From our perspective, the financial sector side, in
what sense does climate
change pose new or
different risks to the financial system, all the way from the obvious, such as the concept of stranded assets, which you've got lending all against those things?
What makes climate
change different, they say, is that there are five new variables: uncertain and fragmented environmental legislation and regulations; the reactions of capital and insurance markets to emerging business opportunities (and matching risks) posed by climate
change; stakeholder activism; pending litigation and the rapidly evolving scientific debate over proper responses to climate
change.
But hiring at a big corporation is much
different from
what startups really need because of the constant
change and unknown variables.
Reason I ask is, you told me you were «pretty happy» with your current provider — and that is a lot
different than saying «we're crushing it with our current provider and I don't see any reason to
change» — which is
what DiscoverOrg's clients say, judging by our incredibly high retention rate.
Demonstrators and organizers posed
different theories about
what had
changed since then.
Unlike software, you can't AB test your pricing and
change it for
different customers, which means your product has one price and everyone wants to know
what it is.

Realism and anti-realism contain fundamentally
different understandings about
what is knowable and

As the curtain rises on Election Year 2012, the Catholic Church in the United States finds itself undergoing historic

to Jake, in every era or times in the past, humans have
different perception of reality, because our knowledge improves or
changes toward sophistication, For example during the times of Jesus, there was no science yet as
what we have today, since the religion in the past corresponds to their needs, it is true for them in the past, but today we already knew many new ideas and facts, so
what is applicable in the past is no longer today, like religion, we have also to
change to conform with todays knowledge. The creation or our origin for example is now explained beyond doubt by science as the big bang and evolution is the reason we become humans, is in contrast to creation in the bibles genesis,.
everything is made up of atoms (don't believe me do some research) its the
different variables of heat and light and things like that that cause
different reactions to make
different things and these things when they interact can create something completely
different and you and slowly the process of mitosis or miosis starts to work and form stuff hell i learnt that in high school and it was a catholic one at that a millions of years ago i bet the universe was completely
different and had things in it that our minds cant even imagine that have since
changed over time from action and reaction to
what we have today and in another million years who knows with all the
different gases we pump into the air and the weather getting more intense on both ends of the scale life as we know it will be
different the human race will have to evolve to survive and will probibly form into a slightly
different species hell maybe well evolve into 2
different species like in the movie time machine
Steven thanks for your testimony I agree with your view that homosexuality is not an orientation we are not born that way but its a choice. We can choose to live by
what our flesh dictates or we can live by
what God reveals through his word and by his holy spirit. If we are serious about following God we chose to follow him so it does nt matter whether gay or straight our choice is to follow God with all our heart.I have never been gay but have battled and was overcome by my fleshly desires not until i turned from them and asked the holy spirit to help me have i been
changed for that i will always be grateful to the Lord.So in that sense we are no
different our testimonys are important and are powerful.Thank you for your witness and may the Lord continue to use you as his vessel to touch lives and hearts for him.brentnz
And there has also been a necessity resulting from the freedom of historical decision, and which remains even when the situation and the freedom have
changed into something quite
different from
what they were at the time.
If the election results are substantially
different than
what the alphabet national networks have been telling us, then we know Obama has promised
change and delivered to us a socialist - totalitarian police state where the media and journalists are under the complete control and financing of the White House.
Science however tells us a
different story, one with facts and data and research that shows that we are born gay and no amount of prayer will
change what gender we are attracted to.
The arrogance to act as if your version of Abraham's god is any
different... Noah's boat, The Garden of Eden, Living in a fish for 3 days, Satan existing, The slavery, The
changing morals, The contradictions, The need to kill jesus, The fact that bible scholars can not agree to
what it says, and the 3 gods all rolled up in one thingy.
THe message hasn't
changed — but the way people look at it the further out we go from the original intent — it opens it up to
different takes on it — and with no one here to explain
what the original intent is — we have to rely on illogical humans to interpret it.
For though some might want to say that a Christian should really be something else or should adopt
different doctrines, they can hardly deny» indeed their desire for
change requires them to assert» that the traditional doctrines are
what defines a Christian.
After all these years of study, of experience, of seeing others
change, and becoming a
different person myself, my belief system has gone a long way from «because the bible says so» to lets see everything the bible has to say about it,
what was going on then, who it was said to, and
what it means in the context of life today.
I do not agree with the catholic teachings so I don't go to their church.I went to a church for many years and when they went a
different way than
what I believe I stopped going to it.I didn't try to
change them.Government and a church will never agree on everything and its not the church job to
change government and the government should not
change a church beliefs. If you are a member of a church and do not agree with them anymore you should leave that church.
If things were
different in the past,
what explains the
change?
This does not mean that God is
changed, if by that verb «
changed» it is suggested that the divine nature if altered or becomes something essentially
different from
what it was before Christ's death and thus moves in and towards the world in a fashion totally at variance with the prior mode of divine concern.
The horizons of meaning within which humans experience, reflect, question, imagine, and act have certainly
changed in
different times and places, and thus the understanding of
what it means to be a «subject» has
changed.
For the talk about the natural
changes of human life over the years, together with
what externally happened there, is not in essence any
different from talking of plant or of animal life.
Evangelism in the U.S. today, as practiced by the denominations, is a very
different thing from
what it has been in the past — and it is constantly
changing.
What is
different is chiefly the agenda and the tactics, for the world has
changed.
I find that my own faith grows,
changes, and blooms when I learn
what other people believe, however
different it may be.
I think we know there are scribal errors in this bible of ours (no doubt from me)-- but I am yet to find a scribal error that
changes the character of Jesus from
what he claims to be to someone altogether
different (ie: not the son of David or from Nazareth or hates Gentiles, etc) or
changes his teachings from one thing to another (ie: we don't catch him stoning someone in adultery anywhere or cursing the roman guards for crucifying him).
while breifly going thru this artical it was makeing my stomach turn, this is just
what the devil wants is for doubt and confusion, christianity is growing stronger than ever, souls are being saved and lives are
changing every day, and do nt for one minute think any
different, or try tp put christians down, why would we loose faith, god answers our prayers everyday, think
what you want and do
what you do, but do nt try to put things in other people's opinion or minds, jesus died for our sins, so that we can have better lives and be forgiven for our sins here on earth and move on to a beter place, becouse souls do nt die «read the bible, if you do nt understand it, find a church that can help you learn a better way of life, I pray for everyone out there that does nt know jesus christ as ther savior to accept
what he has to offer to you «love forgiveness and ever lasting life «Christians» stay strong and [ass the word of god on and share all your tedtimonies in life» god bless everyone»»
Tim i found it liberating to just do
what the Lord wants you to do i work within his boundarys and yes i attend church and enjoy it.I love the people and i love hearing the word and worshipping the Lord even if others are still bound up with traditions thats not my walk thats theres. My focus is to do
what the Lord wants me to do.There have been times i have said no to the pastor he does nt understand why i choose not to lead the worship.i query him as well regarding the idea that its not just performing a function because there is a need our hearts have to be in the right place so that the Lord can use us but he did nt understand where i was coming from and thats okay because of that i just said no until my heart is right i am better not being involved in leading. But i am happy to be an encouragement to others in the worship team i havent wanted to be the leader i have done that in the past.So my focus has been just the singing and being part of
different worship teams i think the Lord has other plans as the groups i am in seem to be
changing at the same time i am aware that i do nt to worry about
change as the Lord knows
whats best.I used to be quite comfortable leading the music but that was before when i was operating in my own self confidence and pride. The Lord did such a huge
change in my life that i lost my self confidence and that is not a bad thing at all as my spiritual growth has been incredible. The big
change was my identity moved from me and
what i could do to knowing who i was in Christ and that he is my strength and confidence. Now i know that without him i can do nothing in fact i am dependent on his empowerment through his holy spirit all the time in everything. In the weekend i was asked to lead the music at another church i attend multiple churchs although i attend two regularly one has services in the morning and one has services in the evening so the two do nt really clash. In the weekend i was asked to lead the music its been two years since i did that and i was worried on how i would go.All i can say is that it went really well and because i stepped out in Faith the Lord really blessed the morning to the congregation. The difference is knowing that i serve the Lord with the gifts he has given me but my heart has to be right and when i do it in his way it builds up the body and it brings glory to him.May the Lord continue to show you
what he wants you to do even though others may not understand your reasons i just want you to know that you do nt have to pull away completely just work within the boundarys that the Lord gives you and do nt feel pressured by others expectations to do anything that feel uncomfortable.Be involved just as you feel lead by the holy spirit even if it is in a very minor way take small steps.regards brentnz
We tend to repeat customary actions unaware that when we do today
what we did yesterday we actually do something
different since in the interval both we and our environment have
changed; unaware also that we now do without conscious definition of purpose and method
what was done yesterday with specific ends in view and by relatively precise means.
