The other, more involved way to use flax seed as an egg substitute is to
boil whole flax seeds with water which extracts the gel, strain the flax gel off then discard the flax seeds.
* To substitute the eggs with flax meal, for each egg use 1
Tablespoon whole flax meal mixed with 3 Tablespoons water.
1 1/2 cups gluten free flour 1/3 cup grapeseed oil 1
tbl whole flax seeds, ground and then whisked with 3 tbl water 1/4 cup hemp milk (or any milk substitute of your choice) 1 tsp.
If you can't get pre-ground flax seed meal, but

I would use ground chia seed and
not whole flax seed if I was going to try it out though.
