Not exact matches
When I glance down, I can
see my toenails are painted a shade of vampy maroon, my feet sit flat against a
white tile floor covered in a hideous patina of flour, sugar, and fiber particles that have migrated from the jute runner in the hallway.
I can still
see the power plant's corridors, long silent except for the clicking of the guide's heels on the black - and -
white tiles.
If we mask the rest of the
tiles with
white (above, right), you can
see that the
tiles on the left cube are actually orange and that the
tiles on the right are purple.
She sent me this photo of the kitchen in their 100 - year old farmhouse: She wanted to
see butcher block counters and
white subway
tiles, and she wanted the space to feel a little more -LSB-...]

You may have
seen photos or video of the foyer, which has an intricate multi-colored
tile design, and I thought about continuing that into this room, but ended up deciding on a more simple black and
white marble checker.You can
see that the faucet is already starting to get those watermarks I was hoping from the unlacquered brass!
It is hard to
see here, but the counter top was black

You can tell it's something quite special from the moment you enter and
see the lobby's pretty vintage
tiled floor, bookcase of antique documents and hallways full of old black and
white family photos and colourful painted portraits.

I already have nice whirlpool gold stainless steel appliances and I plan on doing a
tile backsplash which will help but I wanted the nice
white shaker style door and have not
seen that offered at home depot or Lowe's.
After
seeing the
tile go in, I have decided on
white for the walls.
Originally when I
saw the title of the post before I
saw the picture, I was thinking typical black and
white checkerboard floor
tiles.

Love the progress... love the
white tiles and bench tops... can't wait to
see it when cabinets have been painted!
The black is solid throughout the
tile so if it chips or has an exposed edge you don't
see white.
^ ^ ^ with the help of our awesome friend thomas, we took out the laminate countertop (you can
see what it looked like in a few photos above) and replaced it with a simple
white counter, and we added a
white subway
tile backsplash behind the counter.

Try throwing a slip cover in there, it will do the tango across your lovely
white tile, leave all spots on your slipcovers, and even with the soak cycle, some numnuts engineer decided to lock the machine while it is going, so I can't even
see what the problem is.
Our granite and

We've had our hearts set on (eventually) installing some kind of ming green and thassos

If you have paid attention, black kitchens have been
seen in many interior magazines lately, but we are not talking about the old black kitchens, and we are certainly not talking about just any dark color for kitchen cabinets, we're talking about a moody dark grey, almost black, which creates a beautiful contrast when combined with
white subway
tile backsplash with a light grey grout,
white countertop, brass accents and shiplap.
The glossy green
tiles are darker than usually
seen in a small scheme, but are lifted with
white furnishings.
I am DYING to do
white subway
tile and am thrilled to
see that HD has it.
The patterned cement floor
tiles continue the graphic black and
white scheme

You'll
see here she painted her cabinets
white, used the same hardware, faucet and
tile, but with a darker grout.
The sapphire blue, moss green, and
white pillows play off the colors
seen in the Moroccan
tile fabric on the furniture and the dragonfly pillow adds some additional visual interest.

As you can
see I'm still a fan of the
white subway
tile, I can't help it.
When I
saw this black and
white tile by Stone Peak Ceramics, I was sold!
I'm trying out some
white tile to
see how that might help the situation.
How many times have I
seen a bathroom, public or private, that has great
white or cream subway type
tile and then accent
tile that totally dates it, either by color or design.
