As an aside, the only
restaurants that prepared anything
vegan were the two Indian establishments, and
what they served was delicious: a tiny portion of lentil soup with one plump organic crouton and a cold chick pea and lentil dish topped with pineapple, mango, pomegranate seeds, cilantro, and a sauce they left off because it contained yogurt.

I ended up having to pick an over-the-top healthy
restaurant where the entrees are so small they look like they belong on a children's appetizer menu, and the options are so
vegan - friendly and gluten - free - friendly that when you order the one solitary dish with meat, dairy, and gluten, the server gives you stink eye like,
What.
Ordered a dish that was half of a Kobocha stuffed with some rice in a Korean
restaurant and it was double or triple
what most
vegan entrees are!
What I love about Valentine's Day is that it's a fun, special occasion to celebrate my love for my guy, for us to get a little fancy and do something we both genuinely love, like going to see a movie or to a cool
vegan restaurant if we can hunt one down in our area.
To be honest, it was not the best gluten - free pizza crust I have tasted, but it was so nice to be able to go with mixed company (gluten - free and non-gluten-free) to a place where everyone could get
what they wanted and it was safe — even for my daughter with multiple food allergies (the crust is also dairy - free and egg - free and they offer Daiya
vegan cheese, and the only nuts in the
restaurant are on one salad).
Sadly,
what I was most disappointed, was the abundant use of
vegan substitutes (ie
vegan cream cheese, sour cream and Vegenaise), although that probably helps prep time for
restaurants.
Avo is a raw
vegan restaurant that just opened on the west side that's totally different from
what else is going on.
Consumers want true personalization around
what they eat... and that means figuring out how to eat at a fast food
restaurant on a
vegan diet.
Crab dip is a
restaurant fave, but
what's a
vegan to do?

If you're going out, call the

what vegan options they have or would be willing to make for you.
I'm no longer
