Season Passes as possible to people still in the hype of the game, instead of selling the
content when it is actually done and can be actually judged for its worth.
I've always felt it's screws over the initial buyers

content is released.
Of course, Square - Enix could supply recurring free
content too (they already do some of that with free updates in Final Fantasy XV), but I'm skeptical
when plenty of their big games have used a paid DLC /
Season Pass model.
When you pre-order games, you already get the option with certain franchises to purchase a
Season Pass for all DLC
content.

season pass we expect to get the
content.
Certainly makes me want to avoid buying another
season pass when SCEE are going to ignore any and all problems than come up
when the
content doesn't work / disappears.
When players buy a new title like Call of Duty or Fallout, they can also pay out for a «
season pass» that will buy them all subsequent map packs and
content additions, keeping them engaged in the product.
Those who own the
Season Pass on PC or Xbox One will have access to all of the new
content when it launches free of charge.
