You are absolutely right that we are where people go for help, especially those who are trying to figure out
what an eReader, or eBook, is.
Add on the 70 % of people who have no idea
what an eReader is and you suddenly realize the need to market and promote eReaders.
Even if you don't know
what eReader the gift recipient has, it's not a problem as the gift card comes with redemption codes that allow for multiple download options.
For the first time since Kindle 3 was released users will have to think twice about
what eReader to get.
Companies are trying to pollute the eReader market and change the definition of

WHAT THE HELL: I had just been rejected by
Ereader News Today for the second time in two months.
When most people see someone using an
ereader, they automatically think «Kindle», no matter
what the device is.
As with everyone else posting, I want to know
what the future brings for the NOOK
eReader, my archived library and my current library.
Everything about the
eReader Touch Edition is more responsive and more usable than
what we've seen from any of the previous iterations of Kobo e-readers.
That comes back to deciding
what your priorities are for your
ereader — is it to double as a tablet for web surfing, email and online entertainment or is it simply your reading device?
Amazon have just announced
what they now label «Digital Day» which is the second year of sales on December 29th on digital content for either Amazon's own devices, or any other devices from Windows to Apple phones, tablets, computers TV's, and media players that can play content from Amazon: amazon.com/digitalday The timing isn't that bad, since a lot of people will receive for instance Kindle
