Bodily food does not defile a man: what does defile him is
what comes from his heart and finds expression through his mouth.
Yet,
what comes from our heart is the truth concerning our reality, despite what may come out of our mouths.

But I was just amazed by how everyone, young and old wanted to be involved... and was so deeply enriched and touched by the experience and the laughter and the love I experienced
from the people I met and how women would in particular open their
hearts to me and tell me the stories of where they've
come from, particularly because I have the language and was
coming there as a woman and just how touched they were that I was there as a woman
from England who's learned the language and who's an artist and running this project and
come all the way to see them so they didn't feel forgotten I think that was pretty much
what they felt... that their stories were being heard so they don't feel forgotten knowing the tents would be around the world.

But until we
come to the end of ourselves then we are going to do and say
what we want, even as it was with me: It's one thing to be a heathen, even as I was, but a whole other ball game to set our
hearts on God and His truth; yet, that can only
come when we are sick and tired of being sick and tired of our own lives and we just give up, we know then who has given up by the one they advocate for, even has given place to: Paul said; with my
heart I want to do
what is right, but my flesh does
what I hate: This is when God's grace is sufficient, because our
hearts are right with God, but our flesh is not: There is a war going on within these temples, therefore; even as our flesh wins out to do
what we hate, our
hearts are set on God and His ways which has been established in the Word of Truth, which then causes us to stand and speak forth
what we believe, even as this causes a rending to happen within us, for Christ to be formed in us this needs to be, as we
come up in His glories even for a better resurrection for them who believe: The
heart wars against our flesh, even as Christ wars against the man of sin within: For out of the abundance of our
hearts our mouth doth speak, therefore; if we speak not the Wholesome Words of our Lord, Then our
hearts are still wicked: But to advocate for wickedness instead of Christ, one has become a teacher of lawlessness, he then advocates for the man of sin: Many who have
come out of religion has done this, as they went
from one mountain top «
from the extreme right» of self exaltation (Religion) to the other mountain top «to the extreme left» of the (Heathen) and missed the valley in - between that is takes to humble us: One extreme to the other, and missed Jesus: Jesus is taking ones through the valley's to strip us down of all who we are before exalting us to be just as He, even as the Christ in us overcomes that man of sin (Adam) through theses valleys of contrast that cause a rending to happen within; and when we are rent in two, we stand on His word of truth, so we too can become one with Him, even as Jesus is with our Father: This is how Christ is formed in us: Thank - you Father; in Jesus Name Alexandria

That was a very interesting read many comments caught my attention I've recently been diagnosed with Bipolar I have hallucinations and hear voices in my ear's when I hallucinate it's likes they are trying to get me thousands of them I can only describe them as dark shadows and they are trying to get me just as they are about to get me a brilliant white light surrounds me and there's three entities humanly shaped but like this brilliant white light they are also glowing this brilliant whiteness I can't understand
what they are saying the only way I can explain it is emotions comfort joy love is
what I feel emanating
from these entities the voices I hear aren't evil telling me to do bad things to people when I get put into a mode of fear I live in a rough area of Scotland and everytime I've got into a fight something possesses me I know this for a fact as I can't control myself I'm an observer watching my family / Friends say I change they say my eyes change and I look evil I personally do think possibly through my own personal experience I» am possessed as I act out of character I've lost interest in many things I've recently I decided it's time for change I've lost my faith I've been trying to connect with God and feel his love which I used to feel the presence of the holy spirit everytime I try connect I get a feeling of abandonment I just think if I am possessed could these entities stop me connecting with «God» I can say
from my
heart of
hearts «JESUS CHRIST HAS
COME IN THE FLESH» I think it's more to do with the persons own personal fears which I have noticed my fears have changed if I had to be truthfully with myself I fear God which I know I'm not supposed to just I can't explain it I guess if you ever need a test subject I'm up for the challenge like I said I'm on journey to find myself and my travels have brought me hear I'm going to hang around for a wee while there's lots of good information to be plundered loll

what God is teaching us through the parable is revealing the intents of our
hearts there sinful. The younger son wanted the worldly pleasures that was where his
heart was at at least he is honest. The older brothers
heart was no better because it was all about him it wasnt out of love for his father that he stayed on the farm but that by his works he would gain all that his father had.If he loved his father he would have known how his father would have responded to his brother and he himself would also have been happy to have seen his brother alive again. In the back of his mind he is worried that he may lose more of his inheritance and feels threatened and that is why he responds in the way he does. His
heart hasnt changed at all even though his brother has

Today as i was thinking about Jesus sending the demons into the pigs and i thought God is not punishing but judging and he made a decision. This idea
came from your other discussion which i believe is
what he does he decides to make a judgement call he is sovereign and it shows his tender
heart and mercy that not a single person was afflicted. The pigs unlike men have no soul so have no eternal consequence upon them they live and they die.either way they were going to get killed. We can be assured that Gods judgements are right and just the pork was going to the gentile nations who worshipped other Gods and no doubt would have been offered to idols so there is a consequence when we disobey the Laws of God even even when we do nt know or understand his laws.brentnz
Jesus told us in Mark 7:14 - 23
what will defile the man, not things that you take into the body, but the things that
come from within, out of the
heart, evil things such as hate for others around us, prejudice, unforgiveness, meanness, pride, lying, wanting to have
what belongs to others, all those unloving things that
come from out of the
heart.
Come on get real samson old testement its in there wilful sin my definition is walking away
from the Lord and doing opur own thing knowing
what you should do but still do
what you want to do.In the life of Samson WE SEE Gods forgiveness and the sacrifice is the same as today repentence we are saved by the grace of God if we turn
from our own way.He was disobedient to his parents and to the Lord his
heart was no different
from ours wilfully disobedient he chose sin over the Lord all the time sleeping with prostites and lying with foreign woman going his own way and yet God saves him not only that he was Gods chosen instrument to deliver his people. The sad part is his term was only 20 years if he had walking in the ways of the Lord he should have had that ministry for 40 years that is the term of completion. We cut ourselves short when we choose sin over the Lord which is an idol by the way.We all have those areas in our lives that we keep to ourselves thats wilful they are our demons and our comforters.Until we surrender all to the Lord we can not be overcomers and will be influenced by satan like samson it is clear warning to us wilful sin or making sin an idol in our lives has consequences better to serve the Lord with all our
hearts even though samson did nt for much of his life God still showed him his grace and faithfullness. You can also see wilful sin in the Life of David yet God saves him but not all were saved in the life of saul as he wouldnt listen to the Lord and kept walking according to his flesh.
You seem to have highlighted particular sins as though some are worse than others all sin leads to death not just the big ones because we all are sinners. All have gone astray none are righteous.I believe the worst sin is pride idolatry is the first commandment we set ourselves as Gods.Regardless of
what the sin is, our
hearts are condemned by our pride. It wasnt the sin of homosexuality or sexual deviance that destroyed sodom. It was there pride and it is one of our biggest stumbling blocks in our christian walk or it certainly was for me.We look at the story of the adulterous woman and we think adultery is a terrible crime but the story is for our benefit to show that we all are sinners that Jesus does nt condemn us but
came to save us.And when Jesus says go and sin no more he was not only talking to the woman but everyone else that was around judging her for her sin its a universal message that we all need to see that we all are condemned because of our sin that Jesus
came to save us and that we turn
from our sin and follow him.Because he is the way the truth and the life.brentnz
Acknowledging that the American system of advanced learning, with its openness, diversity, freedom
from suffocating ideology and unmatched vitality, is the envy of the world, Boyer, through extensive research, nevertheless confirms
what every informed observer already knows: «the undergraduate college, the very
heart of higher learning, is a troubled institution» (p. 2) One's first thought is, Here
comes ammunition for the next barrage by William Bennett!
Tommy God has already forgiven you for your sin the moment you asked Jesus into your life and confessed him as Lord.
From that point he paid for your sin in full past present future. It is not sin that stops us
from being with the Lord so you are saved. The problem you are experiencing is the battle for your life in the here and now satan is out to destroy you and he knows our weaknesses. If you are honest there were already issues in your life that you struggled with and never got the victory over.So where do you go
from here as i found myself in the same situation i was a christian but walking according to the flesh.God does nt change his mind he always loves us but because of our choices we distance ourselves
from God.The issue is that we like sin thats our wicked
hearts and to be fair we cant change our nature only Christ can do that our old nature must be crucified with Christ. The stumbling block is our pride we have to admit that we cant do it For me that was terribly difficult i was so independent thinking i could do anything but the truth was a made a real mess of things.I sense you are at a crossroads and are feeling desperate and confused. So as a brother in the Lord you need to confess your sin to God and tell him that you are weak -LCB- we all are -RCB- and that you cant do it in your strength -LCB- None of us can -RCB- but ask him to send the holy spirit to help you deal with the temptations and the sin that you struggle with and he will help you to change your life he will empower you as he did me.Rather than look at who you are look to Christ and walk in him and he will make you a new man and sin will not have dominion over you.Jesus
came to set us free
from bondage.Having once been a slave to sin i know
what it is like to have been set free by the power of God and that is
what Christ is offering you today. All it takes is a desire to change or repent and admit we cant do it and trust him to give you the strength to walk in him regards brentnz
Rick the more i think about it we are to live as overcomers not strugglers since the day i decided to turn away
from the sin that was controlling my life i never fell back into old sinful patterns not once, was i tempted many many times. The Lord will work in our lives one area at a time he needs us to give him full control so if an area is taking control we do need to hand it to him so he can change us.How do we do it immediately we say Lord you know i am weak but in you i am strong i leaned on him and overcame time and time again. We all have areas of weakness that we struggle in so do nt feel bad.Struggling is us trying to do it in our own strength before this process i was so stubborn i refused to let God help me i wanted to do it in my own strength and so it was a roller coaster ride in my christian walk if the day went well i was on a high if it did nt i would would be down. Not any more now when things do nt go to plan i still thank the Lord and when it goes well i thank the Lord.Because i know that all things work for good to those who love the Lord. The main area he is wanting is our
hearts he wants all our
heart not only some until we
come to that place we will continue to struggle in our faith. The only reason to tell you this is not to boast because of
what i have done in myself because i have nothing to boast about but if i did i would brag that Christ has empowered me by his holy spirit to be an overcomer just as he would want you to be.As Christians we are all called to be overcomers more than conquerers.Make a decision today to turn all your
hearts to the Lord to acknowledge the areas you are holding onto that are controlling your flesh life hand them to the Lord and walk according to the spirit and not the flesh and he will give you the victory. That can be a reality starting today merry christmas everyone and may the new year be an exciting one as we put all our trust in Christ our Lord and savior.Brentnz

The mark of the beast is spiritual, and identical to the pledged of allegiance to the flag, because worshipping doesn't
come from a chip, or any technology device, although we are surrounded by human devices... The name of the beast is going to be written in the
heart, or in the mind on those who worship the beast, because worshipping is of the
heart, or of the mind... When the Germans used their right hand to pledge allegiance to the flag, or to Hitler, there was no physical mark in the right hand, or forehead of the German pledger, because the pledge of allegiance to the flag, or to Hitler, was written in the
heart, or in the mind of the German pledger... When the US uses their right hand to pledge allegiance to the flag, there is no physical mark in the right hand, or on the forehead of the pledger, because the pledge of allegiance to the flag, is written in the
heart, or in the mind of the pledger... The devil uses Romans 13 to deceive those who are pledging allegiance to the flag, because they do not believe
what God said in Ex.20: 1 - 5, and De.4: 15 - 19... When a person pledges allegiance to a man, or to a flag, or to a nation, they are heading for destruction, because God said; «cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and make flesh his arm, and whose
heart departeth
from the LORD Jer.17: 5 KJV... Whatever happened to the Germans who trusted in Hitler, or on their military power?
Tim i found it liberating to just do
what the Lord wants you to do i work within his boundarys and yes i attend church and enjoy it.I love the people and i love hearing the word and worshipping the Lord even if others are still bound up with traditions thats not my walk thats theres. My focus is to do
what the Lord wants me to do.There have been times i have said no to the pastor he does nt understand why i choose not to lead the worship.i query him as well regarding the idea that its not just performing a function because there is a need our
hearts have to be in the right place so that the Lord can use us but he did nt understand where i was
coming from and thats okay because of that i just said no until my
heart is right i am better not being involved in leading. But i am happy to be an encouragement to others in the worship team i havent wanted to be the leader i have done that in the past.So my focus has been just the singing and being part of different worship teams i think the Lord has other plans as the groups i am in seem to be changing at the same time i am aware that i do nt to worry about change as the Lord knows
whats best.I used to be quite comfortable leading the music but that was before when i was operating in my own self confidence and pride. The Lord did such a huge change in my life that i lost my self confidence and that is not a bad thing at all as my spiritual growth has been incredible. The big change was my identity moved
from me and
what i could do to knowing who i was in Christ and that he is my strength and confidence. Now i know that without him i can do nothing in fact i am dependent on his empowerment through his holy spirit all the time in everything. In the weekend i was asked to lead the music at another church i attend multiple churchs although i attend two regularly one has services in the morning and one has services in the evening so the two do nt really clash. In the weekend i was asked to lead the music its been two years since i did that and i was worried on how i would go.All i can say is that it went really well and because i stepped out in Faith the Lord really blessed the morning to the congregation. The difference is knowing that i serve the Lord with the gifts he has given me but my
heart has to be right and when i do it in his way it builds up the body and it brings glory to him.May the Lord continue to show you
what he wants you to do even though others may not understand your reasons i just want you to know that you do nt have to pull away completely just work within the boundarys that the Lord gives you and do nt feel pressured by others expectations to do anything that feel uncomfortable.Be involved just as you feel lead by the holy spirit even if it is in a very minor way take small steps.regards brentnz
Who better than he knew
what base things can
come from the black depths of the human
heart, dealing as he did with extortioners and prostitutes, the cruelty of the strong and the bigotry of the religious, and feeling over all the tyranny of a vast military empire?
Jefferson in his many words is todays paul by basically testifying to a lost society by preaching «The
heart «that is
what God wants not the shell which will rott away.I can stand with this truth until the day I die because I also have had disagreements in my church about this same topic.I dispise religion and encourage salvation which
come from having a relationship with Jesus. Many may ask how do i have a relationship with him?by simply asking God through prayer, not
what we know as pray but simply given up and telling God he win. That is
what being righteous means saying «lord your're right and i will believe and obey that.Last i will like to thank jefferson for this clip, becuase for so long I have been feeling like todays churches in not like the first churches. They are stuck into their four cornered walls preaching to those who already obtain the word and people who already think they are perfect, but
what about the weak and the sinners who we are suppose to love, go after, preach to, help and deliver the same way as Christ camed for the sinners so do we also be like him.Jefferson basically telling all us young people and old no matter who have suffered in the world, the church, or no matter
what party or the past that there is hope and «God wants that person» not the sin but the person.Jefferson wants us to know that God can become personal with us and we do exist or can exist in the christian world not because we are perfect but because «he is perfect and he saw our broken spirits and rescued us!

Gary; we become the words we speak, therefore to reject the words that
comes forth out of my
heart, is to reject me: How can you separate the two: Are you to say to Jesus: O we love you Jesus, but not
what you preach: Jesus said; if you love me you would do
what I say: We would heed to His words and not depart
from them: Jesus is the Word of God become flesh, how can you separate us who are also grafted into His Word by the Holy Spirit: Now to also separate us
from the one that man also said was a lunatic (Jesus) because of His words: Truly, this is
what it means to have Christ form in us, and that is why we now are not received by those of this world: Thank - you Gary, In Jesus name Alexandria:
Gil you have asked some very good questions why does bad things happen in the world i personally do nt know God did nt explain to Job either why he had to suffer.
What i do know is that God desires that none of us should perish but that all would have eternal life in him through Jesus Christ. This world will one day pass away and the real world will be reborn so our focus as christians is on
whats to
come and being a witness in the here and now. Both good and bad happens to either the righteous or the sinner so
what are we to make of that.
What we do know is that God will set all things right at the appointed time the wicked will be judged and the righteous will be rewarded for there faith isnt that enough reason for us to believe.Free will is only a reality if we can choose between good and bad but our
hearts are deceitfully wicked we naturally are inclined toward sin that is another reason whyt we need to be saved
from ourselves so
what are we to do.For me Christ died and rose again that is a fact witnessed by over 500 people that were alive at the time and was recorded by historians how many other religious leaders do you know that did that or did the miracles that Jesus did.As far as the bible is concerned much of the archelogical evidence has proven to be correct and many of prophetic words spoken many hundreds of years ago have
come to pass including both the birth and the death of Jesus.Interested in
what philosophy you are believing in if other than a faith in Jesus Christ so how does that philosophy give you the assurance that you are saved. Its really simple with christianity we just have to believe in Jesus Christ.brentnz
Jeremy good message and quite relevant for today God is still looking at our
hearts and motives for serving him or are we serving our own agenda as Jonah was.He did nt feel compassionate towards his enemies and who could blame him they had cruelly killed many Jews it was a question of life or death to his own people. The Jewish nation was no more deserving of Gods grace than the other nations that is revealed by sending Jonah to preach a message of hope and life.Ultimately God calls all by faith in him and is willing to be merciful to all nations and peoples that do not not deserve it just like us it is by grace that we all are forgiven.I am pleased that God is sovereign and knows
whats best he is merciful to us.Our human nature is that it is better to kill our enemies before they can kill us and that is essentially Jonahs message that is why he struggled to be obedient to Gods will.Gods message is to forgive those that trespass against us and show mercy. Its complicated and it is natural to protect ourselves and our families
from those who would seek to destroy them but ultimately its about trusting God with everything easier said than done.If it
comes to a choice we will have to trust God and ask for his strength because we cant do it in ours.As Christ laid down his life for us are we ready to lay our lives and the lives of our families as a sacrifice for him.To me that is where the story of Jonah is leading to we have the choice to fight our enemies or to love them as God loves them.brentnz

Art, and certainly musical art, may have a special religious calling, because it tends to

what Beethoven said of his Missa Solemnis.
Martin it is not by works that we are saved but by grace that none should boast.Works do not get us us closer to God but good works
come from a
heart that loves God and desires to please him.John 3:16 is clear if we believe in Jesus Christ we shall have eternal life it is based not on
what we do or have done but by the grace of God that has been poured out upon us because of Jesus Christ.God always gives us assurances or promises the condition to receive eternal life is to believe in Jesus Christ as the one who has saved
from our sin.Personally i believe that the continued walk will determine our reward
from the Lord again its not based on our effort but a trust or faith in God.This does not effect the gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ.
