whole post-production editing controversy, where Tony Kaye accused Edward Norton of hijacking the film and recutting it to give himself more
screen time?
Every
time she
was on screen during Broken Embraces the movie lit up a
whole lot.
First up
is Light Source & Imagery's 22 - minute «The Making of Norbit», in which Eddie Murphy walks the knife's edge of self - awareness («When I put
on these makeups, I get to go to some
whole other place... that I couldn't go with [my real face]
on»), Thandie Newton hails the movie as a palate cleanser to a string of demanding roles / films (to think Jonathan Demme remade Charade for her when all he had to do
was put Eddie Murphy in a fat - suit), and we see nifty demonstrations of how the split -
screens were accomplished; turns out that much of the
time Murphy
is only playing Rasputia from the neck up, a good - natured obese woman filling in for the body.
But as modern and cool as the
whole thing seems, and as sleek as it looks (the graphics
are very sharp), it requires more eyes - off - the - road
time than more conventional solutions, particularly given the small touch points for some of the
on -
screen functions.
k. Bluetooth: okay if you need the interaction with other devices (especially for bigger
screens) l. GPS — don't think anybody really needs it — also if you want it to track your device it needs to

Only
time will tell, though, whether monochrome e-readers

whole are fated to fade away in favor of ever - cheaper color -

The
screen itself isn't great, mostly due to poor viewing angles which doesn't compliment the fact that the
whole unit
is designed to lie flat
on a table, meaning most of the
time you'll
be looking at it from anything but straight
on.
There
's a
whole menu
on the bottom
screen for interacting with other players, which can really help you access Pokemon you might not have
been able to find otherwise, or at least make accessing multiplayer features so much easier than in previous games — you can do these things at any
time outside of battle or conversation instead of detouring to the nearest Pokemon Center.
The only non Superstar Titantron they have
is if you want the WWE logo to
be on the
screen the
whole time.
Other slight negatives
on the
whole experience surround the fact that the enemy forces
are a little dumb at
times (especially
on the normal difficulty), and as long as you creep slowly around each area, you
are very much able to pick off the bad guys as the
screen scrolls, before they ever attempt to get moving.
Being somewhat limited in my freedom to be entertained as a kid, for many years of my life, gaming served as a diverse means of escape for me away from the trappings of a mostly mundane, repetitive life, at the end of the school day I would often think to myself «alright... so what are some of the good things that I have to look forward to when I get home...», one of the first things that I would do as soon as I got home after school was play FINAL FANTASY on PlayStation, I would eagerly walk home as quickly as I could just so that I could continue playing from the part where I had last left off the day before, as pathetic as this may come across, I can confidently say that many of the happiest moments that I have had in my life have been while being utterly enthralled by the developments in the games, I think that reminiscing about aspects of a video game with great fondness is a hallmark of an impactful form of entertainment, I would often be so «in the zone» while playing that anything aside from what was taking place on the screen would become completely null and void in my mind to the point where I forget that I was playing a video game, even though I did not live the events of the game, I can emphatise with them as if I had, that is the sort of impact that the emotional depth of the story, the characters, the music, the design and the overall world of the series have had on me, what appeals the most to me is that FINAL FANTASY allows us the luxury of divorcing ourselves of our current reality to assume that of a world of fantasy for a precious moment in time, which is a sentiment that makes me wish that our world as whole had a little more «FINAL FANTASY» within it so as to make us all want to wake up as soon as possible to enjoy anothe
