Additionally, there's another aspect of the search process
where older applicant are often out of touch: the resume.

Gone are the
old days
where a senior hoping to meet a soul mate had to place a personal ad in the newspaper, then plan and execute a «meeting» with those
applicants deemed worthy of a meeting.
As to the first — along the lines of the
old one — there will be automatic and full remission
where the
applicant is receiving a prescribed means tested benefit or can demonstrate that their gross household benefit is below a threshold that probably entitles them to a benefit.
My experience as an
applicant for judicial appointment prompted me to wonder: if a state wants a more diverse judiciary, why apply
old ways of thinking,
where the same factors are considered regardless of background?
If you're an
older applicant, or you're applying for a large amount of life insurance coverage, you may also have to undergo an electrocardiogram, or EKG,
where the technician will put electrodes on your skin to measure your heart's electrical activity.
But unlike a traditional term life insurance,
where particularly
old or poor
applicants may be rejected, you're much more likely to be accepted.
An EKG may also be required for
older applicants or larger case sizes, or
where a previous heart condition is known.
Some employers still use
old scanning systems to store resumes, but most have now moved to automated
applicant tracking systems,
where the candidate completes an online form and then uploads his or her resume.
An
applicant tracking system shouldn't be a repository for
old resumes — it should be a system
where you can nurture your talent pool through the application and interview process.
The meat of this type of resume is the section concerning one's experience,
where the
applicant will list his or her positions in reverse - chronological order; meaning, the most current job appears first on the resume and the
oldest job, last.
