It reminds me of the MegaReader, an app for the iPhone that uses the
phone's
camera to show
what's in front of you as you're walking
on the background of the screen.
Unfortunately, the
camera itself was a bit disappointing compared to
what they offer
on phones.
What we were most impressed with was the beauty mode
on the front facing
camera, anyone looking for a strong selfie
phone with uncompromising performance and a feature - packed operating system need not look any further.
A dedicated
camera button is
on - board as well; it's not clear
what OS the
phone will run, but it will likely be Android 5.0 Lollipop, hopefully with an option to switch between Lenovo's skinned version and stock Android as was found
on the Vibe Z2 Pro.
It matches
what appears to be an impressive
camera on the new
phone, and is an easy way for the company to immediately differentiate itself from the competition.
Do nt care how much the droid sells its inferior to every other high end android
phone so stupid verizon for not trying to get super high end
phones, incredible is not so incredible,

camera without hd recording and the same messed up amoled display at the nexus one... damn verizon, i might go to sprint now but i reallly want super amoled and a

on the patchy deck, with pics from my
phone, I couldn't stomach getting the big girl's
camera on this one yet... I realised that it's been a while since I've showed you
what's been going
on out here and I have had a few reader questions
on this and how it's been going.

Does the biggest threat from

phone abuse have more to do with

On the back is a dual

LG billed the V30 as a major leap forward in imaging,

What's with the
camera on the Essential
phone?
While its 5.3 - inch screen, basic design and mediocre
cameras don't quite match
what you get
on other $ 200
phones, the X power's epic battery life is can't be denied.
It also works with Alexa, so if you have an Echo Show, you can ask Alexa to show you the
camera for instant live viewing of
what's going
on at your door when your
phone's not nearby.
Other spec improvements are in store, but Kuo specifically reinforces
what won't be redone: the TrueDepth
camera that makes Face ID and Animoji possible and that this feature will be available in its original form
on all
phones, including a third model with a more affordable LCD panel.
However, Apple also needed to find a way to include its earpiece and front - facing
camera on the
phone, reportedly opting for
what's become known as the notch — a black area at the top that will house those features.
What's interesting here is that the Pixel 2 has only the one
camera on the back, and still offers the Portrait mode which - in most
phones - uses two
cameras.
While we've had our eye
on improvements to the imaging systems of smartphones,
what about approaching the creation of
phone /
camera hybrid from the other side?
Yes, we have seen dual front
cameras on a
phone before (the Lenovo Vibe S1), but whereas that arrangement was at a more budget - friendly level, Vivo have tried to take selfie - snapping to another level with the V5 Plus (read our review of
what we call Ye Selfie Supremo).
You get
what's, in my opinion, the best smart
phone camera on the market.
Now you can type into Assistant
on your
phone and it will be able to converse with you about
what you show it through Google Lens» eye (the
camera), such as helping you with translations.
In fairness, I'm used to the
cameras on phones like the Galaxy S8 that have a tendency to oversaturate, so I may just be having a visceral reaction to something that's just different, not worse, than
what I'm used to — but most Android users are used to Samsung's oversaturated photos too, so they'll likely have a similar experience.
It essentially lets you point your
phone's
camera at a flower, and it will tell you
what type of plant it is, or you could point it at a restaurant, and
on your screen you'd see reviews.
Today, Logitech (SIX: LOGN)(NASDAQ: LOGI) announced Circle 2 home security
cameras now work with the Google Assistant
on smart speakers like Google Home, eligible Android
phones and iPhones, so you can easily ask to watch live video of
what's happening in and around your home.
It's not bad, it just feels like a
phone experience instead of a
camera experience — which is
what you get
on the G6.
It features minimal bezels
on the front of the
phone and vertically aligned
camera lenses

One of the reasons they are
on our best
camera phones list is that Sony has put in
what it calls Sony Motion Eye technology in the Xperia XZ1 and Xperia XZ1 Compact.
Unless you absolutely must experience Android games
on a 120Hz display, I'd recommend you wait and see
what the first few rounds of software updates do for the
phone's
camera before parting with your cash.
While we already knew much about the new
phones, Samsung's presentation officially filled us in
on what to expect from the S9's
cameras, including dual aperture, two
cameras, and super slo - mo.
While Samsung did make a number of upgrades to its
camera hardware, don't expect the latest flagship to have a facial identification feature that matches
what you find
on the iPhone X. With Samsung's new Intelligent Scan feature you can unlock your
phone using iris and facial data.
Those who are comparing it to Meizu, please compare the
cameras on both devices and the price will fall soon like xperia m4 and
what do you expect to get more in this
phone?
What Samsung does best is create a robust, yet simple - to - operate
camera app we find better than the one
on the iPhone or any other
phone.
While the material used in the prototype's back isn't indicative of
what LG is reportedly going to use — GSMArena notes the
phone will have a metal unibody construction — the placement of the
phone's dual
cameras and the fingerprint looks pretty much
on point when placed next to alleged G6 cases that were leaked recently, giving an idea
on what the
phone will end up looking.
Easily, the
cameras on these new
phones will be
what sets them apart for most users.
Essentially, that's
what's happening here, too — the modder has put that back -
camera - software process into place for
cameras on other
phones.
While there is no evidence to prove Samsung is indeed reluctant to bring its dual -
camera technology to its established flagship
phones, it is understandable why the company is seriously contemplating
what to include and not include
on its Galaxy Note 8 phablet.
What is really interesting here is the ƒ / 1.7 aperture
on the rear
camera that makes this
phone one of the best performers when it comes to low light.
I'd happily carry a Lumia 1020 with me in my bag everywhere I go, just in case I needed a decent
camera — but as my day - to - day smartphone, for someone who knows
what a smartphone can do, it's just a little too restrictive, both in terms of options and apps - which is a shame because it truly is the best
camera you'll find
on a
phone today.
Our last trial, a selfie of yours truly, shows that the 8 - MP front shooters
on both
phones mostly emulate
what we observed from the rear
cameras.
