So
why change a players postion when it could be negative for the team.

If you were playing on a Sunday morning and got caught out by that goal you would be steaming 3
players v 1 and not one
players actually picked him up, so he turns and runs 60 yards Massive schoolboy error And
why is the team virtually the same barring forced
changes What's the point of having a squad WENGER OUT and you will hear this again and again One difference in the teams, they play as a team Ramsey and Alexis awful
As Wenger said, it can be detrimental to go against the feelings of the
players, so
why change a system when it's brought about a good winning run?
the same is true about your statement.we all know most of the top teams bar juventus play either4 -3-3 or 4 -2-3-1, which are very similar. We know that Wenger isn't a tactical wizard and hes very cautious, so
why would he
change formation?the only reason i can see would be to accommodate
players who might not get into the team i.e Ramsey on the wing.Which is not a good idea
(3) formation flexibility — it took 20 years for Wenger to return to a back 3 and now he can't seem to choose anything but that formation... the teams in the premiership and those we could face in the Europa will present vastly different tactics and we need to have a manager who can prepare this squad for this eventuality and have the fortitude to make the necessary adjustments throughout the season... I have seen nothing in the past 6 - 7 years to suggest that he is the man to take on this challenge... I can't even remember when he
changed formations when he would replace a small, pacy striker, like during the Walcott experiment, with the lumbering Giroud... of course this is exactly
why there is no other manager in the world that plays more
players out of their natural positions (square peg in a round hole)
But now, its directly opposite, yet he can
change things... We have
players that can play in a 3 -4-3 formation... we have
players that play high presing style bar Ozil...
why not just try new things???
We should all know by now Arsene is never going to
change his transfer policy, he always shops in the bargain basement to sign
players no other club wants because they are not good enough for them so
why does he think they are good enough foe Arsenal?
Neville said how he thinks Arsene has done a terrific job with obvious limitations but he cant figure out
why he
changed from having power in midfield to small technical
players..
So
why doesn't Wenger
change things, maybe have specific training programs for certain
players!
They
changed Mourinho and Chelsea's system to get the title in the next season,
why can't Arsenal
players and fans do the same?
Its not news that arsenal training methods needs to
change, we are yet to categorise our
players, not everybody can train hard as Sanchez for example, we have a lot of
players not going to gym and doing what's needed or required of them, that's
why we do get injuries, imagine if it was an Arsenal
player that Aguero kicked like he did to David Luiz, that would be end of the season for that
player.
I wonder
why no one asks him
why sudden
change in his approach during the game... how come he stood at least for the first 30 mins beside the line and was giving instructions to the
players!?
nice to see you crawl out of your hole just in time to offer your 2 cents worth once again... unlike yourself I started following this team long before Wenger arrived on the scene and will continue to do so long after he's gone... in his earlier years I admired the cerebral elements he brought to the EPL, which at that point was more brutish than beautiful, and I respected the seemingly tireless efforts of Arsene, Dein & staff to uncover and develop talent without sacrificing the product on the field... likewise I appreciated that such a youthful manager wasn't afraid to bring strong personalities and / or world - class
players into the fold without being fearful of how said
players would potentially undermine and / or dilute his authority... unfortunately this all
changed about 10 years ago and culminated in the removal of all our greatest
players, both young and old, without any real replacements coming in... from Henry to RVP to Fabergas and Nasri, it was easy to see that this club was no longer interested in competing at the highest levels... instead of being honest, minus the ridiculous claims regarding the new stadium, Wenger chose to side with management and in doing so became the «front man» for this corporation pretending to be a world - class soccer club... without the «front man» this organization would have been exposed numerous years earlier, so his presence was imperative if the facade was to continue... it's for this reason and more that I despise what this once great man and Kroenke has done to my beloved club... the gutless, shameful and manipulative way they have treated the fans, like myself, is largely indefensible and this is
why I felt it necessary to start offering my opinion in a public format... trust me, I resisted the temptation for many years but as long as the same shit continues to exist I will voice my opinions and if you don't like it maybe you should look for a different team to pretend to follow
Even if Rosicky was considered a similar
player to Sterling (which he is not),
why would that
change Wenger's mind?
Gwin its simple his bosses are not pleased with him this season and if he fails next season his sacked, other clubs are not like arsenal you don't get time on top and yes they will spend probably around 300M, City needs to
change more
players then Arsenal in the near future and as we all know new
players need to settle and some fail, that's
why they are trying to steal EPL
players who already conditioned, if they fail to attract the likes of Sanchez and some spud
players he could have problems next season,
As Rio Ferdinand said RVP told him the difference between Man - U and Arsenal is that @arsenal they all wanted to win but @ Man - U they have to win, and that's the difference no aggression no one is allowed to rais their voices in the
changing room at half timeat Arsenal, I think Arsen hates confrontation and that's
why he won't buy a beast only skilled avarage hight to short
players with no aggression even Flamini is tamed now, I'm hoping Sanchez will not follow suite.
Campbell is an amazing
player good on the ball has passe and he is good technically he should have been deployed where carzola or where alex iwobi was deployed do you remember the assists to wollcot??? Sometimes i do not understand Mr wenger especialy when he said he would use the same
players then he
changed his mind after that wounder
why????
Why change the rules just because England has a bad generation of
players this time?
if he had that situation last year he would have did it then too, thats what i'm trying to say, what you are saying is that he had
changed from last year, but he is the same as last year, and to sanchez you implied that he is this good because of the moral impact of the new
players and i just do nt believe in that, and thats
why i wrote about the 6 goal - streak, he did nt need a moral impact its just that we have a better defense so that the strikers get a lot more opportunities to attack a defense and not a packed bus after a lucky goal like last year
About Jay
changing the type of
players he recruited focusing less on the number next to their name rather than the actual fit and as a result I think that's
why their defense improved a lot lately hence 2 chips.
Actually respect Arsenal
players for a
change or else
why the f @ # k do you support them at all?
waiting for right
players from where????
Why cant this man
change!!!
Well written, but I think it will fall on deaf ears, my fear is as follows, it will take a loss in money for the manager and board to
change, this will only come if we finish out of the top 4, but knowing the board they would still give home a season to try again, I feel very sorry for Sanchez, he is total quality and deserves better, most of the other
players look settled, turn up give70 % and get paid, no matter what level you play at you should come off the pitch thinking I gave everything, how many of our
players could say that, they lack motivation,
player for
player we are as good if not better than athletico Madrid but they have a manger that gets 100 % out of every
player, Klopp is the same, but
why would they leave their clubs to come here with a boar that cares about money not entertainment, Wenger was a lucky manager he inherited a top defence now his luck has run out
defensively he did well chasing the ball... we have given chances to other
players for years and still they have not developed their full potential, my take is that we (WENGER) does not execute the proper squad rotation, playing the same
players again and again, is the reason
why we don't have a plan B a second team that can
change games and certainly has to be a factor for the out of the chart injuries our
players sustain season after season.
If the
players are not performing,
why don't you
change them?
These are all clearly management and coaching errors — other managers
change up and use different
players when the situation dictates or
players aren't performing,
why can't ours?
Wenger should wake up and
change different tactics for different opponents, that's how it should be, the
players should show everybody
why they are taking that huge amount of money.
Not sure
why Ox
changed to him, but I think the agent thinks about his own future, as much as his
players future. The problem is, any of these other clubs he moves to, he will be expected to be be available, and if not, will rapidly drop down the pecking order.
A club run by joe Lewis lol when was the last fuking time Spurs won a trophy give it a fuking rest Wenger has won more trophies then spuds in their whole fuking history Sick of plastic fans constantly knocking the manager and
players like you are fuking genius experts in knowing all about football We have the worst fan base in football a bunch of ingrates
Why would any top
player come and join Arsenal when they see how fans treat their own
players like ozil Lol at people talking about Spurs and pool fukers don't win any trophies but their fans stay loyal ours turn nasty every game werther we win or lose It won't
change even if we get a new manager they will turn on him at first defeat What we need is for the vocal minority of plastic key board fans to fuk off and stop bringing the club down Coyg
That's the point.Something needs to
change or else I don't see the need of Ozil here.If his best ability is to create chances
why put
players who can't finish in front of him.We need to play to his strengths. The guy needs to be used effectively.I was shocked at the number of assists he had in 15/16 season.Even people thought he'd break Henry's record but it couldn't happen. What's the use of Ozil if he can't assist?
We cant blame the
players, it's true some of them underperform, with a Manager as Simeone they would not be in the first team, and that is how you manage a Football Club; the reason
why we can not think of beating the so called Giants, is because our Manager is obsolete, his past glories are long gone and is unable better said UNWILLING to
change his ways; while he manages our team we can not dream and settle as it seems you have.
did nt gazidis said that wenger have money to sped, he just did nt, its not gazidis work to
change formation and train
players, arsenal have more than 150 mil in bank,
why its not spent ask Wenger not gazidis!!!
Im tired too every day reading samething after all one thing my mind do nt rest is the news of losing sanchez
why do nt this team act farst?m there is lot of
players who can go out from their team easly and come
change arsenal sach as mahrez, abmiang, turan, aguero swap sanchez I think we rest a little bit and wait in july for the whole show
This is an incredibly difficult question to answer for a variety of reasons, most importantly because over the years our once vaunted «beautiful» style of play has become a shadow of it's former self, only to be replaced by a less than stellar «plug and play» mentality where
players play out of position and adjustments / substitutions are rarely forthcoming before the 75th minute... if you look at our current
players, very few would make sense in the traditional Wengerian system... at present, we don't have the personnel to move the ball quickly from deep - lying position, efficient one touch midfielders that can make the necessary through balls or the disciplined and pacey forwards to stretch defences into wide positions, without the aid of the backs coming up into the final 3rd, so that we can attack the defensive lanes in the same clinical fashion we did years ago... on this current squad, we have only 1 central defender on staf, Mustafi, who seems to have any prowess in the offensive zone or who can even pass two zones through so that we can advance play quickly out of our own end (I have seen some inklings that suggest Holding might have some offensive qualities but too early to tell)... unfortunately Mustafi has a tendency to get himself in trouble when he gets overly aggressive on the ball... from our backs out wide, we've seen pace from the likes of Bellerin and Gibbs and the spirited albeit offensively stunted play of Monreal, but none of these
players possess the skill - set required in the offensive zone for the new Wenger scheme which requires deft touches, timely runs to the baseline and consistent crossing, especially when Giroud was playing and his ratio of scored goals per clear chances was relatively low (better last year though)... obviously I like Bellerin's future prospects, as you can't teach pace, but I do worry that he regressed last season, which was obvious to Wenger because there was no way he would have used Ox as the right side wing - back so often knowing that Barcelona could come calling in the off - season, if he thought otherwise... as for our midfielders, not a single one, minus the more confident Xhaka I watched played for the Swiss national team a couple years ago, who truly makes sense under the traditional Wenger model... Ramsey holds onto the ball too long, gives the ball away cheaply far too often and abandons his defensive responsibilities on a regular basis (doesn't score enough recently to justify): that being said, I've always thought he does possess a little something special, unfortunately he thinks so too... Xhaka is a little too slow to ever boss the midfield and he tends to telegraph his one true strength, his long ball play: although I must admit he did get a bit better during some points in the latter part of last season... it always made me wonder
why whenever he played with Coq Wenger always seemed to play Francis in a more advanced role on the pitch... as for Coq, he is way too reckless at the wrong times and has exhibited little offensive prowess yet finds himself in and around the box far too often... let's face it Wenger was ready to throw him in the trash heap when injuries forced him to use Francis and then he had the nerve to act like this was all part of a bigger Wenger constructed plan... he like Ramsey, Xhaka and Elneny don't offer the skills necessary to satisfy the quick transitory nature of our old offensive scheme or the stout defensive mindset needed to protect the defensive zone so that our offensive
players can remain aggressive in the final third... on the front end, we have Ozil, a
player of immense skill but stunted by his physical demeanor that tends to offend, the fact that he's been played out of position far too many times since arriving and that the
players in front of him, minus Sanchez, make little to no sense considering what he has to offer (especially Giroud); just think about the quick counter-attack offence in Real or the space and protection he receives in the German National team's midfield, where teams couldn't afford to focus too heavily on one individual... this
player was a passing «specialist» long before he arrived in North London, so only an arrogant or ignorant individual would try to reinvent the wheel and / or not surround such a talent with the necessary components... in regards to Ox, Walcott and Welbeck, although they all possess serious talents I see them in large part as headless chickens who are on the injury table too much, lack the necessary first - touch and / or lack the finishing flair to warrant their inclusion in a regular starting eleven; I would say that, of the 3, Ox showed the most upside once we went to a back 3, but even he became a bit too consumed by his pending contract talks before the season ended and that concerned me a bit... if I had to choose one of those 3
players to stay on it would be Ox due to his potential as a plausible alternative to Bellerin in that wing - back position should we continue to use that formation... in Sanchez, we get one of the most committed skill
players we've seen on this squad for some years but that could all
change soon, if it hasn't already of course... strangely enough, even he doesn't make sense given the constructs of the original Wenger offensive model because he holds onto the ball too long and he will give the ball up a little too often in the offensive zone... a fact that is largely forgotten due to his infectious energy and the fact that the numbers he has achieved seem to justify the means... finally, and in many ways most crucially, Giroud, there is nothing about this team or the offensive system that Wenger has traditionally employed that would even suggest such a
player would make sense as a starter... too slow, too inefficient and way too easily dispossessed... once again, I think he has some special skills and, at times, has showed some world - class qualities but he's lack of mobility is an albatross around the necks of our offence... so when you ask who would be our best starting 11, I don't have a clue because of the 5 or 6
players that truly deserve a place in this side, 1 just arrived, 3 aren't under contract beyond 2018 and the other was just sold to Juve... man, this is theraputic because following this team is like an addiction to heroin without the benefits
That's
why Wenger's teams may have
changed players over the years, but they play in a similar way and exhibit similar weaknesses.
Isnt it strange that we appear to be struggling to get any
change out of monaco despite announcing how wenger used to manage there yet our competitors have already sealed deals for monaco
players like bakayoko, mendy whilst our progress appears stuck in the mud with nothing sealed whatsoever,
why?
He will waste it on mostly average
players (if he doesn't make excuses
why they are not available) and play them out of position, whilst not
changing his strategy even though different opposition brings different problems to solve.
Tuchel will be welcomed all day, he ticks almost all boxes for us passionate, tactical, attractive football most of all we need amanager who is actively involved with game shouting and demanding from by line.we need a manager who will instill character and spine who reads the game and make
changes not waiting till the 70th min like we used to.
players will have to prove them selves give 100 % and not be judged by a name tag either you perform or NOT.I'd like to see all our
players given achance to prove them selves equally have afeeling about one lucas perez given a chance he'll flourish do nt understand
why he has been isolated.but what do we know??
Simply, we're not good enough, we even don't know
players who can
change our squad, thus
why most of you still think Giroud is irreplaceable.
Why doesn't he make substitution after 60 minutes Every top manager
changes if the team is not playing well or any particular
player
Why change your CB pair when they've manage clean sheets in successive games or not reward
players like Ox and Lucas who seem hungry and come on with bright displays?
my concern is
why we do nt see this devotion more often from our
players and
why were not willing to reinforce the one or two needed to
change our future.
That is
why Chelsea can do it, because they have so many top
players to choose from, and Maureen can
change his team to suit the formation easier than we can.
Any motivate the
players he don't know how to be tactical he just picks the team and tells the same thing it's not working
change it ever team will not play open so wenger needs to
change the team
players and style to defeat that also if a team presses us wenger does nothing to get round that same team same tactics that's the issue that's
why arsenal won't win the league it's like a boxer going for head all the time you need to go for body to open up the other for the head shot wenger is to soft and it's transfers to the
players remember the team he had before always makeing runs stretching teams even if they are sitting back spread there whole back line and midfield with run after run arsenal don't do that anymore they don't even shoot outside the box you know
why because wenger tells them not to another tactic to draw another team out Ramsey can shoot but he never shoots anymore
why is that wenger fact thanks guys.
This is
why players like Arteta, Podolski and even Giroud accepted a
change in their regular position.
«we need two world class
players in every position» thats the quote from Usmanov which i really agree with him same thing spanish big two has been doing for a long run and thats
why European Championship has been
changing hands because of quality they have in their squad same thing can not be said when you come to Arsenal approach we are way below in England i can Man city doing same thing pep brought with him
Of topick = I'm geting sick and tired of hearing about Fabregas hope we can make him and Costa coffe look avarage today and
why o
why dose Arsen take this shit from Jose we have the funds buy the
player we desperately need instead of buying injury prone or end of contract has beens AW has not beaten Chelsea yet 13 out of 13 games Shame on us i just hope we can
change that today but it's a tall order.
That's
why I don't take most of our fans seriously regarding their take on
players, it's just amazing how they
change their minds according to
change of the weather..
While we are on the subject on
changing players positions,
why don't we put welbeck at right back and Giroud left back?
we have decent
players... but our constant passing which isnt about to
change, will be our undoing...
why cant we play counter attcaking?
