Since there is salvation outside the visible church — since, that is to say, Christ is somehow working outside organized Christianity — and if non-Christians have a right to know God's «
whole plan of salvation» for Christians, then it follows that Christians have an obligation to know God's plan of salvation for those outside the visible church, for those who are not preordained to become professing Christians.
