I like to use a combination of
white and black
sesame seeds because it looks nice, but feel free to use one or the other if that's what you have
on hand.
So here, I'm dipping these pretty flower - shaped rings, in a maple - chipotle - spiced coconut oil sauce, then I press them
on both sides into black and
white sesame seeds, and roast them until they get a crispy
sesame crust, and are perfectly soft and creamy
on the inside.
