We ended up going with a smaller subway tile that we'll install with
white grout for a really clean look.

So,
for the shower, we went
for basic
white subway tile, but opted
for the pattern above with dark
grout, to add a graphic element.
Then I added the same color I used
for the
grout randomly on the painted brick
for a
white - washed effect.
Consider a

grout color, or get wild with pops of different color tiles set in unpredictable places

for a marble look alike countertop.
You can also use other designs, such as black tiles with
white grout and
white tiles with black
grout,
for your kitchen floor.
Finally, the pizza surround features a glossy green hexagonal glass mosaic tile with bright
white grout, and a stainless edge
for an industrial feel.
We also tiled the backsplash with classic
white subway tile from Home Depot and we used gray
grout for contrast in a color called Deloreon Gray.
