However I think the fact that Arsenal aren't battling the likes of Madrid, Barcelona and City for his signature, but instead challenging Palace and West Brom, just goes to show
what quality of player we have here.

I quite agree sell all the deadwoods but which
player in his right mind
would want to come to arsenal at the moment, remember people man u was in the same situation under moyes but we're able to attract better

What's this i see here. This site is also in a crisis and that is understating the
qualities of our players.I for one will take Walcott over Pedro and i am just responding to a question.I just do nt get it.To me Walcott really is that good and we need him inform.Injuries
have hampered his progress a lot as a
player but at least i am happy with him.I do not even get why peeps criticize him so badly. To me he should be our starting right winger. We need him because he is a game changer.I just do nt get how he is on the bench.Peeps are so ignorant and will gather whatever facts they can to make him seem average.Talk about the certain 3 musketeers in arsenal lineup but not him.He is a very dangerous
player
Alexis Sanchez need to go to club with a more ambition unlike arsenal, cos he is a winner and he needs to win more trophy, he scored 30 goals last season yet arsenal couldn't make top 4, that's to tell u a tree can't make up a forest but till now
what has Wenger done to improve the squad to convince Sanchez to stay?nothing, and u expect him to stay with those
players who don't
have winning mentality and a coach that lacks ambition, Sanchez don't need money
what he need is
quality players...... my gunners fans all over the world let's be truthful to ourselves, how many

d like to think that if well managed if you could play for us for another 3 years at least look at tr7 injuries were his problem otherwise he still

If we start this season with those two in our starting 11 it will be a clear sign from this organization that nothing
has changed and that we will never get it right until both Kroenke and Wenger are gone... neither one
of these
players should still be with our club at this point because they represent the settling half - measures that
have plagued this team for a number
of years... this is
what I call the «no man's land»
of the soccer world, where teams don't
have enough talented young
players, unlike a Monaco or Dortmund, because they
have lost the plot from an organizational standpoint... they are so reliant on one individual to run the whole operation that their once relevant scouting department
has become so antiquated that it can no longer find those hidden gems it once
had... furthermore, when you leave all decision - making to a manager who despises any dissenting opinions, your management team becomes little more than a stagnant group
of «yes men» and no new ideas emerge... so instead
of developing a team with the
qualities necessary to excel in a particular system, you continually make half - brain purchases year after year to stifle dissent from the ticket - buying public, then try desperately to finagle together a lineup regardless
of what would make positional sense...
have you ever heard
of a team who plays

of course not because that manager

He's just bought replacements
what we need is reinforcements,

It's difficult to blame Ozil for the difficulties he's faced at Arsenal without looking at the big picture... like the fans, he too was lied to by Wenger... there is no doubt in my mind that he was told by Wenger that he was trying desperately to recreate our earlier success by acquiring
players that fit the system he ran when Henry was in his prime... as we know this hasn't happened... in order for Ozl to flourish he needs some speed up front, forwards that can make intelligent runs, a boss in the midfield to compensate for his obvious defensive liabilities and defenders who can transition from defence to offence quickly and efficiently... much like he
had in Real and with the German National squad... unfortunately he ended up on a squad that
has a striker who plays with his back to goal, very few intelligent runs into the box, minus Sanchez, no one to take pressure off him in the midfield, once Cazorla was injured, average defensive midfielders around him, which simply highlighted his lacking defensive
qualities and defenders who lack the necessary cutting edge when it comes to transitional passing... instead
of blaming Ozil, which is simply too easy, especially considering his mopey disposition, we should be asking ownership and / or Wenger why they brought him in if they didn't intend on doing
what was necessary to get the best from him... can you imagine Ozil playing with the likes
of Henry, Viera, Petit and Pires, it
would be incredibly to watch and even more difficult to stop... so the only thing different between his experiences in Real and with the German team versus his time at Arsenal are the
players around him and we all know who is in charge
of making those decisions, the Grinch who stole soccer

OT: My wishes: — Wenger to stop playing Mert ahead
of Gab... this is a must — Wenger being ruthless and stop being stubbornness «big wish» — Wenger to change his transfer policy «big wish as well» — Not count on very injury prone
players (Wilshere, Walcott, Ox, Welbeck), take them only as a bounce because they
would never stay fit... It is a dilemma because they are all
quality home grown
players, so I can not say «get rid
of them all» — Give our smart attacking
players (Sanchez, Cazorla, Ozil)
what they need, a striker... that is a must — Strengthen the flank with another
quality because all the sights now on Sanchez — Get rid
of useless team
players (Campbell, Flamini, yes they are useless) and replace them with better
players (promote or buy good ones)-- Loan Chamber... 16M is too much to ruin

guys obviously your both passionate Arsenal fans and your both right in
what you say but i
have to agree with @Nothing changed, up until three years ago when we made new contracts with our sponsors which put us up there financially with the elite
of Europe but the
quality or quantity
of signings did not match the finances, lets not forget we made a profit from sale
of players against buying
players and add that to your annual profits that's not acceptable, its a load
of bull that we couldn't sign Lamar on time we
had almost three months to do so, and regarding playing sexy football,
what happen to it?
In the midfield, (including RWB & LWB) we
have a whole bunch
of tweeners... none offer the full package, none make sense in our manager's current favourite formation, except for Sead on the left and Ox on the right, and all
of them
have never shown any consistency for more than a heartbeat... Sead, who I'm including in this category because
of our present formation, looks like a positive addition, minus his occasional brain farts, but I
would rather see
what he could do in a back 4 before making my mind up... Ox, who
has never played better, which isn't saying much considering his largely underwhelming play in previous seasons, seems to
have found a home in this new formation; unfortunately, can we really expect this oft - injured
player to handle the taxing duties that come with said position over the long haul, not to mention, it looks like he
has no intention
of staying... Ramsey
has relied on the empathy that stems from his gruesome injury years ago and the excitement that was generated a few years back when he finally seemed to put in altogether, but on the whole he
has been a big disappointment (neither he nor the Ox
have scored enough to warrant a regular spot)... Wiltshire should be put on a weekly contract then played until he suffers his first injury, if and when that occurs he should be shipped - out and no one should very be allowed to say his name on club grounds ever again... Elnehy & Coq are average
players who couldn't make any
of the top 7 teams currently in the EPL... both
have showed some great energy on the pitch, but neither are top
quality and no good team can afford to
have that many average
players on their bench playing the same position, especially with Coq's injury history / discipline concerns and Elheny's headless chicken tendencies... as for Xhaka, his tenure here so far
has been incredibly underwhelming... we know he
has some skills to provide the long ball but his defensive work is piss poor and he gives the ball away too cheaply and far too often... finally, the enigma himself, Ozil, so much skill with his left foot but his presence
has been more frustrating than uplifting... in many respects his failure
has been directly related to the failure
of this club to provide him with the necessary
players up front, minus Sanchez
of course, and unless something drastic happens very soon his legacy will be largely a negative one (much like Wenger's)
Big in your list I can agree that all these
players would improve us, but let's look at our CB At the moment Kos, top
player but is struggling with a inj which may or may not heal, at the moment he isn't match fit so not up to his own high standard, so needs help or a defender
of his
quality so he can go and recover properly So then we
have Mert, too slow and no longer good enough, I'm not sure if he's even good enough for 3 rd choice CB, too slow, poor on the air for his size and not brave enough, he's lasted this long due to Kos he needs a Top class CB just to allow him to play against average teams Ok now Reid not top class we can all agree so we couldn't really play him with MERT as he isn't Kos
quality so can't cover merits deficiencys He could be ok with Kos but Kos is struggling So is Reid
what we need???? And finally Wenger if he
has all 3 fit will still play Kos / Mert first choice Oh and God forbid we play MERT / Reid against the top teams like Chels / city / utd / Southampton Chuckle chuckle
What i am saying is that if he

The combative Frenchman also declared that the arrival
of more
quality players has really increased the confidence in our ability to challenge for major honours again this season and that is
what it is all about after all.
I can only imagine
what he

quality of Arsenal
players at his disposal as well as a budget to buy 1 or 2 worldies to suit his style

We
have just lacked that extra bit
of quality and I just can not understand how Wenger can keep faith in certain
players when it's obvious they just do not
have what it takes to take us to the next level.
I
would like to see Mahrez as he is a
quality player, he is proving that the title year wasn't a one off, EPL proven... Hard to pass up on a bargain
of what... around # 40 mil they want?
I
would prefer to sign him permanently in the summer rather than on loan in the winter. He is a great talent and could really shine in the epl with us.Yeah he is not the kind
of superstar that ozil was when we signed him but that does not mean that he is not a top
quality player. He could really be a good fit into our team. But I can guarantee you that signing draxler alone next summer will not bring us the epl title. The squad needs strengthening in at least 2 - 3 positions to win the title in
what could actually be wenger's farewell season.Going back to draxler though, without a doubt he will only make the squad stronger but I just hope that he is one
of the many
players heading towards the emirates next season to help us win the title, regardless
of where MESU - LEXIS are cum next august....
The Frenchman does not seem too bothered about any perceived lack
of quality in the squad, as he said before the end
of the season that he was happy with
what he
has got, and
would only sign
players if they became available and were the right sort to fit into our squad.
We still
have outdated
players like Mert, arteta, flamini etc on the team...... U
have no idea
what quality signings (major or minor) can do to the spirit
of a team like Arsenal...... But nah!
Also you said barring Chambers they
've all failed for you.Ok now that's your opinion.I for one think Gibbs, Wilshere and Ox haven't failed but are blighted with injury.A
player like Calum Cahmbers is getting worse on the bench. He needs to play for us to see his real
quality whether he's the real deal or not.We need to know.He should go on loan or be allowed to play more next season.I also don't want to see Mertesacker in the line up again.
What a terrible leader he's been and I said terrible leader not
player though I don't rate him he's ok.Arsene must
have proper foresight and vision for this current team to succeed and that's
what he lacks.Also mentality
of players is terrible I don't even know how to describe it.We
have small boys mentality in al most all games we play.
This is
what I
've been saying for weeks that I just don't see the point in Monreal or Kolasinac at CB.If LB's are being played at CB it tells me more
of the
quality of the other
players than the
quality of the LB's.
@RSH
what I was trying to say is that it takes more than world class
players to win you the league. In many instances the mentality factor far outweighs the
quality when the team is playing on the Wenger. With Wenger I don't see us
having a strong mentality.We might
have even lost the battle before it is fought.Trust me there's a higher chance w» ell not win the EPL if even Wenger made all the right signings. You know why? It's not because
of the so called
quality of other teams but we will be the cause
of our own downfall this season again.
I
'd have focused more on Torres (which I did), the lack
of CB depth (I
'd prefer to
have two
quality CBs to back up a 3 back rather than just one with one
of the starters being a converted CDM), the lack
of players who fit the outside mid role well in this formation (which, hey, maybe that's part
of what you were referring to), and the fact that when you play more attackers higher up the pitch, it often requires a team to be able to implement a high pressuring defensive line (Dempsey and Bruin are not suited for that).
This performance really does show that Arsene Wenger needs to get his coat and f@ck off!!!! Start your game with your strongest squad and then swap the
players when your in front Giroud was not worth a pot
of cold p!ss, Sanchez who clearly lifts the team was sitting on the bench for half the game I mean WTF????? surely anyone who doubts that Wenger
has had his day
has had proof positive that it's time to go Just shows
what the team is like without sanchez We are sh!t and it's not about the
quality of the
players it's Thier manager and Thier attitude Its a total disgrace
What makes him better than Arnautovic? The stats?I'm not saying Arnautovic is better or not but if I was a neutral watching them both the difference in quality is not huge.Do you know what Arnautovic could have done if he was given the lone CF role i Arsenal?I guess I'm also the only one who thinks Chicharito is better than Giroud yet playing at West Ham.If we had Chicharito instead of Giroud from 2012 we could have easily won the league in 15/16 season. What makes Giroud so good that if I watch him on my TV I can't see?All I see is a player who turns his back to goal for most parts of the ma

Well written, but I think it will fall on deaf ears, my fear is as follows, it will take a loss in money for the manager and board to change, this will only come if we finish out
of the top 4, but knowing the board they
would still give home a season to try again, I feel very sorry for Sanchez, he is total
quality and deserves better, most
of the other
players look settled, turn up give70 % and get paid, no matter
what level you play at you should come off the pitch thinking I gave everything, how many
of our
players could say that, they lack motivation,
player for
player we are as good if not better than athletico Madrid but they
have a manger that gets 100 % out
of every
player, Klopp is the same, but why
would they leave their clubs to come here with a boar that cares about money not entertainment, Wenger was a lucky manager he inherited a top defence now his luck
has run out
You are complaining out
of fear not genuine concern — fear
of losing the epl title... wenger
has won the title before & even went unbeaten the whole season which is exactly
what mourinho wants to replicate but seems impossible 4 him... arsenal intends to sign
players that will improve the
quality of the team all we can do is make guesses and share opinions but wenger holds all the cards... arsenal
of today isn't the same as that
of four seasons ago — am sure u are aware
of that fact.
Well it seems that even with a network
of scouts on our payroll there is not, in the entire world
of football, better
quality players than
what we currently
have, to be found!
Asensio undoubtedly looks set for a big future in the game based on
what he's shown so far, and Chelsea
would do well to bring in a
player of that
quality, particularly after their difficult season this term and the doubts over Eden Hazard's future.
Should this even be a topic?Giroud is a
player of average
quality always surrounded by good players.I just don't get. It's as if only Arsenal fans rate him. This was a
player who was bought to be the leading striker at Arsenal and after his years
of failure which many deny he's now become a super sub?How laughable is that. From failure to super sub.If the so called world class striker we're signing goes out with an injury for about five months who comes in then.It seems to me people lack vision. Why is it always Giroud Giroud Giroud? After so many seasons people are still debating
what souldn't even be debatable.I
've lost count
of the number
of times he's been talked about here. This is the problem with our club. It's just not ruthless. This is a
player who should
have been gone long ago but due to him being French he still gets the chances. We won't miss him when he goes and I
'd like to see if he
'd stand out in a smaller club.
It's obvious for me that arsenal need 4
players to become a world class team like bayern and real madrid i couldn't dare mention barcelona because they
have unbelievable front three and they maybe the best attack in history
of football we are lacking
quality in the ST as well as the RW
of course giroud and campvell are very good
players but in my opinion they are less in
quality than the rest
of the team so we need to improve the
quality in these positins About the DM it's a number issue and i think the position is covered with flamini doing good job and elneny coming which can be deployed there About the fourth signing we need is a center back I don't think i saw till now enough minutes for gabriel to tell if he can make the position his own or not But
what makes me doubt him that wenger didn't choose him till now over per which means he is not miles ahead
of him so i think we need a new better CB This team can go and fight for every thing even the champions leafue....
I
've seen
what jacks capable
of & he's a top
quality player he just needs a period without injury & niggles That are stoping him playing to his full potential.
However,
what pisses me off is his lack
of ambition and not adding more
quality players in positions where we
have weaknesses.
Hahaha that's very true.At times you get the feeling that even we don't know
what we want. However, the strikers Arsenal should be targetting are: Lukaku, Aubameyang, Belotti and Chiharito if everything fails. All these
players would improve us massively in terms
of goalscoring and to me they are all worth their prices.I also feel Arsene Wenger doesn't know
what he wants that's why he ends up panic buying as usual.I wouldn't be angry at all if he signs only one
player and that is a world class striker. We
have quality in the other positions but the
players just lack form.As for the CF role we
have no
quality.Wenger should wake up for once. This is his chanceto pounce for Aubameyang.
If you're not gona bring in more
quality players to build on
what you
have, then you might as well sell your best
players coz I sure as hell wouldn't wana be a part
of this circus if I was Sanchez.
This is an incredibly difficult question to answer for a variety
of reasons, most importantly because over the years our once vaunted «beautiful» style
of play
has become a shadow
of it's former self, only to be replaced by a less than stellar «plug and play» mentality where
players play out
of position and adjustments / substitutions are rarely forthcoming before the 75th minute... if you look at our current
players, very few
would make sense in the traditional Wengerian system... at present, we don't
have the personnel to move the ball quickly from deep - lying position, efficient one touch midfielders that can make the necessary through balls or the disciplined and pacey forwards to stretch defences into wide positions, without the aid
of the backs coming up into the final 3rd, so that we can attack the defensive lanes in the same clinical fashion we did years ago... on this current squad, we
have only 1 central defender on staf, Mustafi, who seems to
have any prowess in the offensive zone or who can even pass two zones through so that we can advance play quickly out
of our own end (I
have seen some inklings that suggest Holding might
have some offensive
qualities but too early to tell)... unfortunately Mustafi
has a tendency to get himself in trouble when he gets overly aggressive on the ball... from our backs out wide, we
've seen pace from the likes
of Bellerin and Gibbs and the spirited albeit offensively stunted play
of Monreal, but none
of these
players possess the skill - set required in the offensive zone for the new Wenger scheme which requires deft touches, timely runs to the baseline and consistent crossing, especially when Giroud was playing and his ratio
of scored goals per clear chances was relatively low (better last year though)... obviously I like Bellerin's future prospects, as you can't teach pace, but I do worry that he regressed last season, which was obvious to Wenger because there was no way he
would have used Ox as the right side wing - back so often knowing that Barcelona could come calling in the off - season, if he thought otherwise... as for our midfielders, not a single one, minus the more confident Xhaka I watched played for the Swiss national team a couple years ago, who truly makes sense under the traditional Wenger model... Ramsey holds onto the ball too long, gives the ball away cheaply far too often and abandons his defensive responsibilities on a regular basis (doesn't score enough recently to justify): that being said, I
've always thought he does possess a little something special, unfortunately he thinks so too... Xhaka is a little too slow to ever boss the midfield and he tends to telegraph his one true strength, his long ball play: although I must admit he did get a bit better during some points in the latter part
of last season... it always made me wonder why whenever he played with Coq Wenger always seemed to play Francis in a more advanced role on the pitch... as for Coq, he is way too reckless at the wrong times and
has exhibited little offensive prowess yet finds himself in and around the box far too often... let's face it Wenger was ready to throw him in the trash heap when injuries forced him to use Francis and then he
had the nerve to act like this was all part
of a bigger Wenger constructed plan... he like Ramsey, Xhaka and Elneny don't offer the skills necessary to satisfy the quick transitory nature
of our old offensive scheme or the stout defensive mindset needed to protect the defensive zone so that our offensive
players can remain aggressive in the final third... on the front end, we
have Ozil, a
player of immense skill but stunted by his physical demeanor that tends to offend, the fact that he's been played out
of position far too many times since arriving and that the
players in front
of him, minus Sanchez, make little to no sense considering
what he
has to offer (especially Giroud); just think about the quick counter-attack offence in Real or the space and protection he receives in the German National team's midfield, where teams couldn't afford to focus too heavily on one individual... this
player was a passing «specialist» long before he arrived in North London, so only an arrogant or ignorant individual
would try to reinvent the wheel and / or not surround such a talent with the necessary components... in regards to Ox, Walcott and Welbeck, although they all possess serious talents I see them in large part as headless chickens who are on the injury table too much, lack the necessary first - touch and / or lack the finishing flair to warrant their inclusion in a regular starting eleven; I
would say that,
of the 3, Ox showed the most upside once we went to a back 3, but even he became a bit too consumed by his pending contract talks before the season ended and that concerned me a bit... if I
had to choose one
of those 3
players to stay on it
would be Ox due to his potential as a plausible alternative to Bellerin in that wing - back position should we continue to use that formation... in Sanchez, we get one
of the most committed skill
players we
've seen on this squad for some years but that could all change soon, if it hasn't already
of course... strangely enough, even he doesn't make sense given the constructs
of the original Wenger offensive model because he holds onto the ball too long and he will give the ball up a little too often in the offensive zone... a fact that is largely forgotten due to his infectious energy and the fact that the numbers he
has achieved seem to justify the means... finally, and in many ways most crucially, Giroud, there is nothing about this team or the offensive system that Wenger
has traditionally employed that
would even suggest such a
player would make sense as a starter... too slow, too inefficient and way too easily dispossessed... once again, I think he
has some special skills and, at times,
has showed some world - class
qualities but he's lack
of mobility is an albatross around the necks
of our offence... so when you ask who
would be our best starting 11, I don't
have a clue because
of the 5 or 6
players that truly deserve a place in this side, 1 just arrived, 3 aren't under contract beyond 2018 and the other was just sold to Juve... man, this is theraputic because following this team is like an addiction to heroin without the benefits
If Arsenal want to keep
players of this stature and
quality, they
have to fight for
quality players in the transfer market that will not only increase our chances
of winning major honours but also keep the
players such as Ozil and Alexis happy and for them to believe in
what this club can achieve.
What I want Jack Wilshere to do is to train harder and push himself to deliver consistent
quality performances.I want him ti stop livingon potential because he still
has the ability to play fod the best teams in tbe world. He needs to work harder, train harder and motivate himself more. This is why I want Wenger gone because I want a different manager with a new mentality for some
of our
players.A lot
of our
players would really improve and many here will be shocksd under a new manager.
