball to long
well hes fackin blind, how come #sanchez got
bench because he said he slows down the team & he holds on to the ball & thats exactly the same ting jack does so im not blaming the players I blame #aw & by the way #FACK AW do nt care if I get the thumbs down
i bet some of
what we see is bc the players are dispirited bc wenger's playing his first XI into the ground while the
bench gets mad at not getting played: that cant be
good for morale.
this is
what can really make our season when you know sanchez will leave for free next season why pay his wages sell him to psg and build a team which can stay here for years give psg sanchez and 30 million and get draxler verati krychowiak even auriar if a deal falls through when you want to win league you sould have a big squad with
good players on
bench look at city manu and chelsea they all have
good players we need these 4 players there is no player other then ozil who can create a goal for stricker or play a killer pass niether bellerin or oxlade can not play a
good threatning ball when striker is in the box if we get them
I keep telling people sometimes its not even abt the score lines its the manner in which we lose this games, players shouldn't be given 10 yrs to show they are
good, now Lucas doesn't even make the
bench no matter
what he does, ozil will never be
benched even if he strolls on the pitch an AM that can't pull the trigger only silky passes, Walcott a winger that can't dribble why does one club have so many flops?
Guess we've figured out why Arsenal haven't bought someone in the middle, Ramsey has to play no matter
what and where, Wilshere will have to play no matter
what or where, if I were Ox I'll be catching my head and wondering
what the hell is going on, if I were Walcott I'll be smiling because if he's gonna pay me 140k per week to sit on the
bench ooh
well.

better than
what we have in our
bench @ d moment..

bench like
what we saw in Liverpool game and being play out of position, he deserved to play 90 minutes for him to adapt, this guy is prolific, he will do
better than morata but time shall tell..
we need him as he is
better version of
what we have in the
bench..
At Arsenal, being the manager, Wenger decides which player is
good enough to be bought, which player is

benched»,
what tactics (formation and style of play) to use, when to bring on or take off a player (substitutions) during games, etc..

bench for Liverpool match....

what happened to perez, fabiaski, lacazette, kolasinac, he was
better before he came to arsenal and wenger start keeping him on the
bench for cech
Shortly after the
good start Arsenal became exactly
what we expect nowadays... Naïve defending, lots of sloppy passing, too much sideways & backward passing, weak pressing, losing the midfield battle, no leaders on the pitch, no teeth, no ideas from the
bench...
Bench, who often is heard on the airwaves around Cincinnati using the handle Sidewinder, suggested that he might bring his own CB to succeeding games, tune Martin in and inquire of his «
good buddy»
what traffic conditions were like around second base.
And it is obvious that Wenger has favorite players, he played them no matter
what their form is like Ozil, Whilsher, Ramsey, Schez, Mert.He is not going to drop them no matter how they have played. Its not because they are
good but because they are his favorite players. But when the likes of Podolski and Rosicky showed a great performance they will be
benched the next game.
One second you're
well - actuallying a bandwagon fan about why Andre Iguodala is a
good player even if he shoots free throws like a trained dolphin, where hitting the rim is an accomplishment
what with the flippers and all, and the next minute that bandwagon fan is using PER in an argument about why someone should be
benched.
Your comments are very naive and idiotic.Even if he had a limited budget at that time it's not as if every player would cost him a fortune. Also it's not about the limited budget that makes him support his players to perform. It's his philiosophy.Even till this day he tends to support and persist with his players to bring out the
best in them.If you think I don't know
what am saying wait till they get fit.On Giroud if we are to be honest he should have been dropped long ago even in his second season. It was never rocket science to know that the guy ws not starter quality.Tell me which team would have persisted with Giroud as a starter more than Arsenal. He failed long ago and was really really
benched like just last season. As for Szcz Wenger also did persist with him during the times he still wasn't performing.I hope people won't deny this.He persisted till he could take no more of it.That was the reason why he brought Ospina into the starting 11.
The photos of him laughing on the
bench did it for me,
well out of order
what ever he feels about arsenal and his team mates now.
NOW
what makes it different this year is that seems WENGER lost control of some of his players unfortunately seems that from our
best player, finally some factions inside the team got fed up with the complacency WENGER shows to his favorites and blatantly leaving in form players rot in the
bench and eventually some of them given permanently in loan (Campbell), citing Campbell, every little opportunity he got he showed more desire than most of our regulars never mind he is a
good footballer....
Wenger will never
bench ozil unless if he is injured as soon as Ramsey comes back he goes straight into the XI no matter

better part of 6 months it would make little sense to me that

bench are his distribution skills which seem to have improved since he came here from Empoli, a team that played the ball
better than we do.
«I believe in every game...

bench of the team you play against, and when you look at the teams in the second part of the table and you look at their
benches, it indicates that you will have tough games.
Can he take that chance and prove to the boss and us fans that he has
what it takes to be an Arsenal first team player, or at least a
good option to have on the
bench?
@NY Gunner, let me break it down for you.Chambers is not world class, he was not even on the 1st 11 of south Hampton, Debuchy was never a starter for France until Sagna became old, Cambell was unknown untill World cup, Gibbs not even a starter in England national squad, Flamini, Cocklin and Diaby (i do nt have
what to say), Arteta has never even played for spain, our
best goal keeper was not a starter for Poland until Wenger started to
bench Fambiasky just to make the other look
good, Koshienly is
good though.
what bothers me even more is that wengr had the guts to let bellerin play RB over Chambers (and chambers is on the
bench), but ended up not resolute enough to altogether get rid of arteta and op for chambers playing DM as
well.
As
well, Wenger has been so biased selecting the team atimes, we should expect a player to for once deliver since we're paying them to do so but
what is needed in all teams is constant display of brilliancy by the crop of players, and if there is a player not consistent, he should learn from the
bench, that alone will give urge for improvement as it is the biggest room in our life, and competitiveness.
ks not sure
what you got thumbed down for i think wilshire does seem to play
better coming from a deeper postion and rotating the players more i think we all agree thats been a problem for us for quite a while the left wing can be sorted aslong as we use the right players wich we seem to have sitting on the
bench most of the time,,, i really hope wenger goes in for a top defencive player in january and as he normally dosent do alot in the winter maybe someone who can cover cb / cdm
