First touch deserted him on too many occasions and he did not look as confident as usual
when running at players.
It's exciting
when he runs at players and uses his strength and trickery to take people on, but equally it was great to see him whip in an early cross of such quality.

goodness i can't believe it people will still defend him.You know something
when Giroud misses many chances like
at Monaco i did not criticize him even based on that you know why?its because he has always not been clinical. The only way a team can improve is by indentifying its problems and solving them.Arsenal has Giroud as the main cf and Welbeck as backup to him.Giroud has done well scoring some goals some too important but collectively he does more harm than good.Do not use moments to judge a
player judge him based on content.Giroud does not excel in many games than he excels in games. As a main cf you need to be consistent.I see people here saying Giroud can not dribble he cant do this he cant do that but its a bit crazy to criticize him for that because every
player has his own style.Giroud limitations as a
player costs arsenal and will cost us a lot. Most importantly his poor finishing which has cost us several times. Not good enough. His style of play is ok for us but a striker who can take on
players and
run behind defences very well would make us very strong and also should be clinical. For Welbeck he needs to works on his finishing and composure by doing the basic things right. He rushes infront of goal too much. For now he is just above average. However he can excel if he works on improving.Giroud and Welbeck will always be a pain in arsenal's neck for most part. Some will call me stupid but hey
at least i want to analyze the problem.People may support Giroud or Welbeck to lead the line next season but as the saying goes if you fool me once shame on you but if you fool me twice shame on me.Will you let Giroud and Welbeck fool you again?
AKB's just never
run out of excuses, it isn't «bad luck»
when we are first on the injury ladder (by a country mile as well) EVERY SEASON, the last time i remember having a reasonable injury list was before diaby was injury prone, so whether it's down to his tactics,
players diets or imcompetent staff, a 2.5 star manager wouldn't have taken more than 2 - 3 seasons to fix these problems,
players join our club with amazingly good injury records (ozil) and become injry prone,
players leave our club (fabregas) and are fit 2x as much as they were for us, SOMETHING IS WRONG
AT ARSENAL
You only realise the importance of keeping the tempo going
when you see so much good build up being
run out of play or the ball being released to the wrong
player at the wrong time.
Also
when you look
at last years positive base
running numbers it's largely a result of just a few
players being very good; Gardner, Ellsbury, Hicks, Torreyes, and as we've seen Gardner and Torreyes (and Didi) are prone to some boneheaded decisions
at times on the bases.
If we start this season with those two in our starting 11 it will be a clear sign from this organization that nothing has changed and that we will never get it right until both Kroenke and Wenger are gone... neither one of these
players should still be with our club
at this point because they represent the settling half - measures that have plagued this team for a number of years... this is what I call the «no man's land» of the soccer world, where teams don't have enough talented young
players, unlike a Monaco or Dortmund, because they have lost the plot from an organizational standpoint... they are so reliant on one individual to
run the whole operation that their once relevant scouting department has become so antiquated that it can no longer find those hidden gems it once had... furthermore,
when you leave all decision - making to a manager who despises any dissenting opinions, your management team becomes little more than a stagnant group of «yes men» and no new ideas emerge... so instead of developing a team with the qualities necessary to excel in a particular system, you continually make half - brain purchases year after year to stifle dissent from the ticket - buying public, then try desperately to finagle together a lineup regardless of what would make positional sense... have you ever heard of a team who plays
players out of position so often... of course not because that manager would likely be fired and never work for a team of any consequence ever again
Theo is not the most intelligent
player on the pitch, and can not spot killer pass like Ozil, his decision making on the ball need to improve — it is hard to make good decision

So be happy that we lifted the trophy

We want to buy their

at Arsenal forget once we get someone, and remember it

It's difficult to blame Ozil for the difficulties he's faced
at Arsenal without looking
at the big picture... like the fans, he too was lied to by Wenger... there is no doubt in my mind that he was told by Wenger that he was trying desperately to recreate our earlier success by acquiring
players that fit the system he
ran when Henry was in his prime... as we know this hasn't happened... in order for Ozl to flourish he needs some speed up front, forwards that can make intelligent
runs, a boss in the midfield to compensate for his obvious defensive liabilities and defenders who can transition from defence to offence quickly and efficiently... much like he had in Real and with the German National squad... unfortunately he ended up on a squad that has a striker who plays with his back to goal, very few intelligent
runs into the box, minus Sanchez, no one to take pressure off him in the midfield, once Cazorla was injured, average defensive midfielders around him, which simply highlighted his lacking defensive qualities and defenders who lack the necessary cutting edge
when it comes to transitional passing... instead of blaming Ozil, which is simply too easy, especially considering his mopey disposition, we should be asking ownership and / or Wenger why they brought him in if they didn't intend on doing what was necessary to get the best from him... can you imagine Ozil playing with the likes of Henry, Viera, Petit and Pires, it would be incredibly to watch and even more difficult to stop... so the only thing different between his experiences in Real and with the German team versus his time
at Arsenal are the
players around him and we all know who is in charge of making those decisions, the Grinch who stole soccer
It's a similar sentiment, softer stance, and less offensive take on it than what Texans owner Bob McNair had

corzola is very good
at giving us good control
when we are up against teams that stand off our midfield, but if we up against a team that presses against us we need power to break through and press back, i saw pogba last night and he was miles above all the
players on the pitch,
when he came on just
ran the whole midfield on his own, wenger should blow all of his next summers budget signing pogba, even if it takes everything we got the kid is the best young c / m in the world atm.

when the team loses a game, for how many years has the club been crying out for a world - class dm, he refused to buy

Jack and Rosicky are more direct, take more risks, and
at times this season Sanchez seemed the only playing willing to

The only thing which makes our team unbalanced is playing the luxury item we bought called ozil.I thought he would need time to adjust to physicality of premier league so i supported him, but the guy hasn't improved he tries to dribble past ppl but
runs into them somehow, tries to do showboating
at unnecessary time which he fails to do miserably. And i see him giving too many back passes
when he should drive forward. And the biggest reason i stopped liking him as a
player is bcoz of his sulky attitude. No passion or drive for the club, as if he wanted to be
at some other club and is just doing the job without his heart in it.He neeeds to be placed on the bench and make him work hard to retain his place.Ramsey and coq in middle with ox and sanchez on both wing and cazorla as cam will make us a more balanced midfield.
I've seen Giroud moan
at other
players for passing him the ball
when he couldn't be bothered to

Say what you like admin.Even Diaby upon doing nothing for several seasons was able to secure a move to Marseille which to me is a top team. Was it not last season that before he went to Bournemouth teams like Juventus and AS Roma were interested in him?He just needs a league which is not physical for the mean time.I mean any time he gets a
run of games he begins to hit top forn and just
when things are looking up things go down again. This injury thing is a menace in our club.Look
at the number of games Gnabry has played. But I will urge him to leave Arsenal because all he needs to do is to remain injury free. It's not rocket science. If Wilshere remains injury free for just one season he'll be great. It's just like the Van Persie case.A lot of people were frustrated with him and cllled him man of glass but I knew he just needed to be injury free for one season. To me he's a better
player than Ramsey though Ramsey is on form.He also has the ability to surpass Cazorla and be Arsenal's number one. He's also Arsenall thrugh and through.Arsenal has to solve his injury problems because he's shown that
when he gets a
run of games he can do it.
A club

when was the last fuking time Spurs won a trophy give it a fuking rest Wenger has won more trophies then spuds in their whole fuking history Sick of plastic fans constantly knocking the manager and
players like you are fuking genius experts in knowing all about football We have the worst fan base in football a bunch of ingrates Why would any top

when they see how fans treat their own
players like ozil Lol
at people talking about Spurs and pool fukers don't win any trophies but their fans stay loyal ours turn nasty every game werther we win or lose It won't change even if we get a new manager they will turn on him
at first defeat What we need is for the vocal minority of plastic key board fans to fuk off and stop bringing the club down Coyg
What can Arteta do

Had we had Theo and Giroud on
at the same time we'd have had two
players getting into the box
when the ball was wide and alot more
runs through good channels (exactly what Welbeck lacks).
This is an incredibly difficult question to answer for a variety of reasons, most importantly because over the years our once vaunted «beautiful» style of play has become a shadow of it's former self, only to be replaced by a less than stellar «plug and play» mentality where
players play out of position and adjustments / substitutions are rarely forthcoming before the 75th minute... if you look
at our current
players, very few would make sense in the traditional Wengerian system...
at present, we don't have the personnel to move the ball quickly from deep - lying position, efficient one touch midfielders that can make the necessary through balls or the disciplined and pacey forwards to stretch defences into wide positions, without the aid of the backs coming up into the final 3rd, so that we can attack the defensive lanes in the same clinical fashion we did years ago... on this current squad, we have only 1 central defender on staf, Mustafi, who seems to have any prowess in the offensive zone or who can even pass two zones through so that we can advance play quickly out of our own end (I have seen some inklings that suggest Holding might have some offensive qualities but too early to tell)... unfortunately Mustafi has a tendency to get himself in trouble
when he gets overly aggressive on the ball... from our backs out wide, we've seen pace from the likes of Bellerin and Gibbs and the spirited albeit offensively stunted play of Monreal, but none of these
players possess the skill - set required in the offensive zone for the new Wenger scheme which requires deft touches, timely
runs to the baseline and consistent crossing, especially
when Giroud was playing and his ratio of scored goals per clear chances was relatively low (better last year though)... obviously I like Bellerin's future prospects, as you can't teach pace, but I do worry that he regressed last season, which was obvious to Wenger because there was no way he would have used Ox as the right side wing - back so often knowing that Barcelona could come calling in the off - season, if he thought otherwise... as for our midfielders, not a single one, minus the more confident Xhaka I watched played for the Swiss national team a couple years ago, who truly makes sense under the traditional Wenger model... Ramsey holds onto the ball too long, gives the ball away cheaply far too often and abandons his defensive responsibilities on a regular basis (doesn't score enough recently to justify): that being said, I've always thought he does possess a little something special, unfortunately he thinks so too... Xhaka is a little too slow to ever boss the midfield and he tends to telegraph his one true strength, his long ball play: although I must admit he did get a bit better during some points in the latter part of last season... it always made me wonder why whenever he played with Coq Wenger always seemed to play Francis in a more advanced role on the pitch... as for Coq, he is way too reckless
at the wrong times and has exhibited little offensive prowess yet finds himself in and around the box far too often... let's face it Wenger was ready to throw him in the trash heap
when injuries forced him to use Francis and then he had the nerve to act like this was all part of a bigger Wenger constructed plan... he like Ramsey, Xhaka and Elneny don't offer the skills necessary to satisfy the quick transitory nature of our old offensive scheme or the stout defensive mindset needed to protect the defensive zone so that our offensive
players can remain aggressive in the final third... on the front end, we have Ozil, a
player of immense skill but stunted by his physical demeanor that tends to offend, the fact that he's been played out of position far too many times since arriving and that the
players in front of him, minus Sanchez, make little to no sense considering what he has to offer (especially Giroud); just think about the quick counter-attack offence in Real or the space and protection he receives in the German National team's midfield, where teams couldn't afford to focus too heavily on one individual... this
player was a passing «specialist» long before he arrived in North London, so only an arrogant or ignorant individual would try to reinvent the wheel and / or not surround such a talent with the necessary components... in regards to Ox, Walcott and Welbeck, although they all possess serious talents I see them in large part as headless chickens who are on the injury table too much, lack the necessary first - touch and / or lack the finishing flair to warrant their inclusion in a regular starting eleven; I would say that, of the 3, Ox showed the most upside once we went to a back 3, but even he became a bit too consumed by his pending contract talks before the season ended and that concerned me a bit... if I had to choose one of those 3
players to stay on it would be Ox due to his potential as a plausible alternative to Bellerin in that wing - back position should we continue to use that formation... in Sanchez, we get one of the most committed skill
players we've seen on this squad for some years but that could all change soon, if it hasn't already of course... strangely enough, even he doesn't make sense given the constructs of the original Wenger offensive model because he holds onto the ball too long and he will give the ball up a little too often in the offensive zone... a fact that is largely forgotten due to his infectious energy and the fact that the numbers he has achieved seem to justify the means... finally, and in many ways most crucially, Giroud, there is nothing about this team or the offensive system that Wenger has traditionally employed that would even suggest such a
player would make sense as a starter... too slow, too inefficient and way too easily dispossessed... once again, I think he has some special skills and,
at times, has showed some world - class qualities but he's lack of mobility is an albatross around the necks of our offence... so
when you ask who would be our best starting 11, I don't have a clue because of the 5 or 6
players that truly deserve a place in this side, 1 just arrived, 3 aren't under contract beyond 2018 and the other was just sold to Juve... man, this is theraputic because following this team is like an addiction to heroin without the benefits
When I play in defensive midfield I don't really have to
run as much to mark
players, so marking a striker
at centre back is a lot more physical and has been a new experience for me.

This is a big club and we need every

Joining a club of arsenal s stature has its ups and downs. There is a requirement of how our
players should perform
when on the pitch. The following is a list of
players who were wrong to choose arsenal.Aaron ramsey - Even though he is the most favoured of all
players at the club now.I cant help but think how it would have gone for Him if he decided to search for other greener pastures. He was a clear talented footballer during his time
at cardiff but he hasnt been raised with the discipline
at arsenal. You can always see ramseys all round strengths but sadly Its not helping him or the club with his foward moving pleasurr. He is so Over used and its sometimes difficult for him to get used to the rythm of the game. With time you realise he gets low ib confidence and his engine gets wasted. He needed somebody who would have managed him properly and with care and that person is certainpy not wenger. You would have been better off
at Manu mate.Calum chambers - Came us a very talented
player from southampton with raw talent. He was very good
at first but wenger found a way to reduce his level of confidence. His inexperience was left exposed and wenger did nt do anything to resolve that problem and instead He looked for other talented
players.Alex oxlade chamberlain - Another very talented
player who needed only his skilled sharpened and his character modelled. That and he was ready to become a world beater. But wenger decided to let him
run and
run like a headless chicken causing him to be often injured and damaging his confidence.Who knows what would have happened to him gad he decided to look for more greener pasture. He is surely a much better
player than this.Theo walcott - Another
player who was tipped to have a very bright future. He had it in him.But all he needed was an appropriate manager who would nurture him with discipline and help him with his talent. But on Coming to arsenal he was given Much more responsiblities putting more weight on his shoulders on top of that another
player who was recklessly managed with his talent and never coming off age because his character wasnt properly shaped.Mesut ozil - Al right i agree he perfoms well just recently. But imagine all the legendary
players he was often compared to during his time
at real madrid. On coming to arsenal he found no rotation often overused, suffered many injuries and his confidence dwindled. It is pretty clear arsene does not take any responsibility for
players.And
when at arsenal you have to be your own manager. You need not rely on your manager otherwise you might continue being the same
player for the next many years. That is why each and every
player are what they are because of their own efforts and wenger had nothing to do with it.Van persie was the same
player for over 7 years untill he himself decided to change.Wenger only organises and prepares tge team while the rest is in your court. It is not what so many people make it out to be.Thats why we need to pressure wenger more than our own
players. They are their own self managers and wenger needs to take that responsibility
If the best
player available
when our next draft pick comes around is also a safety, should we draft him, too, ignoring our needs for depth
at defensive tackle, a pass - catching
running back and a field - stretching tight end, assuming those needs have not been met in free agency?
i want a 3rd
player on the floor who can
run with wall and beal and
when otto / morris / gortat are on the floor together i don't see how we're maximizing what our pg is best
at, and that's a problem to me.
Great and beautiful win, kudos to all d
players for their energy and passion and will to win but don't forget d real issues............ Now mertesacker is a great defender even with is faint hearted block to Costa's goal, even with the way ospina conceded d goal was enough reason why cech would av been better any day anytime and still wenger chose ospina
at the most important match, and because Ramsey equalised after we conceded under pressure
when we were one man up, look
at d replays, only Ramsey was not a pussy, d rest were scared of not conceding more by staying close to our goal, Ramsey
ran forward and was d only
player apart from Sanchez and ground looking for d winner.
Looks like Stan likes to kill animals ah wat money does to people they just get bored and cum up with stupid tv prog go kill animals makes me mad and sad and to think our club is
ran by this man no wonder we are we're we are besides putting cash into tv, Stan get ur cash and give ozil and Sanchez and ox the money they want if doesn't do it go get bale that's wat real owner does and if Sanchez refuses da offer get the guys killing animals on ur programme to go hunting Sanchez sick being put down like how are spurs ahead of us there building now we're passed that we should be in champions league semis
at least I don't no if it's wenger or da owner but
at Highbury
when mr drink was around we had 13 world class
players and Highbury now emirates we have maybe 3 or 4 or 5 tops, world class
players and guess wat we can't even keep them oh my dear friends it don't feel rite I find myself losing my arsenal my life I can not believe spurs are above us and how we use tear them to shreds our kids use ta, who cares if Sanchez goes we will not win da league with Stan there he just wants pump cash in to shooting poor animals well to me ur the animal and ur taking a sleeping giant in to the jungle?
if you watch arsenal place I see so much space and no
runs no
runs at all only
when in the box if you watch Leicester they are always makeing
runs all over the place that's how you score goals against a team like Southampton they controlled the game it was not unlucky just like chelsea can do control the game and won arsenal
players don't believe they can win the title the
players in that team play without heart you know why because Im sure wenger tells them becareful we don't need anymore Injurys what kind of mentality is that also I will pick out Ramsey he is playing like a
player who is leaveing the club he and flamini just don't work Ramsey is not playing good
at all wenger can blame make excuses but truth is he is the manager he make the tactics and he gets it wrong all the time giroud has no pace none bench him against some teams and play pure pace make
runs ox Walcott but they don't Walcott has lost it his pace has gone its clear or he fears I jury how if a
player is fit put your all in forget injury if you get Injured then so be it but if your fit and your Walcott
run put yourself about wenger should leave because he.
What do you mean by average?I doubt you watched him closely
at Bournemouth.He was their best
player and was
running the show until the injuries came in.He always starts playing a bit like his old self
when he plays string of games. Then just
when his about to remind us then the injuries come.Anyone who says he was average
at Bournemouth obviously didn't watch him. Also I feel the word «average «is used ignorantly a lot of times over here.I quite remember people here saying Serge Gnabry was average and deadwood. However, those that were watching him and knew his talent knew he wasn't average. If Arsenal sell Wilshere then they must pray that he doesn't have an injury free season because if he does he's gonna be one of the best.
The things that killed us in our last match were obvious, why was mertsacker
running into the box
when hes a defender and knowing that hes the only qualified cb in the team surely he should have left the roaming for monreal, too many team members try and instill the responsibility of a WHOLE team onto themselves especially
when we go down, now that works in a case where your team is packed with stars ala chelsea and man city but
when you have
players like ours our best way to win is patience and everybody playing THEIR role and playing it f-ing well and only few are doing that
at the moment and that is the main spine of our problems
when it comes to the team!
«
When you look at these types of players everyone says, «They're technically gifted, can pass and have nice vision», but when it comes to running people question

I don't like how you frisco talked about Wilshere. What I've come to realize is that we always seem not to criticize some
players.Let me give you examples. They are: Monreal, Cazorla, Ozil etc. I've watched several matches where Cazorls has not been efficient and
at Arsenal lack of efficiency from
players and inconsistency is the norm of the day for this club.Wilshere has not yet fulfilled his potential but the guy I admire him for his fighting spirit and he always shows signs of the old Wilshere
when he gets a
run of games.I expect Wilshere to be better than Ozil and Cazorla
when fulfills his potential.
When you watch him
when he was 16 and compare to other
players at the same age who are now stars he was far far better. The guy's potential is really really huge and of there's anyone Arsene must persist with then it's Jack Wilshere. He should play this week in my opinion because he looked good
when he came on and we can't keeo that momentum on the vench.Arsenal fans are too interested in one
player being better than the other to start.Okay well if you want me to say it like how it is then i'll say it.Ozil and Cazorla are much better than Jack Wilshere but in terms of potential Wilshere was more blessed than them.
Looking
at things from an Arsenal point of view I definitely agree with Arsene Wenger's suggestion that the penalty awarded against the Gunners today was a soft one and that Moussa Dembele was looking for it
when he
ran into the box and into three Arsenal
players that he was never going to get past.
The jack that
ran into
players when he scored the goal of the season last season or is it the jack that controlled the mid against man city
at wembley that you are referring to?
But
when people are saying we should sign X-player who contributed well last season while playing every single game for «depth» sure, on paper it looks great, but a lot of
players hit patches of form that may not necessarily be given that opportunity here, as there may be someone else in the squad who hits the ground
running and contributes straight away... If Coquelin, Arteta, Flamini, Wilshere, Ramsey, AOC, Ozil, Cazorla, Rosicky are all fit and firing, I think you're sorely mistaken if you think anything but a truly world - class midfielder would be looking
at those names and not potentially evaluating their first - team opportunities.
and we still need a new manager, but
at least if we keep Ozil and get some quality new
players like that, a new manager will be able to hit the ground
running when the dinosaur finally allows himself to become extinct.
players like Ozil always present the fans with a bit of a conundrum, especially
when times are tough... if you look around the sporting world every once in awhile there emerges a
player with incredible skill, like Ozil, Matt Sundin or even Jay Cutler, who have a different way about themselves... their movement seemed almost too lackadaisical, so much so that it seemed to suggest indifference or even disinterest on the part of the
player... their posture always appears somewhat mopey and they generally have an unflattering «sour puss» expression on their face... for some their above average skills are enough to keep them squarely in the mix, as their respective teams try desperately to find a way to get the best out of them visa vie
player acquisitions or the reworking of tactics...
when things go according to planned the fans usually find a way to accept their unique disposition, whereas
when things go awry they become easy targets for fans and pundits alike... in the case of Ozil and Sundin, their successes on the international stage and / or with their former teams led many to conclude that if we surrounded such talented individuals with
players that have those skills that would most likely bring the best of these
players success would surely follow... unfortunately both the Maple Leafs and our club chose to adopt half - measures, as each were being
run by corporations who valued profitability over providing the best possible product on the field... for them, they cared more about shirt sales and season tickets than doing whatever was necessary... this isn't, by any stretch, an attempt to absolve Ozil of any responsibility for his failures on the pitch... there is no doubt oftentimes his efforts were underwhelming, to say the least, but this club has been inept
when it comes to providing this prolific passer with the kind of
players necessary for him to flourish... with our poor man's version of Benzema up front, the headless chickens in Walcott, the younger Ox and Welbeck occupying wide positions far too often and the fact that Carzola, who provided Ozil with great service and more freedom to roam, was never truly replaced, the only real skilled outlet on the pitch was Sanchez... remember to be considered a world - class set - up man goals need to be scored and for much of his time here he has been surrounded by some incredibly inept finishers... in the end, I'm not sure how long he will be in North London, recent sentiments and his present contract situation seem to suggest that he will depart
at season's end, but how tragic would it be if once again we didn't put our best foot forward and failed to make those moves that could have brought championship football back to our once beloved club... so
when you think about this uniquely skilled
player don't be so quick to shift all the blame on his shoulders because he will not be the first or the last highly skilled
player to find disappointment
at the Emirates if we don't rid the club of those individuals that are truly to blame for our current woes
At madrid when he got the ball players started running at arsenal this does nt happen everyone just shows for the ball with our striker backing into the CB forcing ozil to pass sideway

He is the same
player he was
when he started getting games here: confident, athletic, above average shotstopper that
runs out
at every opportunity, makes a lot of mental mistakes, mishandles the ball a fair bit, and can't judge the flight of the ball well on set pieces.
