What brand of whole
wheat pasta do you use?

The other night, my kids wanted spaghetti and meatballs, so I made regular, whole
wheat pasta for them, but decided to
do zoodles for my husband and me.
I don't think I've ever posted, but now I want to say that, even with some dietary modifications — turkey bacon, whole
wheat pasta — this is simply one of the best things I've ever eaten.
Or, I'd
do pasta blends, half regular
pasta and half whole
wheat or spinach
pasta.
When I was still
doing wheat I couldn't work with full whole -
wheat pasta dough in the machine — had to make it half and half in order to make the dough workable, so just wondering if that might be the case with this recipe?
Cook the whole
wheat pasta about 1 minute less than the package directions, so
pasta is
done but al dente.
Did you use whole
wheat or other altenative

I don't
do wheat (your article about Italian
pasta dishes — I substitute with Rice
pasta) and I don't
do dairy product.....

done I toss it with the tomatoes that in turn gets poured over cooked whole

wheat pasta tastes a bit nutty and its texture works great with the crunchiness of the chopped pistachios.
Use any shape of
pasta your kids like and don't worry about the flavor of whole -
wheat pasta taking over because in this salad, that nutty whole -
wheat taste holds up perfectly.

I will be completely honest here, I don't love whole

One might think that getting the
wheat / grain for
pasta might be the hardest item to find, Biello certainly
did, and yet she found a mill in a nearby town, the True Grain Mill, that provides freshly milled local grain.
But
do not, under any circumstances, call a dish made of coconut oil, almond flour, avocado, goat cheese, lime, garlic, chili flakes, basil, skim milk, and salt — on whole
wheat pasta, no less — «macaroni and cheese.»
There are gluten free bread crumbs... & also rice or quinoa crumbs... (& i havent tried it yet, but, just while im mentioning gluten free — there is a rice - based couscous) & u can still have your
pasta without
wheat — slightly more expensive, but worth it to avoid what gluten
does to those who r intolerant — its made from cornflour, so not good for ppl with diverticulitis Seems to be no difference in taste as the kids have never commented (including the big lump u met today... hahaha)
