Side sleepers tend to like medium - to - soft mattresses,
while back and stomach
sleepers prefer firmer mattresses.
You can even position this
sleeper so that it hangs over your
side of the bed
while still giving your baby enough space of his or her own if you prefer, too.

Side sleepers experience more pressure on their shoulders and hips,
while back
sleepers feel pressure on their backs and necks.
But there are also co-
sleepers and «by your
side sleepers» you can use to keep your baby close to you at night
while also keeping them safe.
Similarly, dog beds with raised
sides on them are also more comfortable for dogs who want to lean against the
side and have back support
while they sleep (i.e.,
side sleepers).
