Similarly to other bean flours, you will want to store
white bean flour in an airtight container, preferably in the freezer, where it will likely last months.
If you'd like to make this recipe a little healthier, try
using white bean flour, instead of the potato starch.

I'm going to
order white bean flour — which is also available from Azure Standard — and wanting to make some kind of flatbread / tortilla (gf) with it.
Hi Anne, I wasn't able to create a flatbread with enough structure using
only white bean flour, but I've seen some other interesting grain - free recipes, like socca (chickpea flour flatbread), or psyllium husk bread (google «Life - changing loaf of bread»), which I tasted when my friend made it and it was great!
I decided to share them here, and at the bottom I've included the
best white bean flour recipe that I came up with so far: a pizza dough that works well for any pizza or flatbread.
Arrowroot does work really well together with chickpea flour in GF flour blends so I bet there would be a way to work it in with
white bean flour too.
I didn't know what I was getting into when I selected a $ 3 bag
of white bean flour, but I love white beans so I thought I'd give it a try!
At this point it should be a little on the liquidy side, and that's when I add

some white bean flour, because it is so much healthier for you than refined grain flours, and it works really well to thicken sauces and soups.

the white bean flour on Amazon.
Add
the white bean flour, flax meal, whole wheat flour, and salt to a mixing bowl and stir together.
Cover with a damp towel and let rest for 10 - 15 minutes (this is because the whole wheat and
white bean flours are so absorbent - if you try to knead the dough right away you will end up adding too much extra flour).
I have a gluten - free version of
this white bean flour flatbread on my recipe development list, but I need to nail that one first before trying grain - free again!
Better yet, aside from
the white bean flour, it uses normal, common ingredients that you likely already have!
