Turns out I was extra lucky
because this
White Out Challenge actually gave me the opportunity to complete a personal fashion goal, find some new
skirts for this summer!
A couple bonus items made it to the list that I think will sell big this year including a GORGEOUS leather
skirt (that is a little pricey,
because it's leather) and a black and
white scarf since gingam is so popular right now.
I love the effect of this
skirt because of the pleats that make the
skirt look pink but shows the
white inside the pleats.
Inspiration includes: an all - black look (
because it always works) consisting of either a turtleneck tucked into a pencil
skirt or some sort of sexy but not too sexy black dress, a slinky silk gown and my favorite leather jacket, cream jumpsuit and some oxblood - shaded lipstick, or a pair of rhinestone chandelier earrings worn with my crispiest
white tee and high - rise dark denim

because I'm wearing a black and
white striped
skirt with a layered yellow sweater, black boots and a black faux fur vest!
I was smiling at all of the
white dresses and
skirts in my closet this weekend

because this set does not hold books on the shelves that well and you can only fit 2 - 3 per shelf.
I am not brave enough to wear
white pants (I'm not even sure I'll be able to pull off the cream lace
skirt I just got),
because I'm usually not the neatest person, so I'd prob get them dirty.
I also love the asymmetrical
skirt because I can see it being paired with a basic
white tank and nude blazer.
Because white is a non-color go with any other, but if you want volume in the lower body, wide
white trousers,
skirt trousers are almost to a highly chic.
I've always loved this
skirt but haven't worn it in a long time
because I would only wear a
white sweater or a
white shirt with it and I felt like that was so boring.
Today I'm focusing on a classic
white skirt — I chose to highlight this one
because it has a slight a-line shape (which means it will flatter most figures) and it has pretty lace detailing that make it the perfect elevated basic.

skirt because I ran out of fabric am a total renegade.
