However I think the fact that Arsenal aren't battling the likes of Madrid, Barcelona and City for his signature, but instead challenging Palace and West Brom, just goes to show
what quality of player we have here.

In turn, depending on the opposition and

players at his disposal best, Barca have a lot
of quality in the squad and it would be a surprise to not see them competing for major honours this season regardless

of their top targets this summer.
Listen to
what Mikel Arteta said today on the official Arsenal website: «This is the best group
of players in terms
of numbers and
quality that we have had for many, many years,»
I quite agree sell all the deadwoods but which
player in his right mind would want to come to arsenal at the moment, remember people man u was in the same situation under moyes but we're able to attract better
player's even when not playing champions league, the selling point from arsenal point
of view is to tell
players which they are trying to get
what the plan is
of getting back to top flight football by going for the Europa league over the FA cup and finishing in the top six otherwise if they go for wishy - washy arsene wenger stupid attitude
of we've got
quality all the squad we are competing for everything then I'm afraid We will end up with nothing
What's this i see here. This site is also in a crisis and that is understating the
qualities of our players.I for one will take Walcott over Pedro and i am just responding to a question.I just do nt get it.To me Walcott really is that good and we need him inform.Injuries have hampered his progress a lot as a
player but at least i am happy with him.I do not even get why peeps criticize him so badly. To me he should be our starting right winger. We need him because he is a game changer.I just do nt get how he is on the bench.Peeps are so ignorant and will gather whatever facts they can to make him seem average.Talk about the certain 3 musketeers in arsenal lineup but not him.He is a very dangerous
player
Alexis Sanchez need to go to club with a more ambition unlike arsenal, cos he is a winner and he needs to win more trophy, he scored 30 goals last season yet arsenal couldn't make top 4, that's to tell u a tree can't make up a forest but till now
what has Wenger done to improve the squad to convince Sanchez to stay?nothing, and u expect him to stay with those
players who don't have winning mentality and a coach that lacks ambition, Sanchez don't need money
what he need is
quality players...... my gunners fans all over the world let's be truthful to ourselves, how many
of us will still remain in arsenal fc if we were Sanchez, with arsenal transfer activities so far in mind?
the guy loves this type
of players remember
what he said about ozil a while back» if you love football you love ozil» im not worried about it i think that as soon as we sign alexia & ozil santi will be the next one in line in getting a new improved contract i, d like to think that if well managed if you could play for us for another 3 years at least look at tr7 injuries were his problem otherwise he still had the
quality to play for us in his last years!
Regardless
of what we all think
of Pogba's ability, it's obvious that something isn't working and needs to be addressed from the top, and current
players need to be improved so we only need to add to positions where actual
quality is lacking (3rd MF, 2 fullbacks).
What player of quality is going to look
quality in that attacking 6....
I support
what you are saying bro.A lot
of people believe they know
what will happen next season as if they know the future. Why worry yourself if you think Arsene Wenger won't sign top
quality or make any impact next season. They might as well tell us our future. The only two things which can make Arsenal win things is only if they change their poor mentality and if Wenger changes his poor nanagerial skills. It's never been about
players but because the club never pays attention to these things we keep failing season after season.
If we start this season with those two in our starting 11 it will be a clear sign from this organization that nothing has changed and that we will never get it right until both Kroenke and Wenger are gone... neither one
of these
players should still be with our club at this point because they represent the settling half - measures that have plagued this team for a number
of years... this is
what I call the «no man's land»
of the soccer world, where teams don't have enough talented young
players, unlike a Monaco or Dortmund, because they have lost the plot from an organizational standpoint... they are so reliant on one individual to run the whole operation that their once relevant scouting department has become so antiquated that it can no longer find those hidden gems it once had... furthermore, when you leave all decision - making to a manager who despises any dissenting opinions, your management team becomes little more than a stagnant group
of «yes men» and no new ideas emerge... so instead
of developing a team with the
qualities necessary to excel in a particular system, you continually make half - brain purchases year after year to stifle dissent from the ticket - buying public, then try desperately to finagle together a lineup regardless
of what would make positional sense... have you ever heard
of a team who plays
players out
of position so often...
of course not because that manager would likely be fired and never work for a team
of any consequence ever again
He's just bought replacements
what we need is reinforcements,

Football is mainly about the

what the MSM and the pundits try to tell us.
It's difficult to blame Ozil for the difficulties he's faced at Arsenal without looking at the big picture... like the fans, he too was lied to by Wenger... there is no doubt in my mind that he was told by Wenger that he was trying desperately to recreate our earlier success by acquiring
players that fit the system he ran when Henry was in his prime... as we know this hasn't happened... in order for Ozl to flourish he needs some speed up front, forwards that can make intelligent runs, a boss in the midfield to compensate for his obvious defensive liabilities and defenders who can transition from defence to offence quickly and efficiently... much like he had in Real and with the German National squad... unfortunately he ended up on a squad that has a striker who plays with his back to goal, very few intelligent runs into the box, minus Sanchez, no one to take pressure off him in the midfield, once Cazorla was injured, average defensive midfielders around him, which simply highlighted his lacking defensive
qualities and defenders who lack the necessary cutting edge when it comes to transitional passing... instead
of blaming Ozil, which is simply too easy, especially considering his mopey disposition, we should be asking ownership and / or Wenger why they brought him in if they didn't intend on doing
what was necessary to get the best from him... can you imagine Ozil playing with the likes
of Henry, Viera, Petit and Pires, it would be incredibly to watch and even more difficult to stop... so the only thing different between his experiences in Real and with the German team versus his time at Arsenal are the
players around him and we all know who is in charge
of making those decisions, the Grinch who stole soccer
What is the point

Now with Giroud out for 3 months Wenger wont be able to play the lone striker upfront as we don't have a

what happens now,
OT: My wishes: — Wenger to stop playing Mert ahead
of Gab... this is a must — Wenger being ruthless and stop being stubbornness «big wish» — Wenger to change his transfer policy «big wish as well» — Not count on very injury prone
players (Wilshere, Walcott, Ox, Welbeck), take them only as a bounce because they would never stay fit... It is a dilemma because they are all
quality home grown
players, so I can not say «get rid
of them all» — Give our smart attacking
players (Sanchez, Cazorla, Ozil)
what they need, a striker... that is a must — Strengthen the flank with another
quality because all the sights now on Sanchez — Get rid
of useless team
players (Campbell, Flamini, yes they are useless) and replace them with better
players (promote or buy good ones)-- Loan Chamber... 16M is too much to ruin
However, the 32 - year - old can arguably claim to have scored the most spectacular goal

Cut out the cancer that is wrecking our club weâ $ ™ ve all been saying for the past few weeks, but

LPool has more

«We have some

2 - 3
QUALITY players and minimal injuries gives Arsenal a good shot regardless
of what other clubs may or may not do.
guys obviously your both passionate Arsenal fans and your both right in
what you say but i have to agree with @Nothing changed, up until three years ago when we made new contracts with our sponsors which put us up there financially with the elite
of Europe but the
quality or quantity
of signings did not match the finances, lets not forget we made a profit from sale
of players against buying
players and add that to your annual profits that's not acceptable, its a load
of bull that we couldn't sign Lamar on time we had almost three months to do so, and regarding playing sexy football,
what happen to it?
Cautious because
of Kos???
What ever happened to Wenger's own rule — 2
quality players for every position.
In the midfield, (including RWB & LWB) we have a whole bunch
of tweeners... none offer the full package, none make sense in our manager's current favourite formation, except for Sead on the left and Ox on the right, and all
of them have never shown any consistency for more than a heartbeat... Sead, who I'm including in this category because
of our present formation, looks like a positive addition, minus his occasional brain farts, but I would rather see
what he could do in a back 4 before making my mind up... Ox, who has never played better, which isn't saying much considering his largely underwhelming play in previous seasons, seems to have found a home in this new formation; unfortunately, can we really expect this oft - injured
player to handle the taxing duties that come with said position over the long haul, not to mention, it looks like he has no intention
of staying... Ramsey has relied on the empathy that stems from his gruesome injury years ago and the excitement that was generated a few years back when he finally seemed to put in altogether, but on the whole he has been a big disappointment (neither he nor the Ox have scored enough to warrant a regular spot)... Wiltshire should be put on a weekly contract then played until he suffers his first injury, if and when that occurs he should be shipped - out and no one should very be allowed to say his name on club grounds ever again... Elnehy & Coq are average
players who couldn't make any
of the top 7 teams currently in the EPL... both have showed some great energy on the pitch, but neither are top
quality and no good team can afford to have that many average
players on their bench playing the same position, especially with Coq's injury history / discipline concerns and Elheny's headless chicken tendencies... as for Xhaka, his tenure here so far has been incredibly underwhelming... we know he has some skills to provide the long ball but his defensive work is piss poor and he gives the ball away too cheaply and far too often... finally, the enigma himself, Ozil, so much skill with his left foot but his presence has been more frustrating than uplifting... in many respects his failure has been directly related to the failure
of this club to provide him with the necessary
players up front, minus Sanchez
of course, and unless something drastic happens very soon his legacy will be largely a negative one (much like Wenger's)
Big in your list I can agree that all these
players would improve us, but let's look at our CB At the moment Kos, top
player but is struggling with a inj which may or may not heal, at the moment he isn't match fit so not up to his own high standard, so needs help or a defender
of his
quality so he can go and recover properly So then we have Mert, too slow and no longer good enough, I'm not sure if he's even good enough for 3 rd choice CB, too slow, poor on the air for his size and not brave enough, he's lasted this long due to Kos he needs a Top class CB just to allow him to play against average teams Ok now Reid not top class we can all agree so we couldn't really play him with MERT as he isn't Kos
quality so can't cover merits deficiencys He could be ok with Kos but Kos is struggling So is Reid
what we need???? And finally Wenger if he has all 3 fit will still play Kos / Mert first choice Oh and God forbid we play MERT / Reid against the top teams like Chels / city / utd / Southampton Chuckle chuckle
What i am saying is that if he had bought a couple
of quality players, we could have challenged on all fronts instead
of this discussion we are having
The combative Frenchman also declared that the arrival
of more
quality players has really increased the confidence in our ability to challenge for major honours again this season and that is
what it is all about after all.
I can only imagine
what he would do with the
quality of Arsenal
players at his disposal as well as a budget to buy 1 or 2 worldies to suit his style
of play.
We have just lacked that extra bit
of quality and I just can not understand how Wenger can keep faith in certain
players when it's obvious they just do not have
what it takes to take us to the next level.
I would like to see Mahrez as he is a
quality player, he is proving that the title year wasn't a one off, EPL proven... Hard to pass up on a bargain
of what... around # 40 mil they want?
I would prefer to sign him permanently in the summer rather than on loan in the winter. He is a great talent and could really shine in the epl with us.Yeah he is not the kind
of superstar that ozil was when we signed him but that does not mean that he is not a top
quality player. He could really be a good fit into our team. But I can guarantee you that signing draxler alone next summer will not bring us the epl title. The squad needs strengthening in at least 2 - 3 positions to win the title in
what could actually be wenger's farewell season.Going back to draxler though, without a doubt he will only make the squad stronger but I just hope that he is one
of the many
players heading towards the emirates next season to help us win the title, regardless
of where MESU - LEXIS are cum next august....
He is thinking with Milner you know
what you are getting, you are getting a good
quality of football, a high work rate... adaptable
player.
The Frenchman does not seem too bothered about any perceived lack
of quality in the squad, as he said before the end
of the season that he was happy with
what he has got, and would only sign
players if they became available and were the right sort to fit into our squad.
We still have outdated
players like Mert, arteta, flamini etc on the team...... U have no idea
what quality signings (major or minor) can do to the spirit
of a team like Arsenal...... But nah!
Also you said barring Chambers they've all failed for you.Ok now that's your opinion.I for one think Gibbs, Wilshere and Ox haven't failed but are blighted with injury.A
player like Calum Cahmbers is getting worse on the bench. He needs to play for us to see his real
quality whether he's the real deal or not.We need to know.He should go on loan or be allowed to play more next season.I also don't want to see Mertesacker in the line up again.
What a terrible leader he's been and I said terrible leader not
player though I don't rate him he's ok.Arsene must have proper foresight and vision for this current team to succeed and that's
what he lacks.Also mentality
of players is terrible I don't even know how to describe it.We have small boys mentality in al most all games we play.
This is
what I've been saying for weeks that I just don't see the point in Monreal or Kolasinac at CB.If LB's are being played at CB it tells me more
of the
quality of the other
players than the
quality of the LB's.
Very true Ozil and Sanchez are waiting to see
what Wenger does in the transfer window, if we are a club
of ambition then we'll sign
players of world class
quality!
@RSH
what I was trying to say is that it takes more than world class
players to win you the league. In many instances the mentality factor far outweighs the
quality when the team is playing on the Wenger. With Wenger I don't see us having a strong mentality. We might have even lost the battle before it is fought.Trust me there's a higher chance w» ell not win the EPL if even Wenger made all the right signings. You know why? It's not because
of the so called
quality of other teams but we will be the cause
of our own downfall this season again.
I'd have focused more on Torres (which I did), the lack
of CB depth (I'd prefer to have two
quality CBs to back up a 3 back rather than just one with one
of the starters being a converted CDM), the lack
of players who fit the outside mid role well in this formation (which, hey, maybe that's part
of what you were referring to), and the fact that when you play more attackers higher up the pitch, it often requires a team to be able to implement a high pressuring defensive line (Dempsey and Bruin are not suited for that).
What is best in the circumstances is to replace Sanchez with a
player of similar
quality and then try to move on not keep lamenting.
This performance really does show that Arsene Wenger needs to get his coat and f@ck off!!!! Start your game with your strongest squad and then swap the
players when your in front Giroud was not worth a pot
of cold p!ss, Sanchez who clearly lifts the team was sitting on the bench for half the game I mean WTF????? surely anyone who doubts that Wenger has had his day has had proof positive that it's time to go Just shows
what the team is like without sanchez We are sh!t and it's not about the
quality of the
players it's Thier manager and Thier attitude Its a total disgrace
It's got to be really difficult to separate
what the future potential
of a lot
of the
players on the current squad is based on their level
of play in offensive, defensive, and special teams systems that, let's face it, were not NFL
quality schemes.
What makes him better than Arnautovic? The stats?I'm not saying Arnautovic is better or not but if I was a neutral watching them both the difference in quality is not huge.Do you know what Arnautovic could have done if he was given the lone CF role i Arsenal?I guess I'm also the only one who thinks Chicharito is better than Giroud yet playing at West Ham.If we had Chicharito instead of Giroud from 2012 we could have easily won the league in 15/16 season. What makes Giroud so good that if I watch him on my TV I can't see?All I see is a player who turns his back to goal for most parts of the ma
