i do nt think that walcott is a bad
player cause we all saw what he could do in season 12/13 in 13/14 het scored 5 goals in 5
games and then got the horrible injury and in 14/15 the
whole crowd shouted THEO THEO THEO when walcott (and podolski i think) came in
for a
game we were leading then, after that
game in his next start which özil also started after his injury, both of them scored immediately..
Ive been supporting Arsenal
for 65 years to say im dissapointed, well words fail me Why did we let the window slip by and not do the business in the begining get in quick and get our
players signed and out as well but NO we buggered about with the DREAMER
for 6 weeks dithering with expensive so called talent and what we get another Frenchman, soon we will be able to say we have the
whole french international team here The way to go is to boycott the home
games and make it known the fans run the club not the useless manager or the lackluster board who do nt know who plays
for us and are not interested in football per say just the money Buy Kroenke out and let him go as well
Its quite unfortunate that Wenger is yet to find and still searching
for a better
player to add quality to the team at his disposal, my take is, the problem limiting Arsenal as a
whole not claiming any major trophy is our high record with injuries and the coach inability to select the right
player for the right spot, no genuine back up
for some crucial positions, if and only if we can sort the injury issue out and Wenger selecting the right
player at the right time and in the right
game, then we're good to go.
Now hopefully over his injury problems and growing in confidence after a run in the team in recent weeks, Oxlade - Chamberlain showed yesterday that he can be a big -
game player for the club, and his form in attack could give Arsene Wenger's side a
whole new dimension to their
game, with the youngster providing a little more width, pace and directness than
players like Mesut Ozil and Santi Cazorla in that area.
For Liverpool fans this is not welcome news, it is one thing losing Benitez to Juventus but a
whole new ball
game if they lose him to Man City, with the money City have it will make Liverpool fans very nervous about the club being able to hang on to its best
players.

for our tactics.

game Wenger could have done a
whole lot about and I think that it's still hard
for us to buy really top quality
players to shove on the bench.
If ElNeny can improve a bit on his
whole game then he could be a great
player, he is showing determination to fight
for the badge and that is a quality I like, he shouldn't be overlooked.
Im all
for backing our
players but Giroud better than Higuain is buffoonery don't be fooled because he plays
for Napoli he's maintained a goal every 2
games ratio his
whole career and he's a special finisher with our midfield he would be unstoppable Aguero didn't used to get benched
for the national team
for him
for no reason
We can dissect this
game at length, and we will, but
for me it boils down to individual
players and the
whole team not playing well.
No they want a manager that leaves him on
for the
whole game, not take him of after 65 minutes how many
games has he played the full 90 minutes another great
player Wenger tears the heart out of every
player he touches.
The English
players that Wenger had brought through the Arsenal system all seem to have ongoing injury problems, and although Wilshere and Walcott have been given some cameo roles in the last couple of
games, the
whole starting XI that have taken the field
for the last six
games have ALL been foreigners (except
for the Welshman Aaron Ramsey I guess).
Come the other year when Arsenal went the
whole season without a defeat in the Premier League, Barcelona were attracted by Marc Overmas and Emmanue Petti, the two joined Barcelona, they played few
games, and sometime on the bench, as a result Emmanue Petti decided to go back to England and joined New - Castle and always regret leaving Arsenal, then the other year it was Alexander Hleb, he was the best dribller in Arsenal team, he went again to Barcelona, he was never given some
games, I think he only played few
games as a sub, and his carrier was destroyed by Barcelona, then come Henry, he again went to Barcelona, he played some
games but not like he used to do at Arsenal, he was not looking like a star
player anymore, he decided to go to America, then there was Fabrigas, he joined Barcelona again, since he was one of their juniors, I think he played
for two seasons, and supporter used to booing him, he decided to come back to Arsenal, by then Arsenal had already resplaced him with Ozil, and he joined Chelsea, then come Alexander Song, he pushed to go to Barcelona, he was always on the banch, and never been on first eleven, then he ended up regreting joing Barcelona, and wanted to go back to Arsenal, but normally Wenger do not take
players who pushed themselves to be out of Arsenal, lastly there was Vermuleen, he went to Barcelona and ended up not playing at all but when playing
for Arsenal they used to be star
players.

game for us all on his own... Just because of him the
whole balance of the team is unsettled...
Why persist with Elneny and Coquelin the
whole game should have at least taken off one of them
for a more attack minded or creative
player in the second half.No guile at all today and too much reliance on individual play to try and create something.
Our
player of the season so far?Certainly the most consistent.JACK AND OZIL CONTRACTS - just get them signed up
for F *** S SAKE.Jack doesn't want to go anywhere and Ozil will have his choice of big clubs to choose from if allowed to be able to go on a free. How about giving out a statement of our ambitions (yeah right) and show were prepared to pay whatever it takes (up to the point of being ridiculous) to SIGN the best and KEEP the best» These two are the best we have so get them sorted early to send out a message of how serious we intend to be.AUBAMEYANG - So what if he has a contract. So did Sanchez.Offer the right money to Dortmund and the
player and he will be ours. What is there to question over this deal?He is a proven goalscorer. We have just lost one.Get the deal done.GIROUD - Get rid of him to Dortmund if they want him either by selling or if it sweetens the deal just loan him till the end of the season. He was a back up when Sanchez was here and will be on the mix of back ups if Auba signs. He has a World Cup squad to fight
for just to be considered so needs to be playing every week.We do not need him if Auba signs and would demand better than him if the deal fails to happen.Just get rid.JONNY EVANS - I'm not sure.Agree Kos needs nursing through
games and we do not have consistent performers to come in if he is injured or rested mainly due to both Chambers and Holdimg not progressing through as much as we first thought and hoped
for.Gooners have always been patient and supportive of the youngsters as they have come through but question marks to the
whole coaching staff as to why these two seem to have stalled as much as they have done.Steve Bould - What do you do?You should be ashamed.
But we haven't challenged
for the PL title
for many years, and these are the problems, that we seem to have constantly: 1) We are letting in too many goals 2) «Physical teams» often seem to be able to beat us 3) We always loose too many points in the internal
games against top opponents 4) We always have too many injuries 5) We have many matches, where the team seem unmotivated
for at least one half In a single match or even a few matches, you can blame individual
players or even the
whole team
for problems like the above.
The evidence shows that he doesn't, he coasts through
games and, as someone above has already mentioned only comes into his own if, on the day, the

for his assists but a
player of his supposed calibre should be doing more than providing the odd assist.

Elneny is a
whole different
player and has his own strengths but some
games require that
player with a death touch to get you out of trouble and pitch in with goals,
for this reason I would propose either Isco or Pjanic.

A club run by joe Lewis lol when was the last fuking time Spurs won a trophy give it a fuking rest Wenger has won more trophies then spuds in their
whole fuking history Sick of plastic fans constantly knocking the manager and
players like you are fuking genius experts in knowing all about football We have the worst fan base in football a bunch of ingrates Why would any top
player come and join Arsenal when they see how fans treat their own
players like ozil Lol at people talking about Spurs and pool fukers don't win any trophies but their fans stay loyal ours turn nasty every
game werther we win or lose It won't change even if we get a new manager they will turn on him at first defeat What we need is
for the vocal minority of plastic key board fans to fuk off and stop bringing the club down Coyg
To play the pressing
game, the
whole team needs to have tactical and positional awareness to know when to press and when to back and when we field
players like Ramsey or Iwobi there is no chance
for success.
I still don't understand people's obsession with boxing
players in to a specific role... The
whole «true DM» is a dying breed, even Coquelin is arguably something else considering the advanced positions he takes up often in front of Santi and takes major risks in winning the ball back
for us... IMO, the reason Coquelin has had such a successful integration into the first team is that he focussed incredibly hard on the basics of his role first and foremost before adding other elements to his
game (long - balls, driving runs into space, more aggressive ball movement in general) it's not rocket science to tell a
player to curb the attacking side of their
game and focus primarily on defence before attack... Nor is it that hard to see that playing in a midfield pairing with either Ramsey or Cazorla is going to be different as well.
Good article states many reasonable conclusions and facts about the season and how amongst all the turmoil we have a manger who does well but one thing in purchases over the last five years we are 6th in the epl were at 366m tottenham in 5th with 397m and he made a mistake there we are 6thin money spent on
players but we have had the sanchez saga and new
players adjusting to epl and the team and injuries and it definitely hasnt been our year in ref decisions which have played a factor in
games though we still should have won aside from ref but watford and westbrom many other
games are included at city free offside goal weak penalty and at spurs we were robbed of going one nil up auba onside bu honestly the officiating across the
whole league this year has been an embarrassment to professional officials of all sports its been bad
game after
game they need to get some rigorous training this offseason
for improvement
Jurgen Klopp was on his feet
for the
whole game, cajoling his
players and giving instructions, while Arsenal fans often complain that Wenger just sits there playing with his zipper and throwing water bottles, but this is positive proof that Wenger really can make a massive difference to what goes on out in the field.
It is vitally important that we get all 3 points today and continue our home winning run to 11 in a row, and we will need the supporters to get right behind the team
for the
whole 90 minutes and let the
players know exactly how important this
game is to the fans.
I really hope that Wenger doesn't dilly dally with Perez's introduction into the starting lineup, especially when the
whole fanbase will be wanting to see him start against Southampton, But knowing Wenger and his way's of thinking, he will probably want the
player to get used to the Arsenal environment from the bench
for a few
games!
Wenger keeps putting his hands between his legs the
whole game, while people like Ranieri sits very little in a match, they are there always shouting motivating the
players for 90 minutes, still the AKBs thinks Wenger should not be blamed.
They are around 4/1 second Favourites to win the
whole tournament, but the bets I like are the 15/8 on offer
for winning all three Group
games, and the 25/1 I can get
for Ozil to end up as
player of the tournament.
This idea grew when Wenger played the striker
for the
whole of the Carabao Cup
game against Doncaster, but Metro have reported that Mourinho has backed Wenger and said that it would not be a good idea to play a
player who is not quite match ready even if they are as important to a team as Sanchez is to Arsenal and what caused Mourinho to comment on the issue was being asked about his own use of Luke Shaw
for me I woukd have told Sanchez and Ox they were not playing u less they signed a new contract or window was closed... he chose to show them he wanta them but they both used it
for their own purposes... As a result the
whole pre season was lost as Wenger has played Lacazette and Kolasinac and what must they have thought not to be picked in such a big
game... Wenger should then and always only pick
players ready to work hard
for the team... yesterday also showed we do nt need Ozil to play all the time... if he had come on 2nd half yesterday along with Sanchez the Chelsea
players would be thinking WTF at our bench quality

Time
for some brutal honesty... this team, as it stands, is in no better position to compete next season than they were 12 months ago, minus the fact that some fans have been easily snowed by the acquisition of Lacazette, the free transfer LB and the release of Sanogo... if you look at the facts carefully you will see a team that still has far more questions than answers... to better show what I mean by this statement I will briefly discuss the current state of affairs on a position - by - position basis... in goal we have 4 potential candidates, but in reality we have only 1 option with any real future and somehow he's the only one we have actively tried to get rid of
for years because he and his father were a little too involved on social media and he got caught smoking (funny how people still defend Wiltshire under the same and far worse circumstances)... you would think we would want to keep any goaltender that Juventus had interest in, as they seem to have a pretty good history when it comes to that position... as far as the defenders on our current roster there are only a few individuals whom have the skill and / or youth worthy of our time and / or investment, as such we should get rid of anyone who doesn't meet those simple requirements, which means we should get rid of DeBouchy, Gibbs, Gabriel, Mertz and loan out Chambers to see if last seasons foray with Middlesborough was an anomaly or a prediction of things to come... some fans have lamented wildly about the return of Mertz to the starting lineup due to his FA Cup performance but these sort of pie in the sky meanderings are indicative of what's wrong with this club and it's wishy - washy fan - base... in addition to these moves the club should aggressively pursue the acquisition of dominant and mobile CB to stabilize an all too fragile defensive group that has self - destructed on numerous occasions over the past 5 seasons... moving forward and building on our need to re-establish our once dominant presence throughout the middle of the park we need to target a CDM then do whatever it takes to get that
player into the fold without any of the usual nickel and diming we have become famous
for (this kind of ruthless haggling has cost us numerous special
players and certainly can't help make the
player in question feel good about the way their future potential employer feels about them)... in order
for us to become dominant again we need to be strong up the middle again from Goalkeeper to CB to DM to ACM to striker, like we did in our most glorious years before and during Wenger's reign... with this in mind, if we want Ozil to be that dominant attacking midfielder we can't keep leaving him exposed to constant ridicule about his lack of defensive prowess and provide him with the proper
players in the final third... he was never a good defensive
player in Real or with the German National squad and they certainly didn't suffer as a result of his presence on the pitch... as
for the rest of the midfield the blame falls squarely in the hands of Wenger and Gazidis, the fact that Ramsey, Ox, Sanchez and even Ozil were allowed to regularly start when none of the aforementioned had more than a year left under contract is criminal
for a club of this size and financial might... the fact that we could find money
for Walcott and Xhaka, who weren't even guaranteed starters, means that our
whole business model needs a complete overhaul...
for me it's time to get rid of some serious deadweight, even if it means selling them below what you believe their market value is just to simply right this ship and change the stagnant culture that currently exists... this means saying goodbye to Wiltshire, Elneny, Carzola, Walcott and Ramsey... everyone, minus Elneny, have spent just as much time on the training table as on the field of play, which would be manageable if they weren't so inconsistent from a performance standpoint (excluding Carzola, who is like the recent version of Rosicky — too bad, both will be deeply missed)... in their places we need to bring in some proven performers with no history of injuries... up front, although I do like the possibilities that a
player like Lacazette presents, the fact that we had to wait so many years to acquire some true quality at the striker position falls once again squarely at the feet of Wenger... this issue highlights the ultimate scam being perpetrated by this club since the arrival of Kroenke: pretend your a small market club when it comes to making purchases but milk your fans like a big market club when it comes to ticket prices and merchandising... I believe the reason why Wenger hasn't pursued someone of Henry's quality, minus a fairly inexpensive RVP, was that he knew that they would demand
players of a similar ilk to be brought on board and that wasn't possible when the business model was that of a «selling» club... does it really make sense that we could only make a cheeky bid
for Suarez, or that we couldn't get Higuain over the line when he was being offered up
for half the price he eventually went to Juve
for, or that we've only paid any interest to strikers who were clearly not going to press their current teams to let them go to Arsenal like Benzema or Cavani... just part of the facade that finally came crashing down when Sanchez finally called their bluff... the fact remains that no one wants to win more than Sanchez, including Wenger, and although I don't agree with everything that he has done off the field, I would much rather have Alexis front and center than a manager who has clearly bought into the Kroenke model in large part due to the fact that his enormous ego suggests that only he could accomplish great things without breaking the bank... unfortunately that isn't possible anymore as the
game has changed quite dramatically in the last 15 years, which has left a largely complacent and complicit Wenger on the outside looking in... so don't blame those
players who demanded more and were left wanting... don't blame those fans who have tried desperately to raise awareness
for several years when cracks began to appear... place the blame at the feet of those who were well aware all along of the potential pitfalls of just such a plan but continued to follow it even when it was no longer a financial necessity, like it ever really was...
Great news
for Ozil and Germany as I say but there may be some concern at Arsenal as Low kept our
player on
for the
whole game, just as he had done in their friendly on Wednesday.
Unfortunately the following Oxford
players were unavailable
for selection
for the
whole game.
effectively what the pattern you have seen is
for Man City
game... The idea am calling
for is to ease in Debuchy and Gibbs into the three man defensive unit so that within 2 or three matches, we will have to use just three of our 6 defenders in a typical
game and rotating so that they can carry us he
whole hog... the wingers will typically occupy the Wingbacks unless of course there is need to protect a lead in a very tight
game against a very dangerous side (You may have 5
players defenders in the field then).
I understand what your saying but Ozil is no Bergkamp he doesn't have the aggression strength and nasty streak that Dennis had and he doesn't obviously have the finishing ability of Dennis in the 10 role Ozil is a nice tidy
player who coasts through
games and has great vision and an eye
for a pass but there isn't much else to his
game in my opinion defensively he is really poor although our team as a
whole collectively are at times.
He's got to be more ruthless with the
players for the
whole 38
games of the premier league season and not give them the easy ride they've always enjoyed under his direction.
Arsenal completely dominated Southampton right from the start, and it seemed like every
player in the makeshift Gunners side were on top form
for the
whole game.
His all important headed effort gave us the lead in the first leg, while his acrobatic finish in the second proved to be nothing more than a consolation.Regardless, Giroud is still the holder of an impressive record, despite many Arsenal fans feeling he's nowhere near good enough to be playing
for the club.Few strikers get the better of Manuel Neuer — a
player widely regarded as the best goalkeeeper in the
game — and even fewer score against him with regularity condolence to the families affected by the Paris terror attack - the
whole world let's pray that no more life goes down

So far Wenger has refused to rotate much, but as the season goes on he will have to start using the
whole squad, even
for some League
games, if we don't want to risk our top
players burning out.
Minus some flashes from both Sead and Iwobi, and a workingman - like effort from Elneny, we learned very little... so here are a few of my observations from today's
game, which highlight my concerns about this team moving forward... the fact that Mertz started this
game, regardless of our injuries or those being «rested», should be a serious red flag
for any true Arsenal fan... if Wenger is preparing to use Mertz with any regularity then the
whole thing is a moot point because we are in deep shit... the fact is no quality team would ever have this tin soldier anywhere near there starting eleven except to groom their youthful
players, who in turn should be playing in this type of
game instead... I can only hope he was simply throwing him a bone
for the FA appearance and
for agreeing to stay on following the season, but I think the most likely answer is that Wenger's fragile relationship with the fan - base can't be ignored so he felt his experience was a safer bet... unfortunately not a positive choice
for a team trying to move forward (same old, same old)
This
game was really awful but those were the same 11 who won against city, I guess we couldn't blame any
player cause the
whole team was awful but we have to blame the manager
for the $ hity tactics.
I think we should invest in bringing a
player in rather than gamble again with him since it just takes one
game for him to be out
for the
whole season.
And regarding our strikers they r regularly scoring so y do we distrupt the chemistry of the team n call
for wengers head after it does nt click, so we as fans should nt go overboard of managing the manager, let him handle the situation, and if he says theo is a striker let it be that way coz he is the one who sees the
players day in n day out, and enjoy the best football
game in the
whole world, when arsenal play it the arsenal way, even barca seems like cambridge united in front of our beautiful
game
