goodness i can't believe it people will still defend him.You know something when Giroud misses many chances like at Monaco i did not criticize him even based on that you know why?its because he has always not been clinical. The only way a team can improve is by indentifying its problems and solving them.Arsenal has Giroud as the main cf and Welbeck as backup to him.Giroud has done well scoring some goals some too important but collectively he does more harm than good.Do not use moments to judge a player judge him based on content.Giroud does not excel in many games than he excels in games. As a main cf you need to be consistent.I see people here saying Giroud can not dribble he cant do this he cant do that but its a bit crazy to criticize him
for that because every player has his own
style.Giroud limitations as a player costs arsenal and will cost us a lot. Most importantly his poor finishing
which has cost us several times. Not good enough. His
style of play is ok
for us but a striker who can take on players and run behind defences very well would make us very strong and also should be clinical.
For Welbeck he needs to works on his finishing and composure by doing the basic things right. He rushes infront of goal too much.
For now he is just above average. However he can excel if he works on improving.Giroud and Welbeck will always be a pain in arsenal's neck
for most part. Some will call me stupid but hey at least i want to analyze the problem.People may support Giroud or Welbeck to lead the line next season but as the saying
goes if you fool me once shame on you but if you fool me twice shame on me.Will you let Giroud and Welbeck fool you again?
I'll
go a step further if Van Djik hasn't signed
for Liverpool I would try to make a move and here is why: 1) Prem experience 2) Southampton plays a similar
style of football than Arsenal 3) He can play in both a 3 and 4 man defense with his ability on the ball 4) Mustafi has been up and down and I don't know
which one we're getting ahead of next season and will it be
for 38 weeks 5) Mertesacker will
go into a non playing role 6) Chambers has played well at Boro but well enough to play a big role into this team... not really and could be used in any deal
for Van Djik 7) Koscielny is our best defenders but is dealing with a chronic injury not only that he hasn't made the best decisions at times Everything mentioned above will free wages but also increase Wenger money to spend!
I think if Schniederlin or Kongdobia are signed this summer, it will give a big indication on
which style Arsene will be

This is an incredibly difficult question to answer
for a variety of reasons, most importantly because over the years our once vaunted «beautiful»
style of play has become a shadow of it's former self, only to be replaced by a less than stellar «plug and play» mentality where players play out of position and adjustments / substitutions are rarely forthcoming before the 75th minute... if you look at our current players, very few would make sense in the traditional Wengerian system... at present, we don't have the personnel to move the ball quickly from deep - lying position, efficient one touch midfielders that can make the necessary through balls or the disciplined and pacey forwards to stretch defences into wide positions, without the aid of the backs coming up into the final 3rd, so that we can attack the defensive lanes in the same clinical fashion we did years ago... on this current squad, we have only 1 central defender on staf, Mustafi, who seems to have any prowess in the offensive zone or who can even pass two zones through so that we can advance play quickly out of our own end (I have seen some inklings that suggest Holding might have some offensive qualities but too early to tell)... unfortunately Mustafi has a tendency to get himself in trouble when he gets overly aggressive on the ball... from our backs out wide, we've seen pace from the likes of Bellerin and Gibbs and the spirited albeit offensively stunted play of Monreal, but none of these players possess the skill - set required in the offensive zone
for the new Wenger scheme
which requires deft touches, timely runs to the baseline and consistent crossing, especially when Giroud was playing and his ratio of scored goals per clear chances was relatively low (better last year though)... obviously I like Bellerin's future prospects, as you can't teach pace, but I do worry that he regressed last season,
which was obvious to Wenger because there was no way he would have used Ox as the right side wing - back so often knowing that Barcelona could come calling in the off - season, if he thought otherwise... as
for our midfielders, not a single one, minus the more confident Xhaka I watched played
for the Swiss national team a couple years ago, who truly makes sense under the traditional Wenger model... Ramsey holds onto the ball too long, gives the ball away cheaply far too often and abandons his defensive responsibilities on a regular basis (doesn't score enough recently to justify): that being said, I've always thought he does possess a little something special, unfortunately he thinks so too... Xhaka is a little too slow to ever boss the midfield and he tends to telegraph his one true strength, his long ball play: although I must admit he did get a bit better during some points in the latter part of last season... it always made me wonder why whenever he played with Coq Wenger always seemed to play Francis in a more advanced role on the pitch... as
for Coq, he is way too reckless at the wrong times and has exhibited little offensive prowess yet finds himself in and around the box far too often... let's face it Wenger was ready to throw him in the trash heap when injuries forced him to use Francis and then he had the nerve to act like this was all part of a bigger Wenger constructed plan... he like Ramsey, Xhaka and Elneny don't offer the skills necessary to satisfy the quick transitory nature of our old offensive scheme or the stout defensive mindset needed to protect the defensive zone so that our offensive players can remain aggressive in the final third... on the front end, we have Ozil, a player of immense skill but stunted by his physical demeanor that tends to offend, the fact that he's been played out of position far too many times since arriving and that the players in front of him, minus Sanchez, make little to no sense considering what he has to offer (especially Giroud); just think about the quick counter-attack offence in Real or the space and protection he receives in the German National team's midfield, where teams couldn't afford to focus too heavily on one individual... this player was a passing «specialist» long before he arrived in North London, so only an arrogant or ignorant individual would try to reinvent the wheel and / or not surround such a talent with the necessary components... in regards to Ox, Walcott and Welbeck, although they all possess serious talents I see them in large part as headless chickens who are on the injury table too much, lack the necessary first - touch and / or lack the finishing flair to warrant their inclusion in a regular starting eleven; I would say that, of the 3, Ox showed the most upside once we
went to a back 3, but even he became a bit too consumed by his pending contract talks before the season ended and that concerned me a bit... if I had to choose one of those 3 players to stay on it would be Ox due to his potential as a plausible alternative to Bellerin in that wing - back position should we continue to use that formation... in Sanchez, we get one of the most committed skill players we've seen on this squad
for some years but that could all change soon, if it hasn't already of course... strangely enough, even he doesn't make sense given the constructs of the original Wenger offensive model because he holds onto the ball too long and he will give the ball up a little too often in the offensive zone... a fact that is largely forgotten due to his infectious energy and the fact that the numbers he has achieved seem to justify the means... finally, and in many ways most crucially, Giroud, there is nothing about this team or the offensive system that Wenger has traditionally employed that would even suggest such a player would make sense as a starter... too slow, too inefficient and way too easily dispossessed... once again, I think he has some special skills and, at times, has showed some world - class qualities but he's lack of mobility is an albatross around the necks of our offence... so when you ask who would be our best starting 11, I don't have a clue because of the 5 or 6 players that truly deserve a place in this side, 1 just arrived, 3 aren't under contract beyond 2018 and the other was just sold to Juve... man, this is theraputic because following this team is like an addiction to heroin without the benefits
total failure... Can you believe Wenger spent 32 millions on 2 average players (Chambers and Welbeck) and is penny pinching when is sbout real class players? What is in his mind?Pay a fortune in salary
for mediocre players live Walcott, Ramsey and Wilshere and have hesitations about increasing Sanchez wages... keeping on books failures like Sanogo... The truth is - I say it
for years and years - until the «British core» disapears, we are not
going to be succesful. The low quality of British players is dragging the team back.Last time Arsenal was a powerhouse NONE of the first 11 was British.Wanna see how the British quality looks like in a football team - look no further than national sides of England, Scotland, N Ireland, Wales, even Ireland (not British but same
style)- all mediocre teams «able» to be defeated by any team coming to mind. And you are asking about Chambers? He is in the same mold like Wilshere,Walcott,Ox,Ramsey,Gibs,Jenkinson - mediocre overpriced and overpaid players. The world is full with hungry, ambitious and skilled players living in poverty and dreaming of moving to the top at any cost or sacrifice (did you see the poor house - if you can call that house, looking more like an old tent - in
which Alexis Sanchez grew up?Or Suarez?)
The CL is a complete different animal, you play against teams with different
styles and when you
go against them you need to switch gears and change your dynamics altogether just
for that game, and then 3, 4 days later
go back and play EPL football,
which let's not hide it is physically much more demanding...... these favors teams who don't play European football and the results are there, they have been more consistent.

It's this reluctance to spend on defence

style of play when they cant get the ball they

Why can't people
for God sake understand the angle the young man was coming from, this is a guy who has come out to suggest what he feel will be of great glory to the team, futbol is about winning trophy not the samba, champaign, tick taka or jambody
style Of playwill be accredited to ur cv after retirement, every professional player will wants to be identify with a medal, mind you he have limited years to his career, therefore we should not allow sentment or affections we have
for our various teams erode the basic objective of the game.we should also think about their future too, this guys are proffessionals
which young lads are looking up to and questions will be ask tomorrow about theirs playing days.can people tell me why pele and some other famous players in the world both present and past are been celebrated today the answer is simply cos they are successful in their career and have trophy to show
for it in their respective clubs or countries, why the complain in nigeria?its simply cos our team
for quite a while now has not recorded any troph to her glory, fans should learn how to call a spade a spade in order to balance situation and also
for better performance of the team.why then did arsene wenger hurridly
went to buy more experienced players after the poor outing he had at the beggining of last season?this players know beta cos they are at the centre of it all, we don't have to trash what they say, we fans are only watching from screen, in as much as we beliv in arsen wenger, we should also know that without the boys no arsen wenger, fans should try to reason along with the players too.an hypotetical cases of similar to rvp has been tested by some players and have put them right over the coach and the team.so, whatelse does the fans needs to prove that futbol has
gone beyond living in the past.
for example, fabrigas and nasri were able to prove their critics wrong.thank God
for them, we should always be objective in our submission, how else do we expect players to show their commitment to a team that was in 8 on the log table and later fought their way back to 3rd this boys are commendable and deserve to be encouraged, I think is high time the manager and the mgt board of arsenal futbol team get to know that game of futbol has
gone beyond two teams domination, its now like a pendilum
which can swing either way only with a powerful insrument called money.you can't eat ur cake and have.
I think we need spain players with qualities, like Carzola
for example... A player of Carzola's qualities can easily catch up with our game not like Olivier Giroud that is taking a lot of time to adapt to the premier league game, so if i should select the kind of players we should be having i'll
go for 2 strikers
which are Roberto Soldado of Valencia and Falcao who is out of our limit cos there're a lot of clubs on him in
which we know Arsene wenger is not the type of Man that compete when it comes to buying quality players so what i suggest is that Mr wenger should
go to Spain and pack as much as he can pack into the squad and let them all play Spain type of football similar to barcelona's
style of play
which everyone knows...
His exceptional off the ball movement and «give and
go» playing
style created panic amongst City defenders,
which helped create spaces
for other United players as well.
As I mentionned above that ive just watched all the Arsenal game 2007 and 2008, Ive personnaly gave up with this idea of strngthenin our defence. Its obvious, we need CDM, and I strongly recommend Toure
for that job, but finally, I found out our main PBM: AW is a man who beleives in: THE BEST DEFENCE IS ATTACKIN.He has built the team that way. When I watched our 2007 games, i could see that most of these teams who has defeated us this season played exactly the same
style of game last season but they couldnt perform so much as our attackin side were so strong
for them so that they were always held at their own defensive side. The game is completely Psycological. At the 1st 10mn of the game, they try to attack @their best, but just when we start attackin then all their mdlfldr start to pull back coz most of our attack are all dangerous. And this is what makes the diffrence between the so called BIG 4 and the rest of the league. The Pbm isnt really that our defence is so weak, It is our attack
which is WEAK.Durin the first half of this season, Our guys couldnt perform any attackin strategy planned by AW, coz 1st: they were new to it, coz they have only practiced it durin trainin session.2 nd: Some of the key players are
gone.3 rd: Even AW did nt know where exactly is the best position
for those new players, the likes of Nasri, Vela, and some of them were all subsitute last year.Plus they are all young players who can improve and change their
style game after game.
So you get rid of two of your crap players and get one of our best so whats in it
for us or are you also giving us that 50 ml on top of them because that would be the only way it could happen.Berbs
went because he was a shit and carrick well he was much the same.Difference is now we are closing on you and if we can get a striker in january then we will be even closer so why would our guys want to
go there. Also with cry baby rooney getting a massive pay rise how long before berbs, giggs, scholes and the rest are knocking at the door. That was a very bad move by mannure your wage structure is about to explode out the door and how are you
going to pay
for that.If Bale was to
go there i bet he would be looking at least 150k a week
which with rooneys wage rise seems fair.Add to that his price tag
for buying him and well it looks like it could cost you at lot more than 50 ml.I know if i was his agent i would be saying to mannure if you want himyou have to pay him a wage up there with rooneys. You have shot yourselves in the foot big
style with rooney to the point can you now afford to buy any more players?
