I have
wide calves,
too (but not trim ankles), and I found a British company that makes boots to fit: JD Williams.
At 5» 2 ″, I love the aesthetic of OV clothing but found the legging lengths (kneecap leggings hit at the
widest part of a petite's
calves, which isn't the most flattering; 7/8 leggings are wayyyy
too long; leaving us only with 3/4 length) inconvenient for petite wear; and the crop tops, because they have no cups, flattened out my chest and required extra steps (like another sports bra underneath?)
Also, none of the tall boots I tried this year worked with my
calves or was
too wide for my narrow ankles and / or my low volume feet.
If you have a
wider calf, they also come in a
wide -
calf version
too.
And since most
wide -
calf boots come with
wide width shoe parts, they end of being
too big on my feet if they fit my
calves.

Boot has great features... perfect height, soft real leather without a cloth liner, and adjustable
calf, but the heel is
too wide for a narrow foot.

They fit my
wide calf (17 ″) well and allow me to wear some thick socks
too.
