I definitely wouldn't recommend eating this everyday, but for a special treat on the weekened this was amazing and much healthier than refined
white flour waffles topped with high fructose corn syrup.
These are not your standard
white flour waffles... the oats and buckwheat make for a denser, heartier, more nutritious waffle.

However, rather making a reach for
white flour and wasting away a ton of nutrients, just crisp them up a minute or two longer than normal in the
waffle iron.
We already mostly use whole wheat
flour for health reasons when making
waffles, pancakes, and baked goods, but you could make this same substitution if you were using
white flour.
