The music in the trailer was just music we found
for the trailer - but the
whole game itself has an original

A couple of this month's big
games don't have official
soundtrack releases announced yet: Sea of Thieves will presumably offer a
soundtrack release after they actually put some stuff in the
game for players to do, yuk yuk yuk (actually, the
soundtrack samples that Rare has posted on their YouTube are so infuriatingly evocative that I'm actively angry the
whole soundtrack isn't available yet).
And that's not counting the new
soundtrack for the
game to make the
whole thing feel better
for your ears, to boot.
The
whole batch of tunes has become regular listening
for me, and even if you have no intention of playing this terrific
game, I urge you to check out the free stream of the
soundtrack over on SoundCloud.
The
soundtrack for the
game, as far as I could tell before my ears started to bleed, basically broke down into a single guitar riff or two on repeat the
whole time — and no, there is no support
for using your own playlist.
Majora's Mask also includes some truly challenging and exemplary dungeon designs, several bosses likely to stick in your head, a plethora of fun minigames, a brilliant
soundtrack and an amazing suite of masks, which both provide extra motivation
for the
game's already unmatched sidequests and house the major gameplay - defining hook of the
whole adventure: the ability to transform into three of the most iconic races in Zelda history.
So when you say that we don't have a
whole lot of information on Mario himself, I guess Mario - fans still don't like to talk about that most excellent of
game - movies, the masterwork of adaptation, featuring prolific actor and lovechild of the independent film - scene Bob Hoskins, energetic superstar John Leguizamo and film - legend Dennis Hopper, featuring that most divine of
soundtracks, which ended up being such a darling of the criticsphere that it just begged
for a reboot?
