The
white rice flour can not be
substituted with brown
rice flour, or anything else.
I recently developed an intense love of coconut and always harbored one for sweet potatoes so I'm very eager to try this, though will have to
substitute the
white rice for brown.
Note: you can also
substitute traditional
white rice for the orzo, just cook it in the pot longer, about 20 minutes instead of 10 minutes.
I rarely like anything but
white rice to munch on and to combine with Asian dishes, but the farro is a perfect
substitute for
rice in the several Asian dishes i've tried it with — doesn't compete with the flavor of the sauce and, again, firm but not crunchy.
I ran out of
rice vinegar so

I have been reading every post, and I GET that the sweet
white rice can not be
substituted, however it looks like the brown and
white rices CAN be
substituted.

rice syrup, and brown or

I didn't have
white rice flour, so I
substituted Bob's Red Mill All - Purpose Gluten Free flour.
A vegetable stir - fry and some
white rice can be
substituted with cooking some chicken or tofu stir - fry with some veggies and basmati
rice added.
