1 cup fine breadcrumbs (I toasted 2 pieces of wheat bread and pulsed in the blender) or 1 cup cooked brown rice to make it gluten free
Snack on tomato crostini: in the oven, toast whole wheat bread till crusty, then top with tomato sauce, herbs, a little grated cheese, and reheat until the cheese melts.
I do find, however, that bulgur is one of the few wheat products that upsets my stomach, and I love the toothsome chew of the kamut, and the nutty flavour it gets here from being toasted in olive oil.
