This country certainly does not cater to religious beliefs, given that you can't even say the word «
pray»
in a
public school anymore, and we have a president
who is pushing for everyone to pay for contraceptives.
But we must remember that the Lord's Prayer is not a prayer taught to the general
public, but a disciple's prayer; it is a prayer intended to be
prayed by people
who recognize that God has acted and is acting as king
in their experience.
