As a girl who tends towards wardrobe classics, I've always found it interesting
when classic items are suddenly considered trendy.
We love
when a classic item gets a modern remix.

Sifting through these boxes of decay, I put aside a few
items I care about — the program and ticket stubs from
when Lyn and I tried to get married at the Shavers fight; a few posters and magazines; a copy of the
classic 1970 Ken Regan head shot in which jeweled planets of sweat ride Ali's countenance like cold water poured on a hot copper frying - pan sky.
When my hubs and I started trying for our first baby (of the two we now have in our family), or shortly thereafter, I couldn't resist buying a certain

item and stashing it away.

classics, a good rule to live by is start with the key
items you already wear frequently and think about what can be interchanged with vintage.
When it comes to the foundation pieces of a jewelry box, two
items come to mind: diamond stud earrings, a wear - with - everything ring (be it a signet or cigar band), and a pair of
classic pearl studs.
That being said, I think it is more important for the beige
item to have, or contribute, to an overall look that is more on the funky side, than the
classic when older, or it very easy to look «grande dame» if dressy, or «given up» on the casual.
So
when it came time to decide on a
classic item from Serena & Lily, I knew I had to have their Brahms Mount Herringbone Throw.
Take the blazer, a
classic item that
when chosen wisely can elevate an outfit: «I own two by Ellery.
It's much harder to tell that an
item is from a fast fashion store
when you pick out a solid neutral color or a
classic pattern.
When buying designers» clothes, I tend to buy

items which will last for several years.

When accessorizing less is definitely more, so French women tend to stick to one
item that they wear over and over again that completes their look, such as a red lip, scarf, or

Splurges are always a good idea
when it comes to
classic wardrobe staples, but for of - the - moment, trendy pieces, you're better off to invest in
items that won't break the bank.
Now, there are not many rules
