In my Wayback Playback series, I take an old - fashioned recipe, usually from the 1800s or 1900s, and revamp it so it's more modern and more in line with the principles of holistic nutrition (e.g. whole, real foods, dairy - free, gluten - free, sometimes grain - free and often with substitutions offered to make it vegan friendly).
