I do realize that I'm putting
white fabric on the chairs, but I'm
too stubborn and love the
fabric too much to change my mind now, so I purchased a few extra yards for the future changings I'm sure they might need.

white trim doesn't cause any irritation around the waist or legs.

I picked
white, black and navy as my neutrals, making sure I had basic pieces in these colours (dresses, shorts, skirts) and then added bright pink and electric blue as accent colours (shoes, scarves, purse, jewlery — or they played a role in the
fabric patterns of my clothes... Oh and I may have had a pair of bright pink shorts in there
too!)
I put the cover on and realized that there was a bit
too much horizontal give in the
fabric, so I took it off again, put the green cover on again and then slipped the
white fur cover over top.
Get creative and use a
white ink marker and a darker black or navy
fabric too!
Pure
white just would have looked
too new for this house, the
fabrics and upholstery I had — this shade has a hint of yellow so it gives it a real authentic old world look.
And I've heard that over bleaching can cause yellow stains on some
fabrics, which can be a problem on
white sofas
too.
