the white gallery space, and provide a moment of calm from the mythical madness.
Directed by Mark Romanek, the final video will be edited from the six hours Jay - Z spent that day performing «Picasso Baby» over and over again in
the white gallery space.
While Dappled Light stands out in the open, braving the elements, the Victoria Miro sculptures (except for two bold pieces tolerating the terrace) remain closeted inside, their rough bronze at odds with the clean

Flying Cube, a
white cube floating in the center of the exhibition
space, challenges gravity and activates the traditional
gallery space.
In the confusing serenity of the
space, encircled by glossy
white surfaces, viewers are challenged to distance their minds from the imagery of the other exhibition
galleries.
The artist creates works as signifiers of the destruction of the natural world by «colonial powers», via a series of tabletops containing mineral fragments and photographs of equatorial scrublands.The minerals are representative of the original environment now re-contextualized within the
white cube of the
gallery space becoming «art», and forming a dialectic concerning «value».
