This is why I love to pair white clothes with other natural colors like gold or beige — they make it look warmer without sacrificing the pureness of
the white items you are wearing.
Not exact matches
Show off your patriotism this weekend by
wearings items that
were Made In America or styling some red,
white and blue.
Since it
's black and
white, it
's very easy to pair with other
items (which, as you might know,
is very important for me and that
's why I
wear black and
white all the time).
The fringed jacket and the red fringed top
are my fav
items, while I just want to
wear the total
white look with the off the shoulder top and the camel details right now!
Since it
's summer, I've paired it with two
items you've seen me
wear before (and that have
been on repeat in my summer wardrobe)-- my Charlotte Russe Espadrille Wedges and my LOFT
white skinny jeans (see here for the story of my desperate search for
white skinnies!).
One of my favorite
items to
wear for Spring
are white blouses.
I
wore this one with my favorite
white cami that comes in a few colors and
is one of the best «cost per
wear (CPW)»
items in my closet.
I mean, not only did I choose
white jeans as one of my Top 10 Remix
items, I've
been known to
wear white pants in all seasons!
In the same way that a green
item might
be bought and
worn only on St Patrick's, it can
be challenging to
wear red /
white / blue without invoking thoughts of the flag or a national holiday.
I complement it with my
white frame sunglasses instead (

are another absolutely timeless
item that I have
been wearing and enjoying for many years!).
I have
been loving all things lace lately and have actually added quite a bit of lace detailed
items to my wardrobe this spring, from my
white Birthday dress I
wore for yesterdays post here, to todays lace number that I can't wait to show you.
One such
item is a
white t shirt, you can
wear it in a lot of ways and layer it up with different tops.
Lastly, these
white espadrilles and this woven crossbody have
been my most -
worn items this spring (and will continue to
be into the summer).
These
items can all
be worn with low top converse shoes, because all 3
items are either pale colours or close to
white.

The one
item I've never thought to
wear however
is a
white swimsuit.

I have a basic
white and a basic black t - shirt dress and they
are some of my most -
worn items in my closet.
The only specialty
item you'll need
is white cream makeup and color contacts (as long as you
're comfortable
wearing them).
To me those investment pieces
are a perfect
white blazer, super soft tees, killer heels, and a lust - worthy handbag;
items that can
be paired together and
worn all of the time.
I agree about
white, I
wear it all year round, my favourite winter
item is a soft
white wool coat, it goes beautifully with grey and camel and I always feel great in it.
The only
item I have several of, but don't tend to
wear much,
is the classic
white shirt.
For example this
white DRESSMANN shirt and LEVI»S denim shorts which I've
worn together a lot since they
're one of my fav go - to combos for summer and because I love coming up with new ways to
wear my fav
items.
I
am wearing my favorite floral kimono from Jacket Society (I believe it
is sold out, but she has other kimonos to pick from) and a few new
items from Old Navy - such as this
white tank, black denim pants AND (eek!)
So as much as I love to
wear black in winter, lots of
white items are finding their way into my wardrobe in spring / summer.
A few of the
items are currently on sale including some of my favorite statement earrings and basic
white and black blouses that I
wear with everything!
I think single color ensembles only work when the same colors appear in different shadings which
is why I could never
wear two different navy, black or
white items together — the colors
are NEVER the same.
And granted, while I
'm wearing a
white dress here, I like to think each
item really stands the
white shirt rule — meaning I should probably expand my definition to include
white dresses as well.
When I
'm considering a new piece,
be it earrings, a necklace, or a ring, I try to imagine how that
item would make me feel if I
were only
wearing a simple,
white button down shirt and casual, Saturday jeans.
Try packing in a color scheme (i.e. black and
white, or neutrals) and choose a few
items to change into that compliment what you
're already
wearing to the gym.
If you
're wearing one pastel clothing
item like a blazer or shirt, keep the rest of the outfit simple and in a neutral color like
white, as this will make your pastel stand out.
In the pictures I
'm wearing a black silk shirt instead of a
white which makes the look a bit dressier and easier to transition to a night out, not to mention I
wore heels instead of boots so my point
is, with the change with just a few pieces you can create a total different vibe, so invest on quality everyday pieces;)

Every imposition has a consequence, however subtle it may

be stung instead; run over the same area of grass long enough and it will
wear away into a dirt path; plant a red rose and a
white rose together, and find a pink rose growing one day from their cross-pollination.
