Say what you want about Theo but
which other player in our squad has scored as many hat tricks for the club?

Haas» second season
in F1 didn't quite reach the heights of their debut year
which saw a handful of top six finishes and served as a campaign
in which the team firmly established itself as a key
player in the midfield rather than a new
squad just there to make up the numbers, something we have been accustomed to with
other new teams
in recent years.
You cant escape he fact that Podolski was played rarely and when he was he was played out of position much the same way that Wenger has assembled a
squad of
players most of
which are a talented bunch, but, Wenger has failed to build a team who fit n with each
other, we have a midfield that overtly populated with
players who al excel
in the same role BUT have no solid defensive midfield talent and no options
in defence when
players have crap periods or are long term injury problems.
Steve Zabel, an Oklahoma tight end at the time, recalls the day Buck Nystrom, the offensive line coach, got peeved at the taxi -
squad players who were going against his linemen
in the «board drill,»
in which two
players lined up at opposite ends of an eight - foot - long plank and ran into each
other like mountain goats, the winner being the one left standing on the board.
this is what can really make our season when you know sanchez will leave for free next season why pay his wages sell him to psg and build a team
which can stay here for years give psg sanchez and 30 million and get draxler verati krychowiak even auriar if a deal falls through when you want to win league you sould have a big
squad with good
players on bench look at city manu and chelsea they all have good
players we need these 4
players there is no
player other then ozil who can create a goal for stricker or play a killer pass niether bellerin or oxlade can not play a good threatning ball when striker is
in the box if we get them
i am not too bothered by the manner we won today the most important thing is the 3 pts remember burnley beat liverpool not so long ago, also for the people who thought the title was already lost after just a few games (
which by the way was stupid to think) well not only man city got beaten but their team looked jaded / tired and even though they have a very good
squad they missed de bruyne terribly, it is not the same team without him they couldn, t create any chances
which is good news, it can, t be good for a team to depend so much on one
player (we should know a thing or two about this)
in case he gets injured hopefully we have moved on from this and can deal with injuries to our
players in case it happens to us, we had our fair share and it is time for us and to watch
other teams getting depleted, COYG.
I do nt know why, we have a very small team compared to
other bug clubs of our caliber that alone can send a
player off once he knows he's not going to play, our
squad players mostly get time to play during injury crisis... I could remember a point
in time when we loaned Bendtner to Juventus, they already have four strikers then,
in which minus Van Persie we have like half or no striker..
This is an incredibly difficult question to answer for a variety of reasons, most importantly because over the years our once vaunted «beautiful» style of play has become a shadow of it's former self, only to be replaced by a less than stellar «plug and play» mentality where
players play out of position and adjustments / substitutions are rarely forthcoming before the 75th minute... if you look at our current
players, very few would make sense
in the traditional Wengerian system... at present, we don't have the personnel to move the ball quickly from deep - lying position, efficient one touch midfielders that can make the necessary through balls or the disciplined and pacey forwards to stretch defences into wide positions, without the aid of the backs coming up into the final 3rd, so that we can attack the defensive lanes
in the same clinical fashion we did years ago... on this current
squad, we have only 1 central defender on staf, Mustafi, who seems to have any prowess
in the offensive zone or who can even pass two zones through so that we can advance play quickly out of our own end (I have seen some inklings that suggest Holding might have some offensive qualities but too early to tell)... unfortunately Mustafi has a tendency to get himself
in trouble when he gets overly aggressive on the ball... from our backs out wide, we've seen pace from the likes of Bellerin and Gibbs and the spirited albeit offensively stunted play of Monreal, but none of these
players possess the skill - set required
in the offensive zone for the new Wenger scheme
which requires deft touches, timely runs to the baseline and consistent crossing, especially when Giroud was playing and his ratio of scored goals per clear chances was relatively low (better last year though)... obviously I like Bellerin's future prospects, as you can't teach pace, but I do worry that he regressed last season,
which was obvious to Wenger because there was no way he would have used Ox as the right side wing - back so often knowing that Barcelona could come calling
in the off - season, if he thought otherwise... as for our midfielders, not a single one, minus the more confident Xhaka I watched played for the Swiss national team a couple years ago, who truly makes sense under the traditional Wenger model... Ramsey holds onto the ball too long, gives the ball away cheaply far too often and abandons his defensive responsibilities on a regular basis (doesn't score enough recently to justify): that being said, I've always thought he does possess a little something special, unfortunately he thinks so too... Xhaka is a little too slow to ever boss the midfield and he tends to telegraph his one true strength, his long ball play: although I must admit he did get a bit better during some points
in the latter part of last season... it always made me wonder why whenever he played with Coq Wenger always seemed to play Francis
in a more advanced role on the pitch... as for Coq, he is way too reckless at the wrong times and has exhibited little offensive prowess yet finds himself
in and around the box far too often... let's face it Wenger was ready to throw him
in the trash heap when injuries forced him to use Francis and then he had the nerve to act like this was all part of a bigger Wenger constructed plan... he like Ramsey, Xhaka and Elneny don't offer the skills necessary to satisfy the quick transitory nature of our old offensive scheme or the stout defensive mindset needed to protect the defensive zone so that our offensive
players can remain aggressive
in the final third... on the front end, we have Ozil, a
player of immense skill but stunted by his physical demeanor that tends to offend, the fact that he's been played out of position far too many times since arriving and that the
players in front of him, minus Sanchez, make little to no sense considering what he has to offer (especially Giroud); just think about the quick counter-attack offence
in Real or the space and protection he receives
in the German National team's midfield, where teams couldn't afford to focus too heavily on one individual... this
player was a passing «specialist» long before he arrived
in North London, so only an arrogant or ignorant individual would try to reinvent the wheel and / or not surround such a talent with the necessary components...
in regards to Ox, Walcott and Welbeck, although they all possess serious talents I see them
in large part as headless chickens who are on the injury table too much, lack the necessary first - touch and / or lack the finishing flair to warrant their inclusion
in a regular starting eleven; I would say that, of the 3, Ox showed the most upside once we went to a back 3, but even he became a bit too consumed by his pending contract talks before the season ended and that concerned me a bit... if I had to choose one of those 3
players to stay on it would be Ox due to his potential as a plausible alternative to Bellerin
in that wing - back position should we continue to use that formation...
in Sanchez, we get one of the most committed skill
players we've seen on this
squad for some years but that could all change soon, if it hasn't already of course... strangely enough, even he doesn't make sense given the constructs of the original Wenger offensive model because he holds onto the ball too long and he will give the ball up a little too often
in the offensive zone... a fact that is largely forgotten due to his infectious energy and the fact that the numbers he has achieved seem to justify the means... finally, and
in many ways most crucially, Giroud, there is nothing about this team or the offensive system that Wenger has traditionally employed that would even suggest such a
player would make sense as a starter... too slow, too inefficient and way too easily dispossessed... once again, I think he has some special skills and, at times, has showed some world - class qualities but he's lack of mobility is an albatross around the necks of our offence... so when you ask who would be our best starting 11, I don't have a clue because of the 5 or 6
players that truly deserve a place
in this side, 1 just arrived, 3 aren't under contract beyond 2018 and the
other was just sold to Juve... man, this is theraputic because following this team is like an addiction to heroin without the benefits
We also have some
other players in our
squad who are linked with the exit door, with current contract rebels Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil possible outgoings, but
which other players are no longer deemed worthy of a regular run of action
in our first - team?
No one is questioning Wenger's past achievements, but he has had three seasons and 5 transfer windows to get the necessary
players i.e a top sttiker and a dm
which are glaring deficiencies
in our
squad and yet he ignores it and this summer was an example of how delusional he has become, by making statements like there no
players available
which could improve our
squad, while treble winner barca even with their transfer ban get couple
in, same with Bayern, Madrid and all
other big clubs because they know you have constantly improve their
squads to compete, and by making that statement he implied that he has one of the best sqauds
in Europe, so can you please tell me whether you are optimistic about our chances against Bayern?

(1) this
squad has way too many moving parts and very few of our
players are good enough at their preferred position let alone relying on them
in whatever position Wenger and his magic eight ball decide
in the tunnel prior to the game... when teams do this it generally signals issues within the club, much like Jose last year and Van Gael before him... no one gets settled, the chemistry is almost non-existent and if provides a built -
in excuse when the team comes up short... these issues fall squarely on Wenger, both for his decisions regarding
players coming
in and for his inability to rid the team of those
players who aren't cutting it...
in actually fact we have only 6 real starters on this current
squad and that's being generous (Sanchez, Ozil, Lacazette, Sead, Kos & Cazorla)...
which is discouraging because Cazorla is injured and might never play again, Sanchez is wanting out and the club is lying to us about his injury status, Lacazette receives no service, Ozil is relatively disinterested out there, Kos is getting up there and Sead is just trying to settle
in... there isn't a single
other player that would start regularly on any of the
other top 3 teams,
which should be the standard... imagine this team moving forward if Wenger only sells before the window closes
Now I think there is still reasons to be cheerful, I agree Man C & Chelski have spent & bought some good
players, we all understand that 5 of those teams might be
in the CL proper
which is a huge distraction for those 4 - 5 teams.Chelsea will not be able to field the same 13 - 14
players all season, as for Man C they were very frail at the back last season, add to that 2 flying wing backs and I'm not sure they will be any better this coming season.LFC will most probably have CL as well if they qualify and haven't exactly bought great
players apart from Salah who could be a good aquasistion for them.Spuds have sold a good
player & strengthened a rival & still not bought a single
player yet, Man U have bought 2 good
players &
in Lukaku have a proven goal scorer
in the PL but if they play the same dour way they did last season & with the added games the CL brings will they perform week
in week out
in the league??? As for Everton yes they have released a lot of
players and also brought
in a lot too to give better quality
in the
squad as they have Europa league the same as US the big difference is I think we will play
squad players & youngsters maybe with a few senior
players all the way up to the QF This tells me most of our rivals will pave the way for us to field pretty much the same side every weekend
in the PL thus giving us an advantage over all the
other 5 teams playing
in the CL & Europa, just remember the League has been won
in the last 2 seasons by teams NOT
in Europe YES we are this season but I think Wenger will put all his eggs
in the League basket and field an under strength side
in all comps hence focusing on the League until we are no longer
in the race.
I think it has reached a point where enough is enough.the only way to save our club is if all fans are singing one thing and are together.there is no way we will anything while some guys sing only one arsene wenger and
others wenger out.we need to open our eyes and sing one song altogether only then can we propel change that is essential for our beloved club.if we keep going on this road then some fans will cme and regret when our club is officially a mid table team by then it would hve been too late for change.i told guys and will keep saying
which club
in there right mind would sell a key
player of there
squad with just days to go before window is shut.its clear we weren't intrested to invest into the market and yet again the club is showing us how ambitionless they are.sad but true our season has ended before it has even kicked off!!.
Although it will be incredibly difficult to ever match his contributions on the pitch, it's vitally important for a former club legend, like Henry, to publicly address his concerns regarding the direction of this club... regardless of those who still feel that Henry has some sort of agenda due to the backlash he received following earlier comments he made on air regarding Arsenal, he has an intimate understanding of the game, he knows the fans are being hosed and he feels some sense of obligation, both professionally and personally, to tell it like he sees it... much like I've continually expressed over the last couple months, this team isn't evolving under this current ownership / management team... instead we are currently experiencing a «stagnant» phase
in our club's storied history... a fact that can't be hidden by simply changing the formation or bringing
in one or two individuals... this team needs fundamental change
in the way it conducts business both on and off the pitch or it will continue to slowly devolve into a second tier club... regardless of the euphoria surrounding our escape act on Friday evening, as it stands, this club is more likely to be fighting for a Europa League spot for the foreseeable future than a top 4 finish... we can't hope for the failures of
others to secure our place
in the top 4, we need to be the manufacturers of our own success by doing whatever is necessary to evolve as an organization... if Wenger, Gazidis and Kroenke can't take the necessary steps following the debacle they manufactured last season, their removal is imperative for our future success... unfortunately, I strongly believe that either they don't know how to proceed
in the present economic climate or they are unwilling to do whatever it takes to turn this ship around... just look at the current state of our
squad, none of our world class
players are under contract beyond this season, we have a ridiculous wage bill considering the results, we can't sell our deadwood because we've mismanaged our personnel decisions and contractual obligations, we haven't properly cultivated our younger talent and we might have become one of the worst clubs ever when it comes to way we handle our transfer business,
which under Dein was one of our greatest assets... it's time to get things right!!!
The
player, who was included
in the Bundesliga team of the Season, will most certainly strengthen the Gunners»
squad and it remains to be seen as to how efficiently Le Prof can strengthen the team
in the
other areas
in which reinforcements are needed to make his plan even more efficient, especially with respect to a prolific goal - scorer.
Song, arguably our most improved
player is on 4 yellow cards and we should ensure that he doesn't miss the Chelsea game. The partnership of Gallas and Vermaelen is outstanding, yet one can not expect them to play
in every game, and it is
in that are we are weak
in cover. With regards to the full back situation, perm any two from four, that is Clichy, Gibbs, Eboue, Sagna and even Traore they are attacking wing backs and are always at risk on the quick counter attack by the opposition.Almunia still doesn't impress me and his command of his area is still indecisive and he is still vulnerable to letting goals
in, especially to his near post.Wenger being Wenger, I doubt he will buy
in January, and it is a pity we didn't go for Given months before he joined City, when he was available for a comparatively cheap price. This new diamond shape or 4 -1-4-1 is working well and we have an abundance of quality to interchange,
which bemuses the opposition more often than not.We have every chance this year, and we are also being helped by the fact that the
other so called big four sides are showing their vulnerability.A couple of decent signings, not
squad players in January, and hopefully we are
in the mix.
It would instead put less emphasis on one
player which in turn could bring the
squad closer together and allow
other players to step up to the plate.
The
squad is growing together, forming what has been called for for a long time: a team
in which every
player is fighting for the
others around him.
That's easier said than done, because you'll have to beware of
other players — you can play
in a
squad,
which does help — and the game periodically forces you to move to ever smaller and smaller parts of the island.
Worth mentioning is the new Squad Battle mode
in Ultimate Team,
which gives you the ability to play against
other people's
squads of footballer - Pokemon
in single
player, without having to go online.
