We live in a culture that says
wholeness comes in finding a «good enough» partner.
We are not told exactly how
wholeness comes, but the concluding message is: «Your faith has cured you.»

this wholeness came not from two perfections meeting, but two imperfections meeting, two imperfections that both complemented and compensated for one another's shortcomings.
